The objective of this study was to clarify the distribution and stability of WSAs and the soil organic carbon (SOC), the total nitrogen (TN), and the total phosphorus (TP) concentrations in 0 - 20 cm and 20 - 40 cm soil layers under the different ages of Robinia pseudoacacia plantations. The 20, 25, 40, and 50 years-old Robinia pseudoacacia plantations were selected. Stepwise regression analysis showed that >5 mm and 1 - 2 mm WSAs, SOC concentration in 2 - 5 mm WSAs, and TN and TP concentrations in < 0.25 mm WSAs were dominant independent variables affecting aggregate stability and that SOC in 0.25 - 0.5 mm WSAs, TN in <0.25 mm and 1 - 2 mm WSAs and TP in 2 - 5 mm WSAs were dominant independent variables affecting SOC, TN, and TP concentrations in bulk soils.展开更多

The effect of bubble injecting frequency and the distance S between the gas injection nozzle and the wall on the statistical trajectory of bubbles, average velocity distribution of flow field and Reynolds shear stress were studied in detail. It was shown that the combination of bubble injecting frequency and the distance S caused different bubble motion forms and hydrodynamic characteristics. When the normalized initial distance was very little, like S*≈ 1.2(here S*= 2S/d_e, and deis the bubble equivalent diameter), bubbles ascended in a zigzag trajectory with alternant structure of high and low speed flow field around the bubbles, and the distribution of positive and negative Reynolds shear stress looked like a blob. With the increase of distance S*, bubbles' trajectory would tend to be smooth and straight from the zigzag curve. Meanwhile, with the increase of bubble injecting frequency, the camber of bubble trajectory at 20<y<60 mm had a slight increase due to the inhibitory effect from the vertical wall. Under larger spacing, such as S*≈ 3.6, the low-frequency bubbles gradually moved away from the vertical plane wall in a straight trajectory and the high-frequency bubbles gradually moved close to the vertical wall in a similar straight trajectory after an unstable camber motion. Under the circumstances, high-speed fluid was mainly distributed in the region between the wall and the bubbles, while the relative large Reynolds shear stress mainly existed in the region far away from the wall.展开更多

The effects of the biosorbent concentration, the initial pH value and the temperature on the biosorption of Cu(Ⅱ) and Fe(Ⅲ) by the SRB were investigated. FTIR analysis verified that the hydroxyl, carbonyl and amine functional groups of the SRB biosorbent were involved in the biosorption process. For both Cu(Ⅱ) and Fe(Ⅲ), an increase in the SRB biosorbent concentration resulted in an increase in the removal percentage but a decrease in the amount of specific metal biosorption. The maximum specific metal biosorption was 93.25 mg·g^-1 at pH 4.5 for Cu(Ⅱ) and 88.29 mg· g^-1 at pH 3.5 for Fe(Ⅲ). The temperature did not have a significant effect on biosorption. In a binary metal system, the specific biosorption capacity for the target metal decreased when another metal ion was added. For both the single metal and binary metal systems, the biosorption of Cu(Ⅱ) and Fe(Ⅲ) onto a SRB biosorbent was better represented by a Langmuir model than by a Freundlich model.展开更多

文摘This paper reports the treatment of eight cases with toe ulcers. The eight patients received nursing treatments, including debridement,dressings,decompression,anti-fungal management, and education from specialist nurses. The patients were also given drugs to control glucose, nourish the nerve, and improve blood circulation of the lower extremities. The toe ulcers of the eight diabetic patients healed after 42e168 days[average 85±36 days].Thus far,few studies have focused on diabetic toe ulcers.Timely identification of risk factors and regular toe care could decrease the prevalence of toe ulcers and shorten the recovery time in patients with diabetic mellitus.Hence, these patients must be diagnosis and treated early. Results suggest that feet, particularly toes, should be inspected and cared for regularly in diabetic patients.

