Analysis of Gene Expression Profiles of Rice Mutant SLR1 Based on Microarray Data

Gibberellins are an important class of plant hormones.They play an important regulatory role in all stages of growth and development of higher plants.The use of mutants to study gibberellin metabolism and signal transduction pathways is currently a research hotspot.This article takes the data of Affymetrix chips of rice as an example,bioinformatics method was used to study rice SLR1 mutant and mine differentially expressed wild-type genes,thus exploring the expression regulation network of gibberellin signaling pathway-related genes.

Chirped Fiber Bragg Gratings for Optieal Fiber Dispersion Compensation

The use of α-power chirped fiber Bragg gratings for dispersion Cancellation in an optical fiber link is discussed.Numerical and theoretical investigation of recompressing the dispersion-broadened pulse by usingα-power chirped gratings is made,which shows that,the dispersion-broadened Gaussian pulse after l00km standard fiber(with zero dispersion atλ=1.3μm)trnasmission atλ=1.55μm with initial width of T_(FWHM)=33ps(full width at half maximum)can be perfectly recompressed with the peak reflectivity of 82%by using a 30mm longα-power chirped fiber grating with properαvalue and optimal grating parameters.

中国药剂师干预减少骨科不合理用药的现状

随着药学服务的需求不断增长,医药保健的作用开始受到重视。在中国,临床药学的培养和实践工作仍处于探索阶段。本综述旨在讨论药剂师主导的干预措施对减少骨科不适当药物使用的影响。结果显示临床药师可以协助骨科医生和护士在抗生素治疗、疼痛控制和抗凝治疗的各个环节合理使用药物。药师的临床干预措施大大减少用药错误和医疗费用,但仍需长时间发展药学服务,提高药师的专业素质和制定中国药师法。

Unseen head pose prediction using dense multivariate label distribution

Accurate head poses are useful for many face-related tasks such as face recognition, gaze estimation,and emotion analysis. Most existing methods estimate head poses that are included in the training data(i.e.,previously seen head poses). To predict head poses that are not seen in the training data, some regression-based methods have been proposed. However, they focus on estimating continuous head pose angles, and thus do not systematically evaluate the performance on predicting unseen head poses. In this paper, we use a dense multivariate label distribution(MLD) to represent the pose angle of a face image. By incorporating both seen and unseen pose angles into MLD, the head pose predictor can estimate unseen head poses with an accuracy comparable to that of estimating seen head poses. On the Pointing'04 database, the mean absolute errors of results for yaw and pitch are 4.01?and 2.13?, respectively. In addition, experiments on the CAS-PEAL and CMU Multi-PIE databases show that the proposed dense MLD-based head pose estimation method can obtain the state-of-the-art performance when compared to some existing methods.

A low-temperature synthesis-induced defect formation strategy for stable hierarchical porous metal–organic frameworks

A stable hierarchical porous metal-organic framework PCN-56 with abundant Lewis acid sites(denoted as Defective-PCN-56) was synthesized by the low-temperature synthesis-induced defect formation method.The existence of mesopore in structure was confirmed by N2 sorption isotherm and the successful encapsulation of large dye molecules.The Defective-PCN-56 has higher loading capacity toward anti-cancer drug Doxo compared with that of "nearly ideal-crystal"(denoted as Ideal-PCN-56)synthesized at high temperature,showing potential application as drug carrier.The low-temperature synthesis-induced defect formation strategy presented here provides a new and facile way to synthesize stable MOFs with the combination of intrinsic micropore and additional mesopore as well as abundant Lewis acid sites.
