Ten millet cultivars from China and abroad were analyzed for their crude fat, amylose and amylopectin, crude protein and amino acid content. Ten millet cultivars from China and abroad were analyzed for their crude fat, amylose and amylopectin, crude protein and amino acid content. A wide variation was observed in amylopectin contain, ranging from 54.47% to 69.26%, while amylose content ranged from 11.26% to 23.22%. The average crude fat in all cultivates was 3.46%, and most cultivates ranged from 3.1% to 3.7%. Protein contents ranged from 8.61% to 15.54% with a mean value of 11.94%. For amino acid composition, the ten cultivates were particularly rich in leucine, and the mean was 34.57 mg/g. The millet cultivars were also high in glycine, glutamic acid and cysteine. Millet was known to be limiting in the essential amino lysine, and the mean was 5.18 mg/g. Other amino acids, tyrosine, histidine and arginine were also very low in the ten cultivars. In general, significant nutrient composition differences were observed between the different millet cultivars, and A2 (a kind of mother line of the hybrid millet) and hybrid millet registered a higher level of protein and amino acid composition which would be useful in millet breeding. 展开更多

[Objectives]This study was conducted to further enhance the disease resistance of summer-sown hybrid millet varieties and improve the quality of millet.[Methods]Zhangzagu No.24 was bred by Zhangjiakou Academy of Agricultural Sciences with sterile line A2 as the female parent and"5170"as the male parent.[Results]The growth period for summer sowing of Zhangzagu No.24 is 88 d.The seedlings are green and have green leaf sheaths.The plant height is 110 cm.The panicles are 26 cm in length,in a stick panicle type,and moderate in tightness.The single panicle weight is 15.3 g,and the grain weight per panicle is 12.9 g.The grain yield is 84.2%,and the milled rice rate is 78.2%.The 1000-grain weight is 3.11 g.Zhangzagu No.24 shows yellow grains and yellow rice.There is one or two tillers per plant.Zhangzagu No.24 is resistant to herbicide sethoxydim.It obtained the registration certificate for non-main crop varieties,registration number:GPD millet(2018)130194.[Conclusions]This study will contribute to the development of water-saving,high-efficiency and green industrialization of hybrid millet in summer sowing areas in China. 展开更多

Generating intense ultrashort pulses with high-quality spatial modes is crucial for ultrafast and strong-field science and can be achieved by nonlinear supercontinuum generation(SCG)and pulse compression.In this work,we propose that the generation of quasi-stationary solitons in periodic layered Kerr media can greatly enhance the nonlinear lightmatter interaction and fundamentally improve the performance of SCG and pulse compression in condensed media.With both experimental and theoretical studies,we successfully identify these solitary modes and reveal their unified condition for stability.Space-time coupling is shown to strongly influence the stability of solitons,leading to variations in the spectral,spatial and temporal profiles of femtosecond pulses.Taking advantage of the unique characteristics of these solitary modes,we first demonstrate single-stage SCG and the compression of femtosecond pulses from 170 to 22 fs with an efficiency>85%.The high spatiotemporal quality of the compressed pulses is further confirmed by highharmonic generation.We also provide evidence of efficient mode self-cleaning,which suggests rich spatiotemporal self-organization of the laser beams in a nonlinear resonator This work offers a route towards highly efficient,simple,stable and highly flexible SCG and pulse compression solutions for state-of-the-art ytterbium laser technology. 展开更多

Precise localisation and navigation are the two most important tasks for mobile robots.Visual simultaneous localisation and mapping(VSLAM)is useful in localisation systems of mobile robots.The wide-angle camera has a broad field of vision and more abundant information on images,so it is widely used in mobile robots,including legged robots.However,wide-angle cameras are more complicated than ordinary cameras in the design of visual localisation systems,and higher requirements and challenges are put forward for VSLAM technologies based on wide-angle cameras.In order to resolve the problem of distortion in wide-angle images and improve the accuracy of localisation,a sampling VSLAM based on a wide-angle camera model for legged mobile robots is proposed.For the predictability of the periodic motion of a legged robot,in the method,the images are sampled periodically,image blocks with clear texture are selected and the image details are enhanced to extract the feature points on the image.Then,the feature points of the blocks are extracted and by using the feature points of the blocks in the images,the feature points on the images are extracted.Finally,the points on the incident light through the normalised plane are selected as the template points;the relationship between the template points and the images is established through the wide-angle camera model,and the pixel coordinates of the template points in the images and the descriptors are calculated.Moreover,many experiments are conducted on the TUM datasets with a quadruped robot.The experimental results show that the trajectory error and translation error measured by the proposed method are reduced compared with the VINS-MONO,ORB-SLAM3 and Periodic SLAM systems. 展开更多
