目的:探讨配戴角膜塑形镜矫正近视对角膜形态的变化及影响。方法:选择2015-01/2016-12期间在我院接受配戴角膜塑形镜矫正近视的90例患者为研究对象,根据配戴方式不同分为观察组(夜戴)45例90眼和对照组(日戴)45例90眼,观察比较两组患者... 目的:探讨配戴角膜塑形镜矫正近视对角膜形态的变化及影响。方法:选择2015-01/2016-12期间在我院接受配戴角膜塑形镜矫正近视的90例患者为研究对象,根据配戴方式不同分为观察组(夜戴)45例90眼和对照组(日戴)45例90眼,观察比较两组患者配戴角膜塑形镜前、配戴后1wk,1、3、6mo时的等效球镜度(spherical equivalent,SE)、裸眼视力(uncorrected visual acuity,UCVA)、角膜曲率及角膜中央厚度。结果:两组患者在戴镜后1wk,1、3、6mo时测量角膜中央厚度均明显低于戴镜前,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);观察组在戴镜后1、3、6mo时测量角膜中央厚度均明显低于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);两组患者配戴角膜塑形镜后1wk,1、3、6mo时的角膜曲率值均明显低于本组配戴角膜塑形镜前,且配戴前后差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。观察组配戴角膜塑形镜6mo时的角膜曲率(40.0±0.5D)明显低于对照组配戴角膜塑形镜6mo时的角膜曲率(41.3±0.9D),且组间差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05);在戴镜3mo时观察角膜上皮染色率,观察组上皮染色率阳性占49%(44/90),对照组上皮染色率阳性占29%(26/90),两组均以0级、1级为主;随着角膜塑形镜配戴时间延长,两组患者的SE水平都呈下降趋势,且均明显低于配戴之前。配戴6mo时观察组SE水平(-0.42±0.20D)明显低于对照组SE水平(-0.52±0.19D),差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05);两组患者配戴角膜塑形镜后UCVA值明显升高,且与配戴前相比差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论:配戴角膜塑形镜可降低近视度数,提高视力,且夜间配戴效果相对优于白天配戴。 展开更多

AIM: To explore whether acute cellular DNA damage response is induced upon hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection and the effects of the HBV infection.METHODS: We incubated HL7702 hepatocytes with HBV-positive serum,mimicking a natural HBV infection process.We used immunoblotting to evaluate protein expression levels in HBV-infected cells or in non-infected cells; immunofluorescence to show ATR foci ands Chk1 phosphorylation foci formation; flow cytometry to analyze the cell cycle and apoptosis; ultraviolet (UV) radiation and ionizing radiation (IR)-treated cells to mimic DNA damage; and Trypan blue staining to count the viable cells.RESULTS: We found that HBV infection induced an increased steady state of ATR protein and increased phosphorylation of multiple downstream targets including Chk1,p53 and H2AX.In contrast to ATR and its target,the phosphorylated form of ATM at Ser-1981 and its downstream substrate Chk2 phosphorylation at Thr-68 did not visibly increase upon infection.However,the level of Mre11 and p21 were reduced beginning at 0.5 h after HBV-positive serum addition.Also,HBV infection led to transient cell cycle arrest in the S and the G2 phases without accompanying increased apoptosis.Research on cell survival changes upon radiation following HBV infection showed that survival of UV-treated host cells was greatly increased by HBV infection,owing to the reduced apoptosis.Meanwhile,survival of IR-treated host cells was reduced by HBV infection.CONCLUSION: HBV infection activates ATR DNA damage response to replication stress and abrogates the checkpoint signaling controlled by DNA damage response. 展开更多

Objective visual quality one year after toric IOL implantation for correction of moderate and high corneal astigmatism 被引量:2

