This work aims to investigate the mechanical properties and interfacial characteristics of 6061 Al alloy plates fabricated by hotroll bonding(HRB)based on friction stir welding.The results showed that ultimate tensile strength and total elongation of the hot-rolled and aged joints increased with the packaging vacuum,and the tensile specimens fractured at the matrix after exceeding 1 Pa.Non-equilibrium grain boundaries were formed at the hot-rolled interface,and a large amount of Mg_(2)Si particles were linearly precipitated along the interfacial grain boundaries(IGBs).During subsequent heat treatment,Mg_(2)Si particles dissolved back into the matrix,and Al_(2)O_(3) film remaining at the interface eventually evolved into MgO.In addition,the local IGBs underwent staged elimination during HRB,which facilitated the interface healing due to the fusion of grains at the interface.This process was achieved by the dissociation,emission,and annihilation of dislocations on the IGBs. 展开更多

Very little is known about the role of melatonin in the trigeminal system, including the function of melatonin receptor 1. In the present study, adult rats were injected with formaldehyde into the right vibrissae pad to establish a model of orofacial inflammatory pain. The distribution of melatonin re- ceptor 1 and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate diaphorase in the caudal spinal trigeminal nucleus and trigeminal ganglion was determined with immunohistochemistry and histo- chemistry. The results show that there are significant differences in melatonin receptor 1 expression and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate diaphorase expression in the trigeminal ganglia and caudal spinal nucleus during the early stage of orofacial inflammatory pain. Our findings sug- gest that when melatonin receptor 1 expression in the caudal spinal nucleus is significantly reduced, melatonin's regulatory effect on pain is attenuated. 展开更多

Conventional finite-difference(FD)methods cannot model acoustic wave propagation beyond Courant-Friedrichs-Lewy(CFL)numbers 0.707 and 0.577 for two-dimensional(2D)and three-dimensional(3D)equal spacing cases,respectively,thereby limiting time step selection.Based on the definition of temporal and spatial FD operators,we propose a variable-length temporal and spatial operator strategy to model wave propagation beyond those CFL numbers while preserving accuracy.First,to simulate wave propagation beyond the conventional CFL stability limit,the lengths of the temporal operators are modified to exceed the lengths of the spatial operators for high-velocity zones.Second,to preserve the modeling accuracy,the velocity-dependent lengths of the temporal and spatial operators are adaptively varied.The maximum CFL numbers for the proposed method can reach 1.25 and 1.0 in high velocity contrast 2D and 3D simulation examples,respectively.We demonstrate the effectiveness of our method by modeling wave propagation in simple and complex media. 展开更多

Stimulated Raman scattering(SRS)in a longitudinal magnetized plasma is studied by theoretical analysis and kinetic simulation.The linear growth rate derived via one-dimensional fluid theory shows the dependence on the plasma density,electron temperature,and magnetic field intensity.One-dimensional particle-in-cell simulations are carried out to examine the kinetic evolution of SRS under low magnetic intensity of w_c/w_0<0.01.There are two density regions distinguished in which the absolute growth of enveloped electrostatic waves and spectrum present quite different characteristics.In a relatively low-density plasma(ne~0.20 nc),the plasma wave presents typical absolute growth and the magnetic field alleviates linear SRS.While in the plasma whose density is near the cut-off point(ne~0.23 nc),the magnetic field induces a spectral splitting of the backscattering and forward-scattering waves.It has been observed in simulations and verified by theoretical analysis.Due to this effect,the onset of reflectivity delays,and the plasma waves form high-frequency oscillation and periodic envelope structure.The split wavenumber Dk/k0 is proportional to the magnetic field intensity and plasma density.These studies provide novel insight into the kinetic behavior of SRS in magnetized plasmas. 展开更多

