The hub-driven virtual rail train is a novel urban transportation system that amalgamates the benefits of modern trams and buses.However,this system is plagued by issues such as decreased ride comfort and severe deformation of urban roads due to the increase in sprung mass and long-term rolling at the same position.To address these concerns and improve the human-vehicle-road friendliness of the virtual rail train,we propose an Improved Sky-Ground Hook and Acceleration-Driven Damper control(Improved SH-GH-ADD control)strategy for the semi-active suspension system.This control monitors the vibration acceleration signal of the unsprung mass in real-time and selects the mixed Sky-Hook and Acceleration-Driven Damper(SH-ADD)control or the mixed Ground-Hook and Acceleration-Driven Damper(GH-ADD)control based on the positive and negative values of the vibration acceleration of the unsprung mass.The Improved SH-GH-ADD control combines the advantages of SH-ADD control and GH-ADD control to achieve control of the sprung mass and unsprung mass in the full fre-quency band.Finally,through simulation and comparative analysis with traditional SH-ADD,GH-ADD,and mixed SH-GH control,we demonstrate the exceptional performance of the proposed algorithm. 展开更多

Traditional data driven fault detection methods assume that the process operates in a single mode so that they cannot perform well in processes with multiple operating modes. To monitor multimode processes effectively,this paper proposes a novel process monitoring scheme based on orthogonal nonnegative matrix factorization(ONMF) and hidden Markov model(HMM). The new clustering technique ONMF is employed to separate data from different process modes. The multiple HMMs for various operating modes lead to higher modeling accuracy.The proposed approach does not presume the distribution of data in each mode because the process uncertainty and dynamics can be well interpreted through the hidden Markov estimation. The HMM-based monitoring indication named negative log likelihood probability is utilized for fault detection. In order to assess the proposed monitoring strategy, a numerical example and the Tennessee Eastman process are used. The results demonstrate that this method provides efficient fault detection performance. 展开更多

Bone mass is maintained by the balance between osteoclast-induced bone resorption and osteoblast-triggered bone formation.In inflammatory arthritis such as rheumatoid arthritis(RA),however,increased osteoclast differentiation and activity skew this balance resulting in progressive bone loss.O-GlcNAcylation is a posttranslational modification with attachment of a single O-linkedβ-D-N-acetylglucosamine(O-GlcNAc)residue to serine or threonine residues of target proteins.Although O-GlcNAcylation is one of the most common protein modifications,its role in bone homeostasis has not been systematically investigated.We demonstrate that dynamic changes in O-GlcNAcylation are required for osteoclastogenesis.Increased O-GlcNAcylation promotes osteoclast differentiation during the early stages,whereas its downregulation is required for osteoclast maturation.At the molecular level,O-GlcNAcylation affects several pathways including oxidative phosphorylation and cell-cell fusion.TNFαfosters the dynamic regulation of O-GlcNAcylation to promote osteoclastogenesis in inflammatory arthritis.Targeted pharmaceutical or genetic inhibition of O-GlcNAc transferase(OGT)or O-GlcNAcase(OGA)arrests osteoclast differentiation during early stages of differentiation and during later maturation,respectively,and ameliorates bone loss in experimental arthritis.Knockdown of NUP153,an O-GlcNAcylation target,has similar effects as OGT inhibition and inhibits osteoclastogenesis.These findings highlight an important role of O-GlcNAcylation in osteoclastogenesis and may offer the potential to therapeutically interfere with pathologic bone resorption. 展开更多

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a complex autoimmune disease characterized by the production of autoantibodies to a broad range of self-antigens. Profiling the autoantibody repertoire using array-based technology has emerged as a powerful tool for the identification of biomarkers in SLE and other autoimmune diseases. Proteomic microarray has the capacity to hold large number of self-antigens on a solid surface and serve as a high-throughput screening method for the determination of autoantibody specificities. The autoantigen arrays carrying a wide variety of self-antigens, such as cell nuclear components (nucleic acids and associated proteins), cytoplas- mic proteins, phospholipid proteins, cell matrix proteins, mucosal/secreted proteins, glomeruli, and other tissue-specific proteins, have been used for screening of autoantibody specificities associated with different manifestations of SLE. Arrays containing synthetic peptides and molecular modified proteins are also being utilized for identification of autoantibodies targeting to special antigenic epi- topes. Different isotypes of autoantibodies, including IgG, IgM, IgA, and IgE, as well as other Ig subtypes, can be detected simultaneously with multi-color labeled secondary antibodies. Serum and plasma are the most common biologic materials for autoantibody detection, but other body fluids such as cerebrospinal fluid, synovial fluid, and saliva can also be a source of autoantibody detection. 展开更多

