The as-prepared copper powders were characterized by X-ray diffractometry and scanning electron microscopy, and then added into a 48# industrial white oil. Dispersion and wear properties of the compounded lubricating oil were tested. The results show that the copper powders prepared are of high purity, fine dispersibility with mean particle size of about 60 nm and with a narrow particle size distribution. The nanosized copper powders can be well dispersed in the lubricating oil. The addition of the copper powders obviously improves the anti-wear properties of the lubricating oil owing to their good self-repairing performance. Compared with 48# industrial white lubricating oil, the friction coefficient of GCr15 steel with the compounded oil containing 0.6% copper powders reduces by 0.07 and nearly no wear chippings are found in the scratches of the friction counter parts.展开更多

In atmosphere with a low content of H2 or without H2, cathodes based on redox-reversible Nb2TiO7 provide a promising alternative. The reversible changes between oxidized Nb2TiO7 and reduced Nbl.33Tio.6704 samples are systematically investigated after redox-cycling tests. The conductivities of Nb2TiO7 and reduced Nb1.33Tio.6704 are studied as a function of temperature and oxygen partial pressure and correlated with the electrochemical properties of the composite electrodes in a symmetric cell and SOE at 830 ℃. Steam electrolysis is then performed using an oxide-ion-conducting SOE based on a Nb1.33Ti0.6704 composite fuel electrode at 830 ℃. The current-voltage and impedance spectroscopy tests demonstrate that the reduction and activation of the fuel electrode is the main process at low voltage; however, the steam electrolysis dominates the entire process at high voltages. The Faradic efficiencies of steam electrolysis reach 98.9% when 3%H2O/Ar/4%H2 is introduced to the fuel electrode and 89% for that with introduction of 3%H2O/Ar.展开更多

In order to stabilize the cubic perovskite structure of BaFeO3-δ material at room temperature, iron was partially substituted by praseodymium. BaFe1-yPryO3-δ powders were synthesized by a solid state reaction method, and sintered samples were prepared from the synthesized BaFe1-yPryO3-δ powders. X-ray diffraction results reveal that the BaFe1-yPryO3-δ samples remain cubic structure at praseodymium substitution amount of y 0.05, 0.075, 0.1. Scanning electron microscope observation indicates that the sintered samples contain only a small amount of enclosed pores and the grain size of BaFe1-yPryO3-δ increase monotonically with the increase of the praseodymium doping amount, praseodymium doping promotes the grain size growth. Tests of electrical conductivity and oxygen permeation flux show that praseodymium doping improves the conduction properties of BaFe1-yPryO3-δ and BaFe0.9Pr0.1O3-δ composition has an electrical conductivity of 6.5 S/era and an oxygen permeation of 1.112 mL/(cm^2.min) at 900 ℃, respectively. High temperature XRD in- vestigation shows that the crystal structure of BaFe0.975Pr0.025O3-δ membrane completely transform to cubic phase at 700℃. The present test results have shown that partially substitution of Fe by praseodymium in BaFeO3 can stabilize the cubic structure and improve the properties.展开更多