AIM:To compare the objective visual quality after implantation of a toric intraocular lens(IOL)in order to correct moderate or high corneal astigmatism at the one year postoperative follow-up.METHODS:From December 2017 to June 2018,66 patients(90 eyes)with simple age-related cataract with regular corneal astigmatism greater than 1.5 D were enrolled in this prospective self-control study.The patients were implanted with Proming?toric IOL(model:AT3 BH-AT6 BH).The subjects were divided into moderate astigmatism group(46 eyes,1.5-2.5 D)and high astigmatism group(44 eyes,>2.5 D).The uncorrected distance visual acuity,residual astigmatism and axial position of IOL were observed before operation,3,6 mo and 1 y after operation.Modulation transfer function cutoff(MTF cutoff),Strehl ratio(SR),object scatter index(OSI)were observed by OQAS II to evaluate the objective visual quality of patients.RESULTS:There was no significant difference in UCVA,residual astigmatism,axial deviation,MTF cutoff,SR and OSI between moderate and high astigmatism group(all P>0.05).After 3 mo,UCVA,MTF cutoff and SR were significantly increased(all P<0.05),residual astigmatism and OSI were significantly decreased(all P<0.05).After 3 mo,all the indexes remained stable.CONCLUSION:Proming toric IOL can effectively treat age-related cataract patients with moderate-to-high regular corneal astigmatism,correcting corneal astigmatism,improving UCVA,ensuring long-term stability in the capsule,and providing patients with better visual quality. 展开更多

The wood sorrel family,Oxalidaceae,is mainly composed of annual or perennial herbs,a few shrubs,and trees distributed from temperate to tropical zones.Members of Oxalidaceae are of high medicinal,ornamental,and economic value.Despite the rich diversity and value of Oxalidaceae,few molecular markers or plastomes are available for phylogenetic analysis of the family.Here,we reported four new whole plastomes of Oxalidaceae and compared them with plastomes of three species in the family,as well as the plastome of Rourea microphylla in the closely related family Connaraceae.The eight plastomes ranged in length from 150,673 bp(Biophytum sensitivum)to 156,609 bp(R.microphylla).Genome annotations revealed a total of 129e131 genes,including 83e84 protein-coding genes,eight rRNA genes,37 tRNA genes,and two to three pseudogenes.Comparative analyses showed that the plastomes of these species have minor variations at the gene level.The smaller plastomes of herbs B.sensitivum and three Oxalis species are associated with variations in IR region sizes,intergenic region variation,and gene or intron loss.We identified sequences with high variation that may serve as molecular markers in taxonomic studies of Oxalidaceae.The phylogenetic trees of selected superrosid representatives based on 76 protein-coding genes corroborated the Oxalidaceae position in Oxalidales and supported it as a sister to Connaraceae.Our research also supported the monophyly of the COM(Celastrales,Oxalidales,and Malpighiales)clade. 展开更多

The rapidly increasing production of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)and their limited service time increases the number of spent LIBs,eventually causing serious environmental issues and resource wastage.From the perspectives of clean production and the development of the LIB industry,the effective recovery and recycling of spent LIBs require urgent solutions.This study provides an overview of the current hydrometallurgical processes employed in the recycling of spent cathode materials,focusing on the leaching of valuable metals and their postprocessing.In particular,this research reviews the various leaching systems(inorganic acid,organic acid,and ammonia)and the separation of valuable metals,and then,recommendations for subsequent study are offered in an attempt to contribute to the development of highly efficient methods for recycling spent cathode materials.In addition,a range of existing technologies,such as solvent extraction,chemical precipitation,electrochemical deposition,and regeneration,for the postprocessing of leaching solutions are summarized.Finally,the promising technologies,existing challenges and suggestions with respect to the development of effective and environmentally friendly recycling methods for handling spent cathode materials are identified. 展开更多

