The Tiegelongnan Cu(Au,Ag)deposit in central Tibet contains more than 10 Mt of copper ranking 29 th in the world.It is characterized by typical porphyry-epithermal alteration and mineralization.In order to improve the understanding of porphyry-epithermal copper deposit in Tibet,new zircon U-Pb age and sulfur isotope data along with published data in the Tiegelongnan are presented to investigate the formation and preservation mechanism.Ore-related intrusive rocks in the Tiegelongnan including Early Cretaceous(about 120 Ma)granodiorite porphyry and diorite porphyry are closely related to the northward subduction of Bangongco-Nujiang ocean.Sulfur mainly comes from deep magma,and ore-forming fluid is affected by both magmatic and meteoric water.The metallogenic setting of Tiegelongnan is consistent with those of Andean porphyry copper deposits in South America.The cover of the Meiriqiecuo Formation volcanic rocks,Lhasa-Qiangtang collision and India-Eurasian collision have significance in the preservation and uplift of the deposit.The formation,preservation and discovery of Tiegelongnan play an important role in exploration of ancient porphyry-epithermal deposits in Tibet. 展开更多

The productivity of the chrome-containing semi-steel converter smelting process is directly affected by the slag-forming speed during the converter preliminary stage.The effects of Cr_(2)O_(3) content on the physicochemical properties of the CaO-SiO_(2)-Fe_(t)O-MgO system,such as melting temperature,solidification behavior,mineral composition,and lime dissolution rate,were studied.The results showed that the slag was an amorphous phase at 1500℃.When Cr_(2)O_(3) was added,Ca(Fe,Mg)Si_(2)O_(6) and spinel were formed in the slag.With the increase in Cr_(2)O_(3) content,the amount of spinel precipitation increased,and the dendritic FegO_(4) crystal gradually changed into the granular(Fe,Mg)(Fe,Cr)2O_(4) crystal.As the Cr_(2)O_(3) content increased from O to 2.91 wt.%,the melting temperature of the slag rose,and the melting range of the slag expanded slightly,but the lime dissolution rate did not change.When the Cr_(2)O_(3) content further increased to 9.09 wt.%,the melting temperature continued to rise,the melting range rapidly expanded,and the lime dissolution rate decreased. 展开更多

Synthetic slag samples of the CaO-SiO2-MgO-A1203-Cr203 system were obtained to clarify the effect of FeO on the formation of spinel phases and Cr distribution. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) equipped with energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), as well as the thermodynamic software FactSage 6.2, were used for sample characterization. The results show that the addition of FeO can decrease the viscosity of molten slag and the precipitation temperatures of melilite and merwinite. The solidus temperature significantly decreases from 1400 to 1250℃ with the increase of FeO content from 0wt% to 6wt%. The addition of FeO could enhance the content of Cr in spinel phases and reduce the content of Cr in soluble minerals, such as merwinite, melilite, and dicalcium silicate. Hence, the addition of FeO is conducive to decreasing Cr leaching. 展开更多

The stability of chromium in stainless steel slag can be enhanced by increasing the spinel crystal size. The effect of Fe2O3 on the size of spinel crystals in the CaO–SiO2–MgO–Al2O3–Cr2O3 system was investigated using lab experiments carried out in a carbon tube fur-nace. Scanning electron microscopy with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM–EDS) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) were used to ana-lyze the microstructure, components, and the mineral phases of synthetic slags. FactSage 7.1 was used to calculate the crystallization process of the molten slag. The results showed that the addition of Fe2O3 promoted the precipitation of spinel crystals and inhibited the formation of dicalcium silicate. The size of spinel crystals increased from 2.74 to 8.10μm and the contents of chromium and iron in the spinel varied as the Fe2O3 addition was increased from 0 to 20wt%. Fe2O3 thermodynamically provided the spinel-forming components to enhance the for-mation of FeCr2O4, MgFe2O4, and Fe3O4. The addition of Fe2O3 increased the fraction of liquid phase in a certain temperature range and promoted diffusion by decreasing the slag's viscosity. Therefore, Fe2O3 is beneficial to the growth of spinel crystals in stainless steel slag. 展开更多

The inclusion behaviors of three native or modified CDs including p-CD,2-hydroxypropyl-β-CD(2-Hp-β-CD) and 2,6-dimethyl-β-CD(Me-β-CD) toward 5-amino-6-methyl-2-benzimidazolone(AMBI) were comparatively investigated by NMR and fluorescence titration in combination with IR spectra,X-ray diffractometry and scanning electron microphotographs.The experimental results jointly demonstrated that the phenyl ring of AMBI entered into the cavity of the CDs and located close to the narrow rims accompanied by the formation of the 1:1 inclusion complex with large stability constant in aqueous solution.The introduction of the hydroxypropyl unit to the host improved the solubility,ultimately effecting an obvious promoting in the fluorescence intensity and the stability constant 展开更多