The parametric instability related to ion motion and the resulting cross-beam energy transfer are important aspects in the physics of inertial confinement fusion.The numerical simulation of the above physical problems still faces great technical challenges.This paper introduces a 2D hybrid-kinetic particle-in-cell(PIC)code,CBETor.In this code,the motion of ions is described by the kinetic method,the motion of electrons is described by the simplified fluid method and the propagation of laser in plasma is described by solving the wave equation.We use CBETor and the popular fully kinetic PIC code EPOCH to simulate the stimulated Brillouin scattering and cross-beam energy transfer process,respectively.The physical images are in good agreement,but CBETor can significantly reduce the amount of calculation.With the premise of correctly simulating the ion dynamics,our hybrid-kinetic code can effectively suppress the noise of numerical simulation and significantly expand the simulation scale of physical problems.CBETor is very suitable for simulating the physical process dominated by ion motion in the interaction of medium intensity laser and underdense plasma. 展开更多

This paper categorizes educational historiography as part of“historiography”because educational historiography is leaning towards historiography in spite of being a fundamental educational discipline with the dual disciplinary attributes of education and historiography.It is argued that the nature of a discipline is partly defined by its researchers and its roles,but more importantly,by its origin,major research topics and objectives,basic research theories,methodologies and paradigms,as well as its relations with cognate disciplines.And each of the above factors is elaborated on to illuminate the dual disciplinary nature of educational historiography.From the perspective of educational science,what reflects the nature of education the best is people’s“educational activities,”which can be defined as the aggregate of specific activities directed to promoting valuable human development,and the various ways educators and learners participate and interact in the educational process.This paper maintains that the history of educational activities constitutes an upside-down triangle relation with the histories of educational thoughts and system.The history of educational activities is the origin,premise and foundation,whereas the latter two are the derivatives and results.Therefore,the history of educational activities must be studied as part of the research on the history of education. 展开更多

Fast Fe(III)/Fe(II)circulation in heterogeneous peroxymonosulfate(PMS)activation remains as a bottleneck issue that restricts the development of PMS based advanced oxidation processes.Herein,we proposed a facile ammonia reduction strategy and synthesized a novel FeVO3-x catalysts to activate PMS for the degradation of a typical pharmaceutical,carbamazepine(CBZ).Rapid CBZ removal could be achieved within 10 min,which outperforms most of the other iron or vanadium-based catalysts.Electron paramagnetic resonance analysis and chemical probe experiments revealed SO_(4)^(·-),·OH,O_(2)^(·-)and high valent iron(Fe(IV))were all generated in this system,but SO4·-and Fe(IV)primarily contributed to the degradation of CBZ.Besides,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and X-ray adsorption spectroscopy indicated that both the generated low-valent V provides and oxygen vacancy acted as superior electron donors and accelerated internal electron transfer via the unsaturated V-O-Fe bond.Finally,the proposed system also exhibited satisfactory performance in practical applications.This work provides a promising platform in heterogeneous PMS activation. 展开更多

Increasing risks of incidental and occupational exposures to two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides(2D TMDCs)due to their broad application in various areas raised their public health concerns.While the composition-dependent cytotoxicity of 2D TMDCs has been well-recognized,how the outer chalcogenide atoms and inner transition metal atoms differentially contribute to their perturbation on cell homeostasis at non-lethal doses remains to be identified.In the present work,we compared the autophagy induction and related mechanisms in response to WS_(2),NbS_(2),WSe_(2)and Nb Se_(2)nanosheets exposures in MH-S murine alveolar macrophages.All these 2D TMDCs had comparable physicochemical properties,overall cytotoxicity and capability in triggering autophagy in MH-S cells,but showed outer chalcogen-dependent subcellular localization and activation of autophagy pathways.Specifically,WS_(2)and NbS_(2)nanosheets adhered on the cell surface and internalized in the lysosomes,and triggered m TOR-dependent activation of autophagy.Meanwhile,WSe_(2)and Nb Se_(2)nanosheets had extensive distribution in cytoplasm of MH-S cells and induced autophagy in an m TOR-independent manner.Furthermore,the 2D TMDCs-induced perturbation on autophagy aggravated the cytotoxicity of respirable benzo[a]pyrene.These findings provide a deeper insight into the potential health risk of environmental 2D TMDCs from the perspective of homeostasis perturbation. 展开更多

