“解”“释”辨

从古代文字发生学入手,以原始字形之追索为方法,厘清中国古代阐释学之建构路径,可为当代中国阐释学总体构建提供可靠的文字学根据。阐释是过程。此过程,由解起始,经由诠后而再阐,实现阐之最高目的。解,由外力拆解对象,停留于分,失整体之把握。此类解释,无论如何必要精准,非阐释也。诠,现象本体之诂训,言之凿凿,求全求是。现象之本,当以此为准。阐,乃义理之阐,由本而求大求广,衍义是也。阐之目的,阐之意义,聚合于此,功成于此。易言之,释起于解,依分而立;诠由解始,依诂而正;诠必生阐尚意大开。解为分,诠为正,阐乃衍。由解而诠,由诠而阐,实现阐之完整过程,达及最高目的。阐,生于解与诠,实现解与诠。深入考察“解释”义,特别是作为单音字的“解”与“释”的本义,并与“阐”及“诠”的意义与使用相比较,可知选择并确定以“阐释学”——而非“诠释学”,更非“解释学”——为当代中国阐释学总称谓,是必要的且充分的。
