Methods: Patients who we...Objective: To study the effect of the preoperative docetaxel combined with Tegafur Gimeracil Oteracil Potassium (S-1) chemotherapy on the oncogene expression in advanced gastric cancer lesion. Methods: Patients who were diagnosed with advanced gastric cancer in Yidu First People's Hospital between April 2014 and January 2017 were selected as the research subjects and randomly divided into two groups, the DS group received preoperative docetaxel combined with S-1 neoadjuvant chemotherapy, and the control group accepted routine preoperative intervention. Surgically removed gastric cancer specimens were collected to determine the mRNA expression of tumor suppressor genes, proto-oncogene and invasion genes. Results:ING5, p16, Noxa and Bax mRNA expression in gastric cancer lesions of DS group were significantly higher than those of control group while PTP1B, CDC25B, UHRF1, HOXB7, c-myc, GOLPH3, Vav2, ELMO, ZEB1 and Rho-A mRNA expression were significantly lower than those of control group. Conclusion: Preoperative docetaxel combined with S-1 chemotherapy for advanced gastric cancer can increase the expression of tumor suppressor genes and inhibit the expression of proto-oncogene and aggression genes.展开更多