A novel evasion guidance for hypersonic morphing vehicle via intelligent maneuver strategy

This paper presents a novel evasion guidance law for hypersonic morphing vehicles,focusing on determining the optimized wing's unfolded angle to promote maneuverability based on an intelligent algorithm.First,the pursuit-evasion problem is modeled as a Markov decision process.And the agent's action consists of maneuver overload and the unfolded angle of wings,which is different from the conventional evasion guidance designed for fixed-shape vehicles.The reward function is formulated to ensure that the miss distances satisfy the prescribed bounds while minimizing energy consumption.Then,to maximize the expected cumulative reward,a residual learning method is proposed based on proximal policy optimization,which integrates the optimal evasion for linear cases as the baseline and trains to optimize the performance for nonlinear engagement with multiple pursuers.Therefore,offline training guarantees improvement of the constructed evasion guidance law over conventional ones.Ultimately,the guidance law for online implementation includes only analytical calculations.It maps from the confrontation state to the expected angle of attack and the unfolded angle while retaining high computational efficiency.Simulations show that the proposed evasion guidance law can utilize the change of unfolded angle to extend the maximum overload capability.And it surpasses conventional maneuver strategies by ensuring better evasion efficacy and higher energy efficiency. 展开更多

Background and purpose The ring finger protein 213 gene(RNF213)p.R4810K variant increased the risk of acute ischaemic stroke(AIS)attributable to intracranial arterial stenosis(ICAS)in the Japanese and Korean populations.In this study,we aimed to examine the prevalence of the RNF213 p.R4810K variant in Chinese patients with AIS or transient ischaemic attack and identify the phenotype of the carriers.Methods We analysed data from the Third China National Stroke Registry.All included participants were divided into two groups by carrier status of the p.R4810K variant.The aetiological classification was conducted according to the Trial of Org 10172 in Acute Stroke Treatment(TOAST)criteria.The presence of ICAS and extracranial arterial stenosis(ECAS)was defined as 50%-99%stenosis or occlusion of any intracranial and extracranial artery.Logistic regression models and Cox regression models were used to evaluate the association of the p.R4810K variant with TOAST classification,stenosis phenotypes and clinical outcomes.Results A total of 10381 patients were enrolled,among which 56(0.5%)had the heterozygote GA genotype for p.R4810K.The variant carriers were younger(p=0.01),and more likely to suffer from peripheral vascular disease(p=0.04).The p.R4810K variant was associated with large-artery atherosclerosis(LAA)(adjusted OR=1.94,95%CI 1.13 to 3.33),anterior circulation stenosis(adjusted OR=2.12,95%CI 1.23 to 3.65)and ECAS(adjusted OR=2.29,95%CI 1.16 to 4.51).Nevertheless,the p.R4810K variant was not associated with recurrence,poor functional outcome and mortality at 3 months and 1 year.Conclusions The RNF213 p.R4810K variant was associated with LAA,anterior circulation stenosis and ECAS in Chinese patients.Given the low carrying rate and only 1-year follow-up information,caution should be taken to interpret our findings in no statistically significant association between the p.R4810K variant and stroke prognosis in Chinese patients. 展开更多

Background China is one of the countries with the highest burden of stroke.Implementing multidimensional management guidelines will help clinicians practise evidence-based care,improve patient outcomes and alleviate societal burdens.This update of the 2019 edition will provide the latest comprehensive recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of ischaemic cerebrovascular diseases.Methods We conducted a comprehensive search on MEDLINE(via PubMed)up to 31 August 2023.The writing team established the recommendations through multiple rounds of online and offline discussions.Each recommendation was graded using the evidence grading algorithm developed by the Chinese Stroke Association(CSA).The draft was reviewed and finalised by the CSA Stroke Guidelines Writing Committee.Results This update included revisions of 15 existing recommendations and 136 new recommendations in the following areas of stroke care:emergency assessment and diagnosis of ischaemic cerebrovascular disease,acute-phase reperfusion therapy,evaluation of underlying mechanisms,antithrombotic therapy,prevention and treatment of complications,and risk factor management.Conclusions This guideline updated the recommendations for the clinical management of ischaemic cerebrovascular disease from 2019. 展开更多

