However, the point insertion sequence has a great impact on the amount of work needed for the construction of DTs. It affects the time for both point location and structure update, and hence the overall computational time of the triangulation algorithm. In this paper, a simple deterministic insertion sequence is proposed based on the breadth-first-search on a Kd-tree with some minor modifications for better performance. Using parent nodes as search-hints, the proposed insertion sequence proves to be faster and more stable than the Hilbert curve order and biased randomized insertion order (BRIO), especially for non-uniform point distributions over a wide range of benchmark examples.展开更多
A 1.5 GHz passive third harmonic superconducting cavity was proposed to improve the beam quality and lifetime in the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility Phase-II beamline project.Lifetime improvement highly depend...A 1.5 GHz passive third harmonic superconducting cavity was proposed to improve the beam quality and lifetime in the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility Phase-II beamline project.Lifetime improvement highly depends on the resonant frequency of the passive third harmonic superconducting cavity.It is important that the operating frequency of the cavity is within the design range and the cavity has reasonable mechanical stability.A simulation method for the multiphysics coupled analysis has been developed based on the ANSYS code.Multiphysics coupled simulations have been performed under different conditions,such as etching,evacuation,cooling,and preloading.Analyses of mechanical modes and structural stress have been executed.A possible stiffening ring method for the two-cell superconducting niobium cavity has been investigated.In this paper,we present a multiphysics coupled analysis of the third harmonic cavity using a finite element analysis code.The results of the analysis show that a reliable frequency for the cavity after electron beam welding is 1498.033 MHz,and the corresponding frequency of the pre-tuning goal is 1496.163 MHz.A naked cavity is a reasonable option based on structural stress and mechanical modal analyses.A frequency range of±500 kHz and limiting tolerable displacement of±0.35 mm are proposed for the design of the frequency tuner.展开更多

The method first selects a patch of mesh around an irregular node. It then seeks the best connection of the selected patch according to its irregular valence using a new topological operation: small polygon reconnection (SPR). Three applications based on the proposed approach are enumerated: (1) improving the quality of a quadrilateral mesh, (2) converting a triangular mesh to a quadrilateral one, and (3) adapting a triangle generator to a quadrilateral one. Softwood(pine wood(PW)), hardwoods(...A simple and efficient method of enhancing biomass saccharification by microwave-assisted pretreatment with dimethyl sulfoxide/1-allyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride is proposed. Softwood(pine wood(PW)), hardwoods(poplar wood, catalpa bungi, and Chinese parasol), and agricultural wastes(rice straw, wheat straw, and corn stover(CS)) were exploited. Results showed that the best pretreatment effect was in PW with 54.3% and 31.7% dissolution and extraction ratios, respectively. The crystal form of cellulose in PW extract transformed from I to II, and the contended cellulose ratio and glucose conversion ratio reached 85.1% and 85.4%, respectively. CS after steam explosion achieved a similar pretreating effect as PW, with its cellulose hydrolysis ratio reaching as high as 91.5% after IL pretreatment.展开更多