目的:比较三焦点人工晶状体(IOL) (Zeiss 839)及双焦点IOL(Zeiss 809)植入术后视力及视觉质量。方法:回顾性研究。选取2017年8月至2019年1月中国中医科学院眼科医院行白内障手术患者54例(83眼)。其中植入三焦点Zeiss 839 IOL(839组)28例... 目的:比较三焦点人工晶状体(IOL) (Zeiss 839)及双焦点IOL(Zeiss 809)植入术后视力及视觉质量。方法:回顾性研究。选取2017年8月至2019年1月中国中医科学院眼科医院行白内障手术患者54例(83眼)。其中植入三焦点Zeiss 839 IOL(839组)28例(42眼),植入双焦点Zeiss 809 IOL(809组)26例(41眼)。对比2组术后1周、1个月、3个月裸眼视力,客观视觉质量分析仪分析客观散射指数(OSI)、传递函数截止频率(MTF cutoff)、斯特列尔比值(SR)、模拟对比度视力(PVA100%、PVA20%、PVA9%),术后3个月离焦曲线及进行问卷调查。数据采用配对样本 t检验及重复测量方差分析。 结果:术后1、3个月839组裸眼远视力优于809组,术后各观察时间中距离视力优于809组,差异均有统计学意义( P<0.05),术后裸眼近视力2组差异无统计学意义。术后2组OSI、MTF cutoff、SR、PVA100%、PVA20%、PVA9%差异均无统计学意义。离焦曲线示839组波形较平稳且在-3^-1 D范围内居于高位。术后3个月839组与809组眩光发生率、明暗视觉适应力、脱镜率、满意度分别为2%和7%、93%和88%、98%和78%、90%和85%。 结论:Zeiss 839 IOL和Zeiss 809 IOL均具有较好的远、近视力及视觉质量,Zeiss 839具有出色的中距离视力、高脱镜率及更佳的满意度。 展开更多

The aim of this study was to understand the characteristics of blood pressure(BP)variability in subjects with diabetic nephropathy(DN),and identify the probable predictors affecting BP variability.Fifty-one chronic kidney disease(CKD)-hypertensive patients without diabetes(NDN group)and sixty type 2 diabetic patients with overt DN(DN group)were enrolled in this study.The values of short-term BP variability were obtained from 24 h ambulatory BP monitoring(ABPM).Variance analysis or nonparametric analysis revealed that 24-h systolic BP variability and nighttime systolic BP variability of the DN group were significantly higher than those of the NDN group[(12.23±3.66)vs.(10.74±3.83)mmHg,P<0.05;(11.23±4.82)vs.(9.48±3.69)mmHg,P<0.05].Then the patients of the DN group were divided into two groups according to glycated hemoglobin(HbA1c)level:Group A(HbA1c<7%)and Group B(HbA1c≥7%),and the t-test showed that patients in Group B had larger 24-h diastolic,daytime diastolic,and nighttime systolic/diastolic BP variability compared with Group A.In the DN group,partial correlation analysis revealed that HbA1c exhibited a strong association with 24-h diastolic,daytime diastolic,nighttime systolic and diastolic BP variability(P<0.001,P<0.001,P<0.05,and P<0.001,respectively).Taken together,larger short-term BP variability was detected in hypertensive type 2 diabetic patients with overt nephropathy and renal insufficiency.It may imply that the optimal BP variability level could benefit from a better glycaemic control. 展开更多

Natural killer (NK) cells are a major component of the host innate immune defense against various pathogens. Several viruses, including hepatitis C virus (HCV), have developed strategies to evade the NK-cell response. In our study, we found HCV infection could trigger DNA damage response by both ataxia telangiectasia mutated (ATM) and ATM- and Rad3-related (ATR) pathways. Recent reports had revealed that NKG2D ligands (NK cell- activating ligands) were upregulated when a major DNA damage checkpoint pathway was activated. However, here we found that DNA damage response was activated but NKG2D ligands were downregulated upon HCV infection. Further studies showed that the protease NS3/4A of HCV which had been shown relation with immune invasion contributed to the reduced expression of NKG2D ligands. Swine manure was typical for the combined pollution of heavy metals and antibiotics. The effects of widely used veterinary antibiotic chlortetracycline(CTC), Cu and their combination on swine manure anaerobic digestion performance and microbial community have never been investigated. Thus, four 2 L anaerobic digestion reactors were established including reactor A(control), B(CTC spiked by 0.5 g/kg dry weight, dw), C(Cu spiked by 5 g/kg dw) and D(combination of CTC, 0.5 g/kg dw, and Cu, 5 g/kg dw), and dynamics of bacterial and archaeal community structure was investigated using high throughput sequencing method. Results showed that addition of CTC and Cu separately could increase the total biogas production by21.6% and 15.8%, respectively, while combination of CTC and Cu severely inhibited anaerobic digestion(by 30.3%). Furthermore, corresponding to different stages and reactors, four kinds of microbes including bacteria and archaea were described in detail, and the effects of CTC, Cu and their combination mainly occurred at hydrolysis and acidification phases. The addition of Cu alone changed the dynamics of archaeal community significantly. It was genus Methanomassiliicoccus that dominated at the active methane production for A, B and D, while it was genus Methanobrevibacter and Methanoculleus for C. 展开更多