DNA topoisomerases are essential nuclear enzymes in correcting topological DNA errors and maintaining DNA integrity.Topoisomerase inhibitors are a significant class of cancer chemotherapeutics with a definite curative effect.Natural products are a rich source of lead compounds for drug discovery,including anti-tumor drugs.In this study,we found that narciclasine(NCS),an amaryllidaceae alkaloid,is a novel inhibitor of topoisomerase I(topo I).Our data demonstrated that NCS inhibited topo I activity and reversed its unwinding effect on p-HOT DNA substrate.However,it had no obvious effect on topo II activity.The molecular mechanism of NCS inhibited topo I showed that NCS did not stabilize topo-DNA covalent complexes in cells,indicating that NCS is not a topo I poison.A blind docking result showed that NCS could bind to topo I,suggesting that NCS might be a topo I suppressor.Additionally,NCS exhibited a potent anti-proliferation effect in various cancer cells.NCS arrested the cell cycle at G_(2)/M phase and induced cell apoptosis.Our study reveals the antitumor mechanisms of NCS and provides a good foundation for the development of anti-cancer drugs based on topo I inhibition. 展开更多

Aim Stroke is the leading cause of disability and death in China.Ischaemic stroke accounts for about 60%-80%of all strokes.It is of considerable significance to carry out multidimensional management of ischaemic cerebrovascular diseases.This evidence-based guideline aims to provide the latest detailed and comprehensive recommendations on the diagnosis,treatment and secondary prevention of ischaemic cerebrovascular diseases.Methods We had performed comprehensive searches of MEDLINE(via PubMed)(before 30 June 2019),and integrated the relevant information into charts and distributed to the writing group.Writing group members discussed and determined the recommendations through teleconference.We used the level of evidence grading algorithm of Chinese Stroke Association to grade each recommendation.The draft was reviewed by the Guideline Writing Committee of Chinese Stroke Association Stroke and finalised.This guideline is fully updated every 3 years.results This evidence-based guideline is based on the treatment,care and prevention of ischaemic cerebrovascular diseases,which emphasises on pathogenesis evaluation,intravenous thrombolysis,endovascular therapy,antiplatelet therapy,prevention and treatment of complications,and risk factor management.Conclusions This updated guideline presents a framework for the management of ischaemic cerebrovascular diseases.Timely first-aid measures,professional care in the acute stage,and proactive secondary prevention will be helpful to patients. 展开更多

Appropriate comments of code snippets provide insight for code functionality, which are helpful for program comprehension. However, due to the great cost of authoring with the comments, many code projects do not contain adequate comments. Automatic comment generation techniques have been proposed to generate comments from pieces of code in order to alleviate the human efforts in annotating the code. Most existing approaches attempt to exploit certain correlations (usually manually given) between code and generated comments, which could be easily violated if coding patterns change and hence the performance of comment generation declines. In addition, recent approaches ignore exploiting the code constructs and leveraging the code snippets like plain text. Furthermore, previous datasets are also too small to validate the methods and show their advantage. In this paper, we propose a new attention mechanism called CodeAttention to translate code to comments, which is able to utilize the code constructs, such as critical statements, symbols and keywords. By focusing on these specific points, CodeAttention could understand the semantic meanings of code better than previous methods. To verify our approach in wider coding patterns, we build a large dataset from open projects in GitHub. Experimental results in this large dataset demonstrate that the proposed method has better performance over existing approaches in both objective and subjective evaluation. We also perform ablation studies to determine effects of different parts in CodeAttention. 展开更多

