We investigate the lepton flavor violation processes p(p) → eμ + X induced by R-parity violating interactions at the Tevatron hadron collider. The theoretical calculation and Monte Carlo simulation demonstrate that with a set of suitable cuts on experimental observables, one might be capable to reduce the standard model physical background to a controllable level so that the signals of R-parity violating interactions could be detected distinctively. Furthermore, clear sneutrino information can be abstracted from the purified event sample where other SUSY scalar quark "pollution" is heavily suppressed. We conclude that with a reasonable assumption of 10 fb-1 integrated luminosity, the experiments at the Tevatron machine would have potential to discover sneutrino in the region of mv(v) ≤ 400 GeV via lepton flavor violation eμ production channels, or extend the mass scale constraint up to mv(v) ≥ 550 GeV at 95% CL. 展开更多

The geographic information service is enabled by the advancements in general Web service technology and the focused efforts of the OGC in defining XML based Web GIS service. Based on these models, this paper addresses the issue of services chaining, the process of combining or pipelining results from several interoperable GIS Web Services to create a customized solution. This paper presents a mediated chaining architecture in which a specific service takes responsibility for performing the process that describes a service chain. We designed the Spatial Information Process Language (SIPL) for dynamic modeling and describing the service chain, also a prototype of the Spatial Information Process Execution Engine (SIPEE) is implemented for executing processes written in SIPL. Discussion of measures to improve the functionality and performance of such system will be included. 展开更多

J2EE(Java 2 Platform ,Enterprise Edition) is a kind of architecture that simplifies the development ,design and management of multilevel enterprise solution. The spatial middlewares based on J2EE can easily resolve the problems which the traditional Geographic Information Systems(GIS) now have to face with, such as transplantability, stability, easy maintainability and many more. This paper first introduces some conceptions and principles about J2EE, spatial middleware. then proposes a concrete J2EE based solution of spatial middleware, namely SISP AS, which develops on JBoss(an open sources application server of J2EE) and uses the SISP spatial database. SISP AS follows Open GIS specifications, and implements a subset of OGC services. it improves interoperability and commonality by using XML/GML for communication and data transmission, resolves the transmission efficiency problem of large spatial data by using raster pyramid and vector pyramid. Finally, the related work will be presented. Notably, the experiments on this prototype system can proves that it is available to manage, distribute and share large scale spatial data by using SISP AS. 展开更多

We demonstrate that a specific protein-protein... Wnt signaling directs cell-fate choices during embryonic development and tissue tumorigenesis. T cell fac-tor 4 (TCF4) plays a pivotal role in the Wnt signaling path-way. We demonstrate that a specific protein-protein interac-tion occurs between TCF4 and ATF5 (activating transcrip-tion factor 5) —— a new member of cAMP response element binding protein (CREB) with the yeast two-hybrid system. The N-terminal and DNA binding domain of TCF4 (TCF4ND, 1—495 aa) and the C-terminal spanning bZIP domain of ATF5 (162—282 aa) were found to be responsible for the interaction, and the C-terminal of ATF5 (ATF5/C) showed a much stronger interaction with TCF4ND than the full-length of ATF5 by detecting the b-gal activity. Further-more, overexpression of ATF5/C enhanced transcriptional activation by TCF4 proteins in luciferase assay by transient transfection. Taken together, these data suggest that ATF5 may function as a co-activator to potentiate the ability of TCF4 to activate transcription. 展开更多

Haemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS) is a worldwide epidemic plaguing over thirty nations. This disease has spread across 26 provinces, cities and autonomous regions of China with an annual onsets number of more than a hundred thousand and a mortality rate of 5% to 15%, accounting for over 80% of cases in the world, and threatening the safety and health of Chinese people. 1 Analysis of serum samples over recent years indicates that the plagued areas are expanding. Instead of a single type Ⅰ or Ⅱ strain, each area now has a combination with one type predominant. 2 These demographic changes revealed a shortcoming of the monovalent vaccine in use, urging China to develop a purified bivalent vaccine based on monovalent one. This research on clinical observation and immunization effects led to a purified bivalent vaccine manufactured by Changchun Institute of Biological Products, China from primary cultured hamster kidney cells. 展开更多