A novel inorganic-organic composite membrane,namely poly(vinylidene fluoride) PVDF-glass fiber(PGF) composite membrane,was prepared and reinforced by interfacial ultraviolet(UV)-grafting copolymerization to improve the interfacial bonding strength between the membrane layer and the glass fiber.The interfacial polymerization between inorganic-organic interfaces is a chemical cross-linking reaction that depends on the functionalized glass fiber with silane coupling(KH570) as the initiator and the polymer solution with acrylamide monomer(AM) as the grafting block.The Fourier transform infrared spectrometer-attenuated total reflectance(FTIR-ATR) spectra and the energy dispersive X-ray(EDX) pictures of the interface between the glass fiber and polymer matrix confirmed that the AM was grafted to the surface of the glass fiber fabric and that the grafting polymer was successfully embedded in the membrane matrix.The formation mechanisms,permeation,and anti-fouling performance of the PGF composite membrane were measured with different amounts of AM in the doping solutions.The results showed that the grafting composite membrane improved the interfacial bonding strength and permeability,and the peeling strength was improved by 32.6% for PGF composite membranes with an AM concentration at 2 wt.%. 展开更多

A cost sensitivity analysis was performed for an industrial membrane bioreactor to quantify the effects of hydraulic retention times and related operational parameters on cost.Different hydraulic retention times(72-24 h)were subjected to a flat-sheet membrane bioreactor updated from an existing 72 h oxidation ditch treating antibiotic production wastewater.Field experimental data from the membrane bioreactor,both full-scale(500 m/d)and pilot(1.0 m3/d),were used to calculate the net present value(NPV),incorporating both capital expenditure(CAPEX)and operating expenditure.The results showed that the tank cost was estimated above membrane cost in the 38.2%,where capital expenditure contributed 24.2%more than operational expenditure.Tank construction cost was decisive in determining the net present value contributed 62.1%to the capital expenditure.The membrane bioreactor has the advantage of a longer lifespan flat-sheet membrane,while flux decline was tolerable.The antibiotics decreased to 1.87±0.33 mg/L in the MBR effluent.The upgrade to the membrane bioreactor also benefited further treatments by 10.1%-44.7%lower direct investment. 展开更多

Background Antibiotics,a common strategy used for neonatal infection,show consistent effect on the gut microbiota of neonates.Supplementation with probiotics has become increasingly popular in mitigating the loss of the gut microbiota.However,no clear consensus recommending the use of probiotics in the infection of neonates currently exists.This study examined the effects of probiotics on the gut microbiota of infectious neonates when used concurrently with or during the recovery period following antibiotic therapy.Methods Fifty-five full-term neonates diagnosed with neonatal infections were divided into the following groups:NI(no intervention,antibiotic therapy only),PCA(probiotics used concurrently with antibiotics),and PAA(probiotics used after antibiotics).The NI group received antibiotic treatment(piperacillin–tazobactam)for 1 week and the PCA group received antibiotic treatment together with probiotics(Bifidobacterium longum,Lactobacillus acidophilus,and Enterococcus faecalis)for 1 week.The PAA group received antibiotic treatment for 1 week followed by probiotics for 1 week.Fecal samples were collected at four time nodes:newborn,1 week,2 weeks,and 42 days after birth.The composition of the gut microbiota was determined by the high-throughput sequencing of 16S rRNA amplicons.Results Antibiotic exposure was found to dramatically alter gut microbiota,with a significant decrease of Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus.The use of probiotics did not restore the overall diversity of the gut microbiota.However,using probiotics simultaneously with the antibiotics was found to be beneficial for the gut microbiota as compared to delaying the use of probiotics to follow treatment with antibiotics,particularly in promoting the abundance of Bifidobacterium.Conclusions These results suggest that the early use of probiotics may have a potential ability to remodel the gut microbiota during recovery from antibiotic treatment.However,further study is required to fully understand the long-term effects including the clinical benefits. 展开更多

