The resting potential is the potential difference that exists between the inner and outer sides of the cell membrane when the cell is not stimulated.The resting membrane potential is a key regulator of phenomena such ...The resting potential is the potential difference that exists between the inner and outer sides of the cell membrane when the cell is not stimulated.The resting membrane potential is a key regulator of phenomena such as cell proliferation,morphogenesis,migration and differentiation.In this paper,we proposed a model of electrified cell clusters that considers the resting potential of cell clusters in the resting state.By measuring the potential difference between the inner and outer sides of biological tissues,it is verified that the cell cluster has a negative potential difference when taking the outer potential as the reference.In the absence of external conductors,the tissue is electrically neutral;while in the presence of external conductors,the positive net charges escape freely under repulsive forces and the biological tissues form a negative electrical equilibrium system.The model proposed in this study explored the potential situation above the cellular level in the resting state,providing a new perspective for the research on resting potential.展开更多

The one-dimensional hot wire probe and the X-type probe are utilized to measur...The turbulent fluctuation and the rotation correction of wall function law are investigated in the entrance section of a rotating channel. The one-dimensional hot wire probe and the X-type probe are utilized to measure the boundary layer at four streamwise stations. Through the analysis on the boundary layer near the leading side and trailing side, it is found that the turbulent fluctuation is promoted in the trailing side whereas suppressed in the leading side. This difference is attributed to the Coriolis instability near the trailing side. In addition, considering the local rotation parameter Rc, whose maximum absolute value is 0.014, is larger than that in previous research, whose maximum value is 0.007, the whole process of the relaminarization is captured. To understand this phenomenon better, the effects of the generation term and the Coriolis term in the transport equation of the Reynolds stress are discussed. In addition, the rotation correction of the viscous-Coriolis region and the Coriolis region are discussed, a new revising method for the wall function is proposed.展开更多

The product was characterized by XR...Novel twin-Christmas tree-like PbWO4 microcrystals have been prepared via a convenient aqueous solution route at room temperature under the assistance of 13- cyclodextrin (13-CD). The product was characterized by XRD, EDX, SEM, TEM, UV-vis and PL and BET techniques. It was found that 13-CD plays an important role in the forming of twin-Christmas tree-like PbWO4 microcrystals. A five-step growth mechanism was proposed to explain the formation of such twin-Christmas tree-like structures. The photocatalytic performance of PbWO4 microcrystals was evaluated by measuring the decomposition rate of methylene blue (MB) and malachite green (MG) solution under the UV irradiation, and the photocatalytic results indicated that as-prepared PbWO4 microcrystals exhibit good and versatile photocatalytic activity as well as excellent recyclability.展开更多
