One-dimensional semiconductor materials possess excellent photoelectric properties and potential for the construction of integrated nanodevices. Among them, Sn-doped CdS has different micro-nano structures, including nanoribbons, nanowires, comb-like structures, and superlattices, with rich optical microcavity modes, excellent optical properties, and a wide range of application fields. This article reviews the research progress of various micrometer structures of Sn-doped CdS, systematically elaborates the effects of different growth conditions on the preparation of Sn-doped CdS micro-nano structures, as well as the spectral characteristics of these structures and their potential applications in certain fields. With the continuous progress of nanotechnology, it is expected that Sn-doped CdS micro-nano structures will achieve more breakthroughs in the field of optoelectronics and form cross-integration with other fields, jointly promoting scientific, technological, and social development. 展开更多

The common ways to activate a chemical reaction are by heat, electric current,or light. However, mechanochemistry, where the chemical reaction is activated by applied mechanical force,is less common and only poorly understood at the atomic scale. Here we report a tip-induced activation of chemical reaction of carbon monoxide to dioxide on oxidized rutile TiO_(2)(110)surface.The activation is studied by atomic force microscopy,Kelvin probe force microscopy under ultrahigh-vacuum and liquid nitrogen temperature conditions, and density functional theory(DFT)modeling. The reaction is inferred from hysteretic behavior of frequency shift signal further supported by vector force mapping of vertical and lateral forces needed to trigger the chemical reaction with torque motion of carbon monoxide towards an oxygen adatom. The reaction is found to proceed stochastically at very small tip-sample distances.Furthermore, the local contact potential difference reveals the atomic-scale charge redistribution in the reactants required to unlock the reaction. Our results open up new insights into the mechanochemistry on metal oxide surfaces at the atomic scale. 展开更多

We characterize the current crowding effect for microwave radiation on a chip surface based on a quantum wide-field microscope combining a wide-field reconstruction technique. A swept microwave signal with the power of 0–30 d Bm is supplied to a dumbbell-shaped microstrip antenna, and the significant differences in microwave magnetic-field amplitudes attributed to the current crowding effect are experimentally observed in a 2.20 mm ×1.22 mm imaging area. The normalized microwave magnetic-field amplitude along the horizontal geometrical center of the image area further demonstrates the feasibility of the characterization of the current crowding effect. The experiments indicate the proposal can be qualified for the characterization of the anomalous area of the radio-frequency chip surface. 展开更多
