The effect of hot band annealing processes,namely simulating batch annealing and continuous annealing,on microstructure,texture,grain boundary character and r-value of ferritic stainless steel was investigated.The hot band displayed a highly elongated ribbon-like structure and a pronounced deformation texture.The fully recrystallized grains were observed after continuous annealing while the "typical" hot rolled structure was remained after batch annealing.Also,the α-fibre texture formed during hot rolling almost disappeared after continuous annealing and a weak γ-fibre texture was obtained.By contract,the α-fibre texture remained very stable after batch annealing.After cold rolling and recrystallization annealing,the favorable γ-fibre texture was achieved in the continuous annealed steel.Instead of forming the γ-fibre texture,the recrystallization texture was notably shifted toward {223}〈582〉 in the batch annealed steel.Finally,the improvement in drawability with high r-value and low Δr-value were also displayed in sheet through the initial continuous annealing process. 展开更多

A new resource-saving duplex stainless steel with composition of 19Cr-6Mn-1.0Mo-0.5Ni-0.5W-0.5Cu-0.2N has been developed,and the microstructure,mechanical properties and corrosion properties have been investigated.The results show that the alloy has a balanced ferrite-austenite relation,and the ferrite content rises with the solution treatment temperature.The designed alloy is free of precipitation of sigma phase when aged at 650,750 and 850 ℃ for 3 h,respectively,whereas a few Cr23C6 precipitates are found after being aged at 750 ℃ for 8 h.Charpy impact tests indicate that the impact energy of the alloy is 68,200 and 220 J at-40,0 and 25 ℃,respectively.The designed alloy solution treated at 1050 ℃ for 30 min has a much higher yield strength and similar corrosion resistance compared with those of AISI 304 austenitic stainless steel.Moreover,the production cost of the alloy is about $ 1000 per ton which is lower than that of AISI 304. 展开更多

借助Thermo-Calc热力学相图计算软件,开发了用于电梯的含氮节镍奥氏体不锈钢QN1701(12Cr17Mn7Ni2Cu2N),以代替443(019Cr21CuTi)超纯铁素体不锈钢。通过OM、SEM和电化学工作站等方法研究了QN1701和443不锈钢的组织及性能。N原子起着间隙... 借助Thermo-Calc热力学相图计算软件,开发了用于电梯的含氮节镍奥氏体不锈钢QN1701(12Cr17Mn7Ni2Cu2N),以代替443(019Cr21CuTi)超纯铁素体不锈钢。通过OM、SEM和电化学工作站等方法研究了QN1701和443不锈钢的组织及性能。N原子起着间隙固溶和细晶强化的作用,使QN1701不锈钢的屈服强度提高至400MPa以上,达到443不锈钢的1.32倍。QN1701不锈钢的点蚀电位为241mV,低于443不锈钢的289mV,但其点蚀速率为9.10g/(m^(2)·h),低于443不锈钢的14.58g/(m^(2)·h)。在电梯用研磨拉丝表面状态下,QN1701不锈钢在质量分数为10%NaCl中性盐雾和干湿循环盐雾等加速腐蚀试验中的耐蚀性能均优于443不锈钢。分析发现,443不锈钢添加一定量的Nb、Ti稳定化元素所生成的(Nb,Ti)(C,N)析出相经研磨拉丝处理后,暴露于表面或被拖拽后留下微坑,导致其耐蚀能力急剧下降。综上所述,相较443不锈钢,QN1701不锈钢具有强度更高、伸长率更大和在研磨拉丝表面状态下耐蚀性更好等特点,这对于电梯轻量化设计和长寿命具有重要价值。 展开更多
