Many dialects in Guizhou, having unique pronunciation from mandarin, are hard to understand even to local people, which become the major obstacle for many English learners in our province. This paper takes English majors in Guizhou Medical University for example, analyzing their common problems in pronunciation, such as [l]. [r]; [l]. [n]; [θ]. [e]; [f] and [v], and then discussing the causes. Finally, this paper finds out some solutions to the problem. It is hoped that this paper could provide some food of thought for new English teachers.展开更多