文摘High-purity magnesium(HP Mg)and Mg-1Ca,as representations of Mg-matrix implants produced by purifying and alloying, are employed in biomedical applications primarily because of their bioactivity and degradability. The superiority of both degradation properties, the match between degradation and osteo-genesis in vivo, and biosafety are critical problems that will decide future purifying or alloying to construct Mg-based implants and promote clinical translation. The present study investigated the benefits and limitations of degradation behavior and biosafety of HP Mg and Mg-1Ca according to the electro-chemical experiment, hydrogen evolution test, immersion test, and in vivo bone implantation assay. The results indicated that due to its Mg 2 Ca phase,Mg-1Ca exhibited a considerably higher corrosion current density and hydrogen production than HP Mg in vitro.Furthermore,HP Mg and Mg-1Ca display a favorable match between their degradation and the surrounding osteogenesis, resulting in no significant variation in degradation in vivo during 26 weeks.Additionally, the implantation and degradation of HP Mg and Mg-1Ca do not result in major organ dysfunction or pathological abnormalities. This work is expected to lay the foundation for future clinical translation of Mg and Mg alloy orthopedic implants.

文摘Due to the lack of an ideal material for TMJ(temporomandibular joint)disc perforation and local inflammation interfering with tissue regeneration,a functional TGI/HA-CS(tilapia type I gelatin/hyaluronic acid-chondroitin sulfate)double network hydrogel was constructed in this paper. It was not only multiply bionic in its composition, structure and mechanical strength, but also endowed with the ability to immunomodulate microenvironment and simultaneously induce in situ repair of defected TMJ discs. On the one hand,it inhibited inflammatory effects of inflammasome in macrophages, reduced the extracellular matrix(ECM)-degrading enzymes secreted by chondrocytes, reversed the local inflammatory state, promoted the proliferation of TMJ disc cells and induced fibrochondrogenic differentiation of synovium-derived mesenchymal stem cells(SMSCs).On the other hand,it gave an impetus to repairing a relatively-large(6 mm-sized)defect in mini pigs’TMJ discs in a rapid and high-quality manner, which suggested a promising clinical application.

文摘Sensitive and specific bioassays of tumor markers are critical for early cancer detection and treatment. In recent years,lanthanide(Ln3+)doped upconversion nanoparticles(UCNPs)have attracted wide attentions in tumor markers detectio n.Herein,we co mbined NaYF4:Yb,Tm and silver nanoparticles, serving as energy donor and receptor, respectively,to form an up-conversion fluorescence based inhibitory tumor marker biosensor system. The tumor marker CA-125 molecules are labeled with silver NPs,and the energy transfer fluorescent signal can be detected between the UCNPs and the silver NP receptors. The biosensor shows good stability, high sensitivity and selectivity in the tumor marker concentration range from 5 to 100 ng/mL,as well as a detection limit of 120 pg/mL.Due to the advantage of ease of fabrication and operation, low cost and high information capacity, this technology holds great potential for the clinical applications.

文摘Natural compounds derived from plants have attracted considerable attention in the scientific community due to their nontoxic nature and anti-cancer activity.Isoliquiritigenin(ISL),an active flavonoid isolated from the root of the licorice plant(Glycyrrhiza uralensis),has been previously demonstrated to have anti-inflammatory,antioxidant and tumor suppressive effects. In the past few years, the number of studies describing the effects of ISL against cancer has been gradually increased.ISL has been found to inhibit viability, proliferation, and migration of cancer cells mainly through cell cycle arrest, induction of apoptosis as well as autophagy. However, the molecular mechanisms of action are not completely comprehended. This review aimed to provide a comprehensive summary of the biological effects and molecular mechanisms of ISL against cancer.
文摘The biosorption properties of dead sulfate reducing bacteria (SRB) for the removal of Cu(Ⅱ) and Fe(Ⅲ) from aqueous solutions was studied. For both the single metal and binary metal systems, the biosorption of Cu(Ⅱ) and Fe(Ⅲ) onto a SRB biosorbent was better represented by a Langmuir model than by a Freundlich model.
