The results showed CS could augment natural killer cellactivity. The dosedependent effect was found within the range of the dosage adopted for the tests (r=0. 984, P<O. 01, r=0. 988, P<0. 01) . Furthermore, the results suggested CS could also improve CD16marker expression on the surface of lymphocytes and the binding capacity of K56, cells. Cytotoxicity wasnot present when the peripheral blood mononuclear cells were co-incubated with CS. These results sug-gested CS could be exploited and utilized as a biological response modifier in the treatment of leukemia.展开更多
