Objective This study aimed to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of foldable capsular vitreous body(FCVB)implant surgery in silicone oil-dependent eyes.Methods A total of 22 participants with silicone oil-dependent eyes who received treatment with FCVB implant surgery between January 2019 and June 2020 were included in this retrospective study.The intraocular pressure(IOP),best-corrected visual acuity(BCVA),demographic data,and any recorded complications were evaluated.Results The postoperative IOP(12.73±4.20 mmHg)was significantly improved(P=0.03)compared to the preoperative IOP(10.23±3.69 mmHg)(the main endpoint).There was no significant difference(P=0.33)in the final BCVA preoperation and 3rd month postoperation(the secondary endpoint).The most common postoperative complication was hyphema.Other common postoperative complications included corneal opacity,a shallow anterior chamber,and a low IOP.Conclusion FCVB implant surgery is a safe and effective method for treating silicone oil-dependent eyes;however,attention should be paid to the prevention and timely treatment of complications. 展开更多

The role of heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) in apoptosis of human retinal pigment epithelial cells (ARPE-19) induced by 4-hydroxy-2-nonenal (4-HNE) was explored. Different concentrations of 4-HNE were used to stimulate ARPE-19 cells, and apoptosis was measured by flow cytometry. The expression of apoptotic-related proteins, HSP70, X-linked inhibitorof- apoptosis (XIAP), Bcl-2, and Bax were quantified by Western blotting. HSP70 and XIAP overexpression plasmids, or their corresponding siRNAs were transfected into ARPE-19 cells using Lipofectamine. 2000. Co-immunoprecipitation and Western blotting were used to detect the effect of 4-HNE on the expression of HSP70 and the binding level between 4-HNE and HSP70. The results showed that 4-HNE induced late apoptosis in ARPE-19 cells, accompanied by elevated levels of 4-HNE-modified IISP70, but it did not affect HSP70 protein expression. 4-HNE-modified HSP70 down-regulated the expression of the apoptosis inhibitory protein XIAP. Overexpression of HSP70 or XIAP inhibited 4-HNE-induced apoptosis of ARPE-19 cells. It was suggested that 4-HNE could promote XIAP degradation by modification of HSP70 to induce late apoptosis of human retinal pigment epithelial cells. 展开更多

The effect of particle size distribution on the microstructure,texture,and mechanical properties of Al–Mg–Si–Cu alloy was investigated on the basis of the mechanical properties,microstructure,and texture of the alloy.The results show that the particle size distribution influences the microstructure and the final mechanical properties but only slightly influences the recrystallization texture.After the pre-aging treatment and natural aging treatment(T4 P treatment),in contrast to the sheet with a uniform particle size distribution,the sheet with a bimodal particle size distribution of large constituent particles and small dispersoids exhibits higher strength and a somewhat lower plastic strain ratio(r) and strain hardening exponent(n).After solution treatment,the sheet with a bimodal particle size distribution of large constituent particles and small dispersoids possesses a finer and slightly elongated grain structure compared with the sheet with a uniform particle size distribution.Additionally,they possess almost identical weak recrystallization textures,and their textures are dominated by CubeND {001}<310> and P {011}<122> orientations. 展开更多

We systematically investigate the four-wave mixing(FWM)spectrum in a dual-cavity hybrid optomechanical system,which is made up of one optical cavity with an ensemble of two-level atoms and another with a mechanical oscillator.In this work,we propose that the hybrid dual-cavity optomechanical system can be employed as a highly sensitive mass sensor due to the fact that the FWM spectrum generated in this system has a narrow spectral width and the intensity of the FWM can be easily tuned by controlling the coupling strength(cavity-cavity,atom-cavity).More fascinatingly,the dual-cavity hybrid optomechanical system can also be used as an all-optical switch in view of the easy on/off control of FWM signals by adjusting the atom-pump detuning to be positive or negative.The proposed schemes have great potential applications in quantum information processing and highly sensitive detection. 展开更多

In this study,we analyze the rare decays of the neutral vector mesons J/ψ and Υ(nS)in the scenario of the minimal R-symmetric supersymmetric standard model using the effective Lagrangian method.The predicted branching ratios are dominated by the mass insertion parameters δ^(ij),i.e.,the off-diagonal inputs,and the contributions of different parts are comparable.Taking into account the experimental constraints on the mass insertion parameters,the predicted branching ratios for the most promising processes Υ(nS)→lτ are ten orders of magnitude smaller than the present experimental bounds. 展开更多

We theoretically study the four-wave mixing(FWM)response in a quantum dot-cavity coupling system,where a two-level quantum dot(QD)is placed in an optical cavity while the cavity mode is coupled to the nanomechanical resonator via radiation pressure.The influences of the QD-cavity coupling strength,the Rabi coupling strength of the QD,and the power of the pump light on the FWM intensity are mainly considered.The numerical results show that the FWM intensity in this hybrid system can be significantly enhanced by increasing the QD-cavity coupling strength.In addition,the FWM intensity can be effectively modulated by the Rabi coupling strength and the pump power.Furthermore,the effects of the cavity decay rate and the cavitypump detuning on the FWM signal are also explored.The obtained results may have potential applications in the fields of quantum optics and quantum information science. 展开更多

LFV decays of Z boson in Minimal R-symmetric Supersymmetric Standard Model

A future Z-factory will offer the possibility of studying rare Z decays Z → l_1l_2, such as those leading to lepton flavor violation(LFV) final states. In this work, by considering the constraints from radiative two-body decays l_2→ l_1γ, we investigate the LFV decays Z → l_1l_2 in the framework of the Minimal R-symmetric Supersymmetric Standard Model with two benchmark points from the existing literature. The flavor-violating off-diagonal entries Б^(12), Б^(13) and Б^(23) are constrained by the current experimental bounds of l_2→ l_1γ. Considering recent experimental constraints, we also investigate Br(Z → l_1l_2) as a function of M_D^W. The numerical results show that the theoretical predictions of Br( Z → l_1l_2) in the MRSSM are several orders of magnitude below the current experimental bounds. The LFV decays Z → eτ and Z →μт may be promising observation targets in future experiments. 展开更多

Applying the effective Lagrangian method,we study the flavor changing neutral current process b→sγwithin the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model,where baryon and lepton numbers are local gauge symmetries.Constraints on the parameters are investigated numerically with the experimental data for the branching ratioof B→X_(s)γAdditionally,we present the corrections to direct CP-violation in B→X_(s)γand time-de-pendent CP-asymmetry in B→K*γ.With appropriate assumptions on the parameters,we find the direct CP-viola-tion Acp is very small,while one-loop contributions to S K*γcan be significant. 展开更多