As a semiconductor material with a 2 D-laminate structure, g-C_(3)N_(4)(bandwidth 2.7 e V) has a similar structure and excellent performance to graphene. However, high surface energy and photogenerated e–h recombination of g-C_(3)N_(4)seriously hinder its application in the field of marine anticorrosion and antifouling.To solve these problems, we synthesized the g-C_(3)N_(4)nanosheets decorated with Zn O nanoring via chemical etching technology. Whether the NR Zn O-CNNs have surface protection performance among the pure EP on the corrosion protection for metal substrate were investigated. The antifouling properties NR Zn OCNNs hybrid were also estimated through photocatalytic bacterial and algae resistance tests. Combined with the electrochemical results, it was found that the impedance modulus of NR Zn O-CNNs/EP within 45 days showed two orders of magnitude higher than that of pure EP in the 3.5 wt% Na Cl solution. Besides, Local electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(LEIS) further explored the anticorrosion behavior of NR Zn O-CNNs/EP coating, which indicated that the NR Zn O-CNNs/EP coating with a scratch maintained an excellent corrosion resistance between 0–24 h. Under the visible light conditions, the lifetime of photogenerated e–h was prolonged due to the formation of NR Zn O-CNNs heterojunction structure, it was observed that the antibacterial rate against Bacillus subtilis reached 100% within 8 h. An Antialgae test was performed on chlorella seawater solution, which indicated that 5 mg/m L of NR Zn O-CNNs hybrid could make chlorella sharply reduce within 4 days. Simultaneously, the corrosion protection and photocatalytic antifouling mechanisms of NR Zn O-CNNs were proposed, thus it provided a broader platform for the design of versatile marine protection materials. 展开更多

Li-Fraumeni syndrome(LFS),a rare autosomal-dominant inheritance condition,is associated with a family cancer history as well as pathogenic/likely-pathogenic TP53 germline variants(P/LP TP53 GV).The current clinical methods for detecting LFS are limited.Here,we retrospectively investigate P/LP TP53 GV among Chinese cancer patients by next-generation sequencing and evaluate its relationship with a family cancer history.A total of 270 out of 19,226 cancer patients have TP53 GV,including 53 patients with P/LP TP53 GV.Patients with P/LP TP53 GV are mainly found in male with glioma,lung cancer or sarcoma.The median age of diagnosis for P/LP TP53 GV patients is significantly lower than that of non-P/LP TP53 GV patients(31-years vs.53-years;P<0.01).One LFS patient and 3 Li-Fraumeni-like syndrome(LFL)patients are among the 26 followed-up P/LP TP53 GV patients.Among 25 types of P/LP TP53 GV,the highest variant frequencies occurred at codon 175 and 248.p.M237 I,p.R158 H,p.C238 Y and p.C275 R,are firstly identified among the Chinese LFS/LFL patients.This study reports the(P/LP)TP53 GV characteristics of Chinese pan-cancer patients.These findings suggest analyzing the P/LP TP53 GV in cancer patients is an effective strategy for identifying cancer predisposition syndrome. 展开更多

Heterogeneous transition metal catalysts are indispensable in improving environmental pollution.However,their fabrication is often costly and cumbersome,and they can easily pollute the environment.This study proposed using a natural Gabonese ore(GBO)containing Mn_(x)O_(y) and FexOy as catalysts to degrade orange Ⅱ(OII)via peroxymonosulfate(PMS)activation.The GBO+PMS system exhibited extraordinarily high stability and catalytic activity towards OII elimination(92.2%,0.0453 min^(−1)).The reactive oxygen species(ROS)generated in the system were identified using radical scavenging tests and electron spin-resonance(ESR)analysis.Singlet oxygen(^(1)O_(2))represented the dominant reactive species for OII degradation,while the system presented a lower reaction energy barrier and was effective in a broad pH range(2-10).This work also proposed the activation mechanism for the GBO+PMS system and OII degradation pathways.This study revealed a new approach for exploring inexpensive,eco-friendly,efficient,and stable heterogeneous transition metal catalysts. 展开更多
