The physicochemical properties of plasma-activated water(PAW)generated under different process conditions were investigated,and their changes under different storage conditions were also studied.The results showed tha...The physicochemical properties of plasma-activated water(PAW)generated under different process conditions were investigated,and their changes under different storage conditions were also studied.The results showed that increasing the processing time and power,and decreasing generated water volume,could cause an increase in the redox potential,conductivity,and temperature of PAW,and a decrease in its pH.A slower dissipation of the reactive oxygen and nitrogen species in PAW was found on storage at 4℃in a sealed conical flask than on storage at room temperature.The inactivation ability of plasma-activated lactic acid(LA)to Listeria monocytogenes(L.monocytogenes)and Pseudomonas aeruginosa(P.aeruginosa)was higher than that of PAW or LA alone under the same experimental conditions.The results of this study may provide theoretical information for the application of PAW as a potential antimicrobial agent in the future.展开更多

In order to study the high-efficiency disease-preventing crab pond intercropping mode,a...From 2015 to 2016,the hepatopancreatic lesion syndrome had a higher mortality rate,which caused great economic losses to farmers. In order to study the high-efficiency disease-preventing crab pond intercropping mode,an experiment was successfully conducted to intercrop Chinese sucker( Myxocyprinus asiaticus) in a crab pond in 2017. We optimized the traditional stocking mode,and mainly cultured river crabs when intercropping Chinese suckers. Meanwhile,the cultivation environment was strengthened,and the test pond was not affected by disease throughout the year. The results showed that the production benefits were river crab 115 620 yuan/hm^2,Chinese sucker 44 280 yuan/hm^2,and silver carp and bighead carp 5 418 yuan/hm^2,with a total output of 165 318 yuan/hm`2,and the output-input ratio was 1∶ 1. 72. The Chinese sucker-intercropping river crab culture mode promoted the improvement of pond culture environment,effectively controlled the occurrence of hepatopancreatic lesion syndrome,and significantly improved the economic benefits of crab pond culture.展开更多
In addition to their many well-known advantages(e.g.,ultra-high porosity,good pore size distribution,easy functionalization,and structural tolerability),metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)are a new class of advanced functi...In addition to their many well-known advantages(e.g.,ultra-high porosity,good pore size distribution,easy functionalization,and structural tolerability),metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)are a new class of advanced functional materials.However,their backbones are highly susceptible to deformation after exposure to acidic or alkaline conditions.As a result of lithium-ion batteries embedding or detaching directly from MOFs,they irreversibly collapse.As a result,they fail to maintain their electrochemical performance.These factors have hindered the development of MOFs as direct electrode materials,making the design of MOF materials with controlled morphology and stable dimensions a new challenge.In this study,we adopted a versatile and effective method to synthesize a novel MOF material(NiCo-BP(BP=BTC/phen and BTC=1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid))using the rigid ligands 1,10-phenanthroline and homobenzotrizoic acid,and the emergence of the Ni-O/N and Co-O/N coordination layers was observed by extended X-ray absorption fine structure(EXAFS)tests,indicating that Ni and Co were coordinated with heterocyclic N-given atoms to form a stable p-πconjugated structure.Meanwhile,the metal-ion is attached to the carboxylic acid ligand on the other side,making the metal-organic skeleton complete and robust.The nanosphere structure of NiCo-BP(~400 nm)allows for full exposure and utilisation of the active sites,especially the Ni,Co,and phenanthroline units,and exhibit impressively high specific capacity and cycling stability.At a high current density of 1.0 A·g^(−1),a high discharge specific capacity of 631.6 mAh·g^(−1)was obtained after 1000 cycles.The co-participation of two organic ligands in the coordination is in accordance with the theory of soft and hard acids and bases,which contributes to the ability of the material to maintain a high capacity in cycling as well as its cyclic stability.展开更多
Due to their unique properties and uninterrupted breakthrough in a myriad of clean energy-related applications,carbon-based materials have received great interest.However,the low selectivity and poor conductivity are ...Due to their unique properties and uninterrupted breakthrough in a myriad of clean energy-related applications,carbon-based materials have received great interest.However,the low selectivity and poor conductivity are two primary difficulties of traditional carbon-based materials(zero-dimensional(0D)/one-dimensional(1D)/two-dimensional(2D)),enerating inefficient hydrogen production and impeding the future commercialization of carbon-based materials.To improve hydrogen production,attempts are made to enlarge the surface area of porous three-dimensional(3D)carbon-based materials,achieve uniform interconnected porous channels,and enhance their stability,especially under extreme conditions.In this review,the structural advantages and performance improvements of porous carbon nanotubes(CNTs),g-C_(3)N_(4),covalent organic frameworks(COFs),metal-organic frameworks(MOFs),MXenes,and biomass-derived carbon-based materials are firstly summarized,followed by discussing the mechanisms involved and assessing the performance of the main hydrogen production methods.These include,for example,photo/electrocatalytic hydrogen production,release from methanolysis of sodium borohydride,methane decomposition,and pyrolysis-gasification.The role that the active sites of porous carbon-based materials play in promoting charge transport,and enhancing electrical conductivity and stability,in a hydrogen production process is discussed.The current challenges and future directions are also discussed to provide guidelines for the development of next-generation high-efficiency hydrogen 3D porous carbon-based materials prospected.展开更多

The combination of paclitaxel(PTX)and doxorubicin(DOX)has been widely used in the clinic.However,it remains unsatisfied due to the generation of severe toxicity.Previously,we have successfully synthesized a prodrug PT...The combination of paclitaxel(PTX)and doxorubicin(DOX)has been widely used in the clinic.However,it remains unsatisfied due to the generation of severe toxicity.Previously,we have successfully synthesized a prodrug PTX-S-DOX(PSD).The prodrug displayed comparable in vitro cytotoxicity compared with the mixture of free PTX and DOX.Thus,we speculated that it could be promising to improve the anti-cancer effect and reduce adverse effects by improving the pharmacokinetics behavior of PSD and enhancing tumor accumulation.Due to the fact that copper ions(Cu2+)could coordinate with the anthracene nucleus of DOX,we speculate that the prodrug PSD could be actively loaded into liposomes by Cu2+gradient.Hence,we designed a remote loading liposomal formulation of PSD(PSD LPs)for combination chemotherapy.The prepared PSD LPs displayed extended blood circulation,improved tumor accumulation,and more significant anti-tumor efficacy compared with PSD NPs.Furthermore,PSD LPs exhibited reduced cardiotoxicity and kidney damage compared with the physical mixture of Taxol and Doxil,indicating better safety.Therefore,this novel nano-platform provides a strategy to deliver doxorubicin with other poorly soluble antineoplastic drugs for combination therapy with high efficacy and low toxicity.展开更多

We derive analytically the probability density functions(PDFs) of the uncertainties of arbitrary qubit observables.Based on these PDFs, the uncertainty regions of the observables are characterized by the support of the PDFs. The state-independent uncertainty relations are then transformed into the optimization problems over uncertainty regions, which opens a new vista for studying stateindependent uncertainty relations. Our results may be generalized to multiple observable cases in higher dimensional spaces.展开更多
