The governing equations are the 3-D incompressible N-S equations and k-Ε turbulent model equations, which are discretized by control volume method to predict the mean flow and turbulent flow. The concept of a fractional volume of fluid (VOF) is also used to predict the free surface profile. The turbulent flow field in the tail water channel of the Fengman Hydropower Plant in China has been simulated by this model.展开更多
