The pulsations and translations of cavitation bubbles obey combined ordinary differential equations,and their nonlinearities are studied by the bifurcation diagram and the phase diagram in a strong ultrasonic field.Bu...The pulsations and translations of cavitation bubbles obey combined ordinary differential equations,and their nonlinearities are studied by the bifurcation diagram and the phase diagram in a strong ultrasonic field.Bubble pulsation can change regularly or irregularly with changing driving pressure in the time domain.The bifurcation diagrams of the pulsation versus driving pressure show that the pulsations and translations of bubbles have nonlinear characteristics,and the nonlinear translations of bubbles can disorder the pulsations for certain parameters.Disorder of the pulsation can also be caused by nonlinear pulsation itself.In addition,the phase diagrams also show that the nonlinear translations make a large contribution to the pulsations.The same result can also be obtained when the ambient radii of two bubbles are different.展开更多

Heteropoly acids(HPA) are well known for their versatile solid acid catalysis in diverse chemical reactions, however they suffer from low surface area(<10 m^2/g) and leaching into the reactions media, which reduce ...Heteropoly acids(HPA) are well known for their versatile solid acid catalysis in diverse chemical reactions, however they suffer from low surface area(<10 m^2/g) and leaching into the reactions media, which reduce their prospects as industrial catalyst.Herein, a novel hybrid material HPW@Zr-BTC,composed of 12-tungstophoric acid(HPW) and Zr^(Ⅳ)-benzene tri-carboxylate(Zr-BTC) metal-organic framework(MOF), was prepared via one-pot solvothermal method. Excellent HPW loading up to 32.3 wt% was achieved, and HPW@Zr-BTC composite proved to be highly stable, besides the crystalline morphology of Zr-BTC was intact. The catalytic activity of the hybrid composite was explored via Friedel-Crafts acylation of anisole with benzoyl chloride.The 28.2 wt% HPW@Zr-BTC showed excellent catalytic performance, with 99.4% anisole conversion and 97.6% yield(pmethoxybenzophenone) under solvent free conditions. Excellent retention of catalytic activity was achieved after at least five consecutive runs due to non-observable HPW leaching. The promising activity and stability of the catalyst forecasted its potential industrial applications.展开更多
Pharmaceutical comprehensive study(PCS) is a new system of experimental teaching in China, which integrates multidisciplinary pharmaceutical knowledge and covers the basic process of new drug discovery. To explore the...Pharmaceutical comprehensive study(PCS) is a new system of experimental teaching in China, which integrates multidisciplinary pharmaceutical knowledge and covers the basic process of new drug discovery. To explore the feasibility of this experiment teaching system and mode, we developed PCS as an elective course. The PCS is designed with two sections: pharmaceutical comprehensive design(PCD) and pharmaceutical comprehensive experiment(PCE). The PCD section includes literature review, comprehensive project design and oral examination. PCE can be divided into four parts: synthesis, quantitative determination, pharmacodynamic evaluation, and formulation and quality determination. Course grade was determined by experimental performance, written report, literature review, new project design and oral examination. The learning interest, experimental ability, theoretical level and literature retrieval ability, team spirit and interpersonal skills have been all significantly improved among students taking this course. A survey was administered at the end of the semester to the enrolled students. The responses were reported as percentages, and the feedback was positive. The course was highly recommended by the teaching inspection committee. This new course plays an important role in developing students’ creativity and comprehensive ability. It could help students understand the focus and features of every secondary discipline, as well as establish scientific and reasonable knowledge system. Most students can better understand the process of drug research after this course.展开更多

Four glasses with compositions xBi2O3-B2O3-(70-x)TeO2 (x = 40, 50, 60 and 70 tool%) have been prepared by using melt quenching technique. The effect of Bi2O3 content on thermal stability, optical properties and structures of these four Bi2O3-B2O3-TeO2 glasses is systematically investigated by inductive coupled plasma emission spectrometer (ICP), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), Raman spectra and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). It is found that the density, refractive index and optical basicity increase with increasing Bi2O3. The Raman spectra and XPS spectra show that the glass network is mainly constituted by the [BiO6] octahedron, [TeO4] trigonal bipyramidal, [TeO3] trigonal pyramid, [BO3] trigonal pyramid and [B04] tetrahedron structural units. With increasing Bi2O3, the coordination number around B atom changes from 3 to 4 and [TeO4] units are converted to [TeO3] units. Bi5+ ions may exist in Bi2O3-B2O3-TeO2 (BBT) system and their amount grows with increasing Bi2O3 content.展开更多