Background and purpose Transient ischaemic attack(TIA),transient symptoms with infarction(TSI)and diffusion-weighted imaging(DWI)-negative acute ischaemic stroke(AIS)share similar aetiologies but are considered to have a rather benign prognosis.We intended to investigate the association between intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis(ICAS),extracranial atherosclerotic stenosis(ECAS)and the prognosis of patients with TIA,TSI and DWI-negative AIS.Methods Clinical and imaging data of eligible participants were derived from the Chinese Intracranial Atherosclerosis study,according to symptom duration,acute infarction on DWI and discharge diagnosis.Based on the severity and location of arterial atherosclerosis,we categorised the study population into four groups:no or<50% ICAS and no ECAS;≥50% ICAS but no ECAS;no or<50%ICAS with ECAS;and concurrent≥50% ICAS and ECAS.Using multivariable Cox regression models,we analysed the relationship between the severity and distribution of large artery atherosclerosis and the prognosis of TIA,TSI and DWI-negative AIS.Results A total of 806 patients were included,67.3% of whom were male.The median age of the study participants was 63 years.Patients in the concurrent≥50% ICAS and ECAS subgroup had both a significantly higher 1-year recurrence rate(adjusted HR 3.4(95%CI 1.15 to 10.04),p=0.027)and a higher risk of composite vascular events(adjusted HR 3.82(95%CI 1.50 to 9.72),p=0.005).Conclusions Concurrent ICAS and ECAS is associated with a higher possibility of 1-year recurrent stroke or composite vascular events.Large artery evaluation is necessary to assess patients with transient ischaemic symptoms or DWI-negative AIS.Progress in shortening the time interval between symptom onset and large vessel evaluation is needed. 展开更多

Background To examine the relationship of serum albumin with poor functional outcome and mortality in patients with acute ischaemic stroke(AIS)or transient ischaemic attack(TIA),and perform a meta-analysis to summarise the association.Methods We analysed data from the Third China National Stroke Registry(CNSR-Ⅲ).Patients were divided into four groups based on serum albumin levels at admission.The outcomes included poor functional outcome(modified Rankin Scale(mRS)score of 3 to 6)and mortality at 3 months and 1 year.Multiple logistic regression models and Cox regression models were used to evaluate the association,respectively.We used a fixed-effect model to calculate the risk ratio for poor functional outcome and a random-effect model for mortality in the meta-analysis.Results A total of 13618 patients were enrolled.During the 3-month follow-up period,compared with 40 to 44.9 g/L group,patients in<35 g/L group had an increased risk of poor functional outcome and mortality(adjusted OR 1.37(95%CI 1.12 to 1.67);adjusted HR 2.13(95%CI 1.41 to 3.23)).The relationship in per 10 g/L decreased serum albumin with prognosis was consistently inversed(adjusted OR 1.17(95%CI 1.01 to 1.35);adjusted HR 1.86(95%CI 1.30 to 2.64)).Also,low serum albumin levels were independently correlated with clinical outcomes at 1 year.In the meta-analysis,the OR for poor functional outcome pooled 3 studies per 1 g/L decrease was 1.03(95%CI 1.02 to 1.05),and the HR for mortality pooled 5 studies was 1.07(95%CI 1.03 to 1.11).Conclusions Low serum albumin levels predict poor functional outcome and mortality in patients with AIS or TIA. 展开更多

