Due to the popularization of silk fabrics recently it has become an interesting topic to know about the wicking behavior of silk fabrics in water. The absorptive capability of the silk textile makes clothing comfortable even for a hotter environment. Silk fabrics are comfortable in the summer, and warm in the winter. Silk fabric can usually contain about 11 percent of its weight in moisture but the range varies from 10% to as much as 30%. In this paper, the wicking behavior of silk fabric in both warp and weft directions was investigated in terms of wicking height, wicking rate, mass increase distribution per centimeter of wicking height, the velocity of wicking height, and durability of wicking height after removal of the wicking liquid reservoir. The experimental results show that the wicking height in both the warp and weft directions had a good correlation with the time. The wicking rate was comparable in both weft and warp directions, but at the start of the wicking phase, weft direction wicking was quicker than warp direction. The mass increase in fabric per centimeter of wicking height was inversely proportional to wicking height. The mass of moisture carried in the fabric did not significantly differ in the direction of the weft and warp.展开更多

After the Ethereum DAO attack in 2016,which resulted in significant economic losses,blockchain governance has become a prominent research area.However,there is a lack of comprehensive and systematic literature review ...After the Ethereum DAO attack in 2016,which resulted in significant economic losses,blockchain governance has become a prominent research area.However,there is a lack of comprehensive and systematic literature review on blockchain governance.To deeply understand the process of blockchain governance and provide guidance for the future design of the blockchain governance model,we provide an in-depth review of blockchain governance.In this paper,first we introduce the consensus algorithms currently used in blockchain and relate them to governance theory.Second,we present the main content of off-chain governance and investigate two well-known off-chain governance projects.Third,we investigate four common on-chain governance voting techniques,then summarize the seven attributes that the on-chain governance voting process should meet,and finally analyze four well-known on-chain governance blockchain projects based on the previous research.We hope this survey will provide an in-depth insight into the potential development direction of blockchain governance and device future research agenda.展开更多
In order to expand the color-change range and make the discoloration temperature suitable for the daily textiles,a new formulation of mixed-colorants thermochromic core material is designed,in which crystal violet lac...In order to expand the color-change range and make the discoloration temperature suitable for the daily textiles,a new formulation of mixed-colorants thermochromic core material is designed,in which crystal violet lactone(CVL)is the basic color former,bisphenol A(BPA)is the developer,especially the solvent-based dye and dodecyl dedecanoate are used as the extended dye and the solvent,respectively.Scanning electron microscope(SEM),differential scanning calorimeter(DSC)and thermogravimetric analyzer(TGA)were applied to study the morphology,encapsulation rate,non-isothermal crystallization behavior and thermal stability of the mixed-colorant thermochromic microcapsules(MCTMs)prepared by in-situ polymerization.The results show that MCTMs have good sphericity,uniform particle size,good thermal stability and the encapsulation rate can reach 86.73%.Under the non-isothermal conditions,the encapsulation of formaldehyde-melamine resin wall material can slightly reduce the crystallization rate of the solvent,but does not affect the relative crystallinity,thermal properties and discoloration sensitivity of the core materials.With the variety of ambient temperatures in the range of 20–35℃,the printed cotton fabrics with MCTMs could change color reversibly between different tones with good reliability and durability,and exhibit more gorgeous colors than the common thermochromic materials.展开更多
