In order to study the underwater trajectory of the non-powered vehicle discharged from the broadside of the underwater platform, the simulation on the ascent process of non-powered vehicle was realized based on the mathematical model including the movement of the vehicle on the slope plate and in the seawater, the air chamber underwater working process etc. The simulation results show that the outlet speed and attitude of the vehicle meet the requirements of missile launching, the non-powered vehicle discharged from the broadside of the underwater platform is feasible. The simulation results with varying parameters show that the negative buoyancy of the vehicle imposes great impacts on the security of its discharge and the floating process, and the vehicle discharge depth is proportional to the floating time. The models and simulation result can be used in further research on the broadside discharging technology of the underwater platform. 展开更多

Members of the control group underwent lifestyle interventions, including dietary interventions and exercise prescriptions, while participants of the treatment group received both lifestyle interventions and oral administration of 300 mg berberine, three times daily for three months. Subsequently, the treatment group entered a washout period of two months, during which time the medication was stopped, and the lifestyle interventions continued. Following the washout period, the oral administration of berberine was resumed at the same dose and lasted for three months. Blood glucose parameters were evaluated after different treatment periods. Results: 1) Intra-group comparison: Following the first and the second treatment periods, the treatment group experienced a significant decrease in fasting plasma glucose (FPG), 2-hour PG (2hPG) based on oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT), HbA1c, and HOMA-IR (P < 0.05);for the control group, although the blood glucose parameters exhibited a downward trend, the differences lacked statistical significance. 2) Intergroup comparison: Compared to the control group, the treatment group showed a significant decline in the levels of FPG, 2hPG, and HbA1c, whereas the decrease in HOMA-IR had no statistical significance. 3) Safety evaluation: No serious adverse events occurred in either group. Conclusion: Berberine is safe and effective in controlling blood glucose levels in patients with prediabetes and deserves to be promoted in clinical practice.
展开更多

Flavonoids are polyphenolic secondary metabolites that function as signaling molecules, allopathic compounds, phytoalexins, detoxifying agents and antimicrobial defensive compounds in plants.Blast caused by the fungus Magnaporthe oryzae is a serious disease affecting rice cultivation. In this study,we revealed that a natural flavonoid, tangeretin, substantially delays the formation of M.oryzae appressoria and blocks the development of blast lesions on rice plants. Our data suggest that tangeretin has antioxidant activity that interferes with conidial cell death/ferroptosis,which is critical for M.oryzae pathogenicity.Tangeretin showed a ferroptosis inhibition efficacy comparable to the well-established liproxstatin-1.Furthermore,overexpression of the NADPH oxidases NOX1 or NOX2 significantly decreased sensitivity toward tangeretin treatment, suggesting Nox-mediated lipid peroxidation as a possible target for tangeretin in regulating redox signaling and ferroptosis in M.oryzae.Our nursery and field tests showed that application of tangeretin can effectively mitigate overall disease symptoms and prevent leaf blast. Our study reveals the plant-derived fungal ferroptosis inhibitor tangeretin as a potential and novel antifungal agrochemical for the sustainable prevention of the devastating blast disease in important cereal crops. 展开更多