The inclusion characteristics in extra low-carbon ferromanganese(ELC-FeMn),low-carbon ferromanganese(LC-FeMn),mid-carbon ferromanganese(MC-FeMn),and high-carbon ferromanganese(HC-FeMn)were evaluated by scanning electron microscopy coupled with energy dispersive spectroscopy.The effect of FeMn alloys on the cleanliness of transformation-induced plasticity(TRIP)steel was studied based on laboratory-scale experiments and thermodynamic calculations.The results show that the main inclusions in ELC-FeMn are MnO-MnS and MnS,and the dominant inclusions in LC-FeMn and MC-FeMn are MnO,MnO-SiO_(2),and MnO-SiO_(2)-MnS.The inclusions in HC-FeMn are diversified.Besides MnO-SiO_(2)inclusion,a certain number of Al-,Si-,and Ti-containing inclusions and enrichment phases of Pb,Sn,and P are observed in HC-FeMn.Before FeMn alloy addition,the main inclusion in steel is Al2O.After alloying with the four different grades of FeMn alloy,the main inclusions in TRIP steel are Al_(2)O_(3),AIN,MnS,AlO3-AIN,AINMnS,and Al_(2)O_(3)-MnS.The MnO and SiO_(2)inclusions from FeMn alloys are not detected in TRIP steel. 展开更多

The reduction of zinc and iron oxides from electric arc furnace dust (EAFD) by carbon was investigated at temperatures between 800 and 1300℃. The analytic technique employed includes chemical analysis, X-ray fluores- cence spectroscopy (XRF), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) equipped with X-ray energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS), and thermodynamic database FactSage 6.2. It was found that the reduction of zinc and iron oxides depends largely on Boudouad reaction. At 900℃, zinc exists in tested samples as ZnO, which is reduced in the temperature range of 1000--1 100℃. At 1 100℃, 99.11% of the zinc is evaporated. The metallization ratio of Fe is 79.19% at 1300℃, as the content of Fe2+ is still 9.40%. A higher temperature is thus required for a higher reduction degree of Fe oxides by solid or gaseous carbon. 展开更多

Prominent high sensitivity, selectivity and antiinterference OCl-induced fluorescence and color change over a wide range of tested metal ions performance were observed for each probe under physiological conditions, thus making the probes well suitable for sensing of OCl in living cells. 展开更多

Over past decades plant tissue culture has emerged as an alternative of whole plant cultivation in the production of valuable secondary metabolites.Adventitious roots culture of Panax ginseng and Echinacea purpure has reached the scale of 1-10 kL.Some molecular biological techniques,such as transgenic technology and genetic stability are increasingly used in the studies on plant tissue cultures.The studies on elicitors have deepened into the induction mechanism,including signal molecules,functional genes,and so on.More and more biological elicitors,such as A.niger and yeast are used to increase the active compounds in plant tissue cultures.We also discussed the application of synthetic biology in the studies on biosynthesis of artemisinin,paclitaxel,and tanshinon.The studies on active ingredients biosynthesis of medicinal plants provide unprecedented possibilities to achieve mass production of active ingredients.Plant tissue cultures can not only produce active ingredients but also as experimental materials for biosynthesis.In order to improve the contents of active compounds in medicinal plants,following aspects could be carried out gene interference or gene silencing,gene overexpression,combination with chemical synthesis,application of elicitors,and site-directed mutagenesis of the key enzymes. 展开更多

To investigate the evolutionary behavior of the MnO–SiO_(2)–Al_(2)O_(3)–MgO inclusions during heat treatment,water quenched samples were isothermally held at 1100°C for 120 min in Ar and air atmosphere,and the obtaining samples were analyzed by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectrometer.It showed that 3MnO·Al_(2)O_(3)·3SiO_(2)and MnO·SiO_(2)were detected in the 5 wt.%MgO system after isothermal holding in Ar atmosphere,while MgO·Al_(2)O_(3),MnO·SiO_(2)and Mn7O8·SiO4 were detected in air atmosphere.The evolutionary behavior of the 10,15 and 20 wt.%MgO systems after isothermal holding in different atmosphere were consistent.Oxygen affected the solid phase transformation of the low MgO content systems.The calculation results of FactSage 8.1 showed that MgO·Al_(2)O_(3)was formed in the 5 wt.%MgO system with air atmosphere.The solid phase transformation was accompanied by grain coarsening during the isothermal holding process.The differences in the solid phase transformation in different atmosphere of the 5 wt.%MgO system indicated that it was a gas-phase transport grain coarsening mechanism.The enrichment of Al element in the liquid phase region at the grain edges,the homogeneous distribution of Mg element and the disappearance of the liquid phase within the crystal revealed that other MgO content systems were liquid–solid transport grain coarsening mechanism. 展开更多