The Environmental Kuznets Curve(EKC) model was applied to investigate the relationship between economic growth and water environment quality based on panel data of Taicang during 2010–2017. The typical inversed-U shaped relationship has been obtained between GDP(gross domestic product) and indicators of ammonia, total nitrogen(TN) and total phosphorus(TP), respectively. The EKC turning point appeared when the GDP per capita was around US$2270, which was much lower than those in some developed countries(US$11,200). However, the decoupling between chemical oxygen demand(COD) and GDP per capita occurred even before this period, which should be attributed to the strict COD emission regulation being implemented since 2010. Further, analysis based on the Tapio decoupling coefficient elasticity model analyzed the ammonia nitrogen and economic development of each industry. We found that the agriculture no-point was strong decoupling in 2011–2014, then came to Recessive decoupling. The domestic wastewater had been in a strong decoupling state;Both urban non-point and industry experienced expansive negative decoupling, due to strict policy that prioritizes the environment over development and the investment in improvement of environment and techniques, both of them gradually came to strong decoupling. The result demonstrated that the EKC turning point could be appear in earlier economic stage and the decoupling coefficient elasticity could be improved through taking strong regulation measures. 展开更多

Microwave(MW) hybrid processes are able to disrupt the flocculent structure of complex waste activated sludge,and help promote the recovery of phosphorus as struvite.In this study,to optimize struvite yield,(1) the characteristics of matter released in MW-hybrid treatments were compared,including MW,MW-acid,MW-alkali,MW-H2O2,and MW-H2O2- alkali.The results showed that selective release of carbon,nitrogen,phosphorus,Ca^2+,and Mg^2+ achieved by sludge pretreatment using MW-hybrid processes.MW-H2O2 is the recommended sludge pretreatment process for phosphorus recovery in the form of struvite.The ratio of Mg^2+:NH4^+-N:PO4^3--P was 1.2:2.9:1 in the supernatant.(2) To clarify the effects of organic matter on struvite recovery,the composition and molecular weight distribution of organic matters were analyzed.Low molecular weight COD was found to facilitate the removal rate of NH4^+-N and PO4^3-P via crystallization,and the amorphous struvite crystals(〈1 kDa) from the filtered solutions had high purity.Therefore,the present study reveals the necessity of taking into consideration the interference effect of high molecular weight organic matters during struvite crystallization from sewage sludge. 展开更多

An easy and effective method of silver nanoplate synthesis technique was created by reducing silver nitrate (AgNO3) with hydroxylamine hydrochloride (NH2OH·HCl) at room temperature. Silver nanoplates of various shapes, including triangular, truncated triangular, hexagonal, and truncated hexagonal, exhibit an average width and thickness of approximately 1 μm and 50 nm, respectively. Silver nanoparticles were acquired by placing polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) in the reaction solution. The produced silver nanoparticles are quasi-spherical in shape and - 100 nm in size. The catalytic activity in the thermal decomposition of ammonium perchlorate (AID) was distinguished by thermogravimetric (TG) analysis and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The outcomes reveal that the addition of silver nanoplates and nanoparticles diminishes the low decomposition temperature of AP by 7 and 14 ℃ and leads to a drop in the high decomposition temperature of AP by 60 and 110 ℃ and a rise in the total DSC heat release by 0.86 and 1.05 kJ.g^-1, respectively. 展开更多