Background:Although programmed cell death-ligand 1(PD-L1)plays a wellknown function in immune checkpoint response by interacting with programmed cell death-1(PD-1),the cell-intrinsic role of PD-L1 in tumors is still unclear.Here,we explored the molecular regulatory mechanism of PD-L1 in the progression and metastasis of ovarian cancer.Methods:Immunohistochemistry of benign tissues and ovarian cancer samples was performed,followed by migration,invasion,and angiogenesis assays in PDL1-knockdown ovarian cancer cells.Immunoprecipitation,mass spectrometry,and chromatin immunoprecipitation were conducted along with zebrafish and mouse experiments to explore the specific functions and mechanisms of PD-L1 in ovarian cancer.Results:Our results showed that PD-L1 induced angiogenesis,which further promoted cell migration and invasion in vitro and in vivo of ovarian cancer.Mechanistically,PD-L1 was identified to directly interact with vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-2(VEGFR2)and then activated the FAK/AKT pathway,which further induced angiogenesis and tumor progression,leading to poor prognosis of ovarian cancer patients.Meanwhile,PD-L1 was found to be regulated by the oncogenic transcription factor c-JUN at the transcriptional level,which enhanced the expression of PD-L1 in ovarian cancer.Furthermore,we demonstrated that PD-L1 inhibitor durvalumab,combined with the antiangiogenic drug,apatinib,could enhance the effect of anti-angiogenesis and the inhibition of cell migration and invasion.Conclusion:Our results demonstrated that PD-L1 promoted the angiogenesis and metastasis of ovarian cancer by participating in the c-JUN/VEGFR2 signaling axis,suggesting that the combination of PD-L1 inhibitor and antiangiogenic drugs may be considered as a potential therapeutic approach for ovarian cancer patients. 展开更多

Offshore wind farms(OWFs)have received widespread attention for their abundant unexploited wind energy poten-tial and convenient locations conditions.They are rapidly developing towards having large capacity and being located further away from shore.It is thus necessary to explore effective power transmission technologies to connect large OWFs to onshore grids.At present,three types of power transmission technologies have been proposed for large OWF integration.They are:high voltage alternating current(HVAC)transmission,high voltage direct current(HVDC)transmission,and low-frequency alternating current(LFAC)or fractional frequency alternating current transmission.This work undertakes a comprehensive review of grid connection technologies for large OWF integration.Compared with previous reviews,a more exhaustive summary is provided to elaborate HVAC,LFAC,and five HVDC topologies,consisting of line-commutated converter HVDC,voltage source converter HVDC,hybrid-HVDC,diode rectifier-based HVDC,and all DC transmission systems.The fault ride-through technologies of the grid connection schemes are also presented in detail to provide research references and guidelines for researchers.In addition,a comprehensive evalu-ation of the seven grid connection technologies for large OWFs is proposed based on eight specific indicators.Finally,eight conclusions and six perspectives are outlined for future research in integrating large OWFs. 展开更多

Background and purpose Previous studies have reported conflicting results as to whether women have poorer functional outcome than men after thrombolytic therapy.This study aims to investigate the relationship between sex differences and the prognosis of intravenous thrombolysis in Chinese patients with acute ischaemic stroke.Methods The patients enrolled in this study were from the Chinese Acute Ischemic Stroke Thrombolysis Monitoring and Registration study.The primary outcome was poor functional outcome,defined as a 3-month modified Rankin score of 3-6.The safe outcome was symptomatic intracranial haemorrhage(SICH)and mortality within 7 days and 90 days.Multiple Cox regression model was used to correct the potential covariates to evaluate the association between sex disparities and prognosis.Furthermore,the interaction of preonset Rankin scores,baseline National Institute of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)scores and Trial of Org 10172 in Acute Stroke Treatment(TOAST)types was statistically analysed.results A total of 1440 patients were recruited,including 541 women and 899 men.The baseline information indicated that women were older at the time of onset(66.2±11.2 years vs 61.0±11.3 years,p<0.001),and more likely to have a history of atrial fibrillation(25.3%vs 11.2%,p<0.001),and had a higher NIHSS score on admission(12.3±6.8 vs 11.6±6.7,p=0.04).According to the prognosis analysis of unsatisfactory functional recovery,there was no significant difference between women and men(45.9%vs 37.1%;adjusted OR 1.01,95%CI 0.75 to 1.37).As for the safe outcome,the proportion of SICH and mortality in women is relatively high but did not reach statistical significance.There was no significant interaction with sex,age,preonset Rankin score,NIHSS score,TOAST classification and the prognosis of intravenous thrombolysis.Conclusions For Chinese patients with ischaemic stroke,although women are older and more severe at the time of onset,the prognosis after intravenous thrombolysis is not significantly different from men. 展开更多
