Impact of the Rapid Recovery Concept on Complications and Patient Quality of Life in the Perioperative Nursing of Robot-Assisted Radical Oesophageal Cancer

Aim: This study evaluates the impact of Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) nursing on postoperative complications and quality of life in patients undergoing robot-assisted minimally invasive esophagectomy (RAMIE). Methods: A total of 150 patients who underwent RAMIE from January 2020 to January 2022 at our hospital were randomly assigned to either the observation group or the control group, with 75 patients in each. The control group received standard perioperative management and nursing care, while the observation group was treated with ERAS nursing strategies. Interventions continued until discharge, and outcomes such as postoperative complications, quality of life, and nutritional status were compared between the groups. Results: The observation group exhibited a significantly lower incidence of postoperative adverse reactions compared to the control group (P ionally, all dimension scores of the Short-Form 36 Health Survey (SF-36), including the total score, were higher in the observation group (P < 0.05). Furthermore, the Nutritional Risk Screening (NRS) scores for impaired nutritional status and disease severity, along with the total NRS score, were significantly lower in the observation group compared to the control group (P Conclusion: Implementing ERAS nursing in the perioperative care of patients undergoing RAMIE is associated with reduced postoperative complications and enhanced postoperative quality of life and nutritional status. . 展开更多

Background Our previous studies demonstrated that divalent organic iron(Fe)proteinate sources with higher complexation or chelation strengths as expressed by the greater quotient of formation(Qf)values displayed higher Fe bioavailabilities for broilers.Sodium iron ethylenediaminetetraacetate(NaFeEDTA)is a trivalent organic Fe source with the strongest chelating ligand EDTA.However,the bioavailability of Fe when administered as NaFeEDTA in broilers and other agricultural animals remains untested.Herein,the chemical characteristics of 12 NaFeEDTA products were determined.Of these,one feed grade NaFeEDTA(Qf=2.07×10^(8)),one food grade NaFeEDTA(Qf=3.31×10^(8)),and one Fe proteinate with an extremely strong chelation strength(Fe-Prot ES,Qf value=8,590)were selected.Their bioavailabilities relative to Fe sulfate(FeSO_(4)·7H_(2)O)for broilers fed with a conventional corn-soybean meal diet were evaluated during d 1 to 21 by investigating the effects of the above Fe sources and added Fe levels on the growth performance,hematological indices,Fe contents,activities and gene expressions of Fe-containing enzymes in various tissues of broilers.Results NaFeEDTA sources varied greatly in their chemical characteristics.Plasma Fe concentration(PI),transferrin saturation(TS),liver Fe content,succinate dehydrogenase(SDH)activities in liver,heart,and kidney,catalase(CAT)activity in liver,and SDH mRNA expressions in liver and kidney increased linearly(P<0.05)with increasing levels of Fe supplementation.However,differences among Fe sources were detected(P<0.05)only for PI,liver Fe content,CAT activity in liver,SDH activities in heart and kidney,and SDH mRNA expressions in liver and kidney.Based on slope ratios from multiple linear regressions of the above indices on daily dietary analyzed Fe intake,the average bioavailabilities of Fe-Prot ES,feed grade NaFeEDTA,and food grade NaFeEDTA relative to the inorganic FeSO_(4)·7H_(2)O(100%)for broilers were 139%,155%,and 166%,respectively.Conclusions The bioavailabilities of organic Fe sources relative to FeSO_(4)·7H_(2)O were closely related to their Qf values,and NaFeEDTA sources with higher Qf values showed higher Fe bioavailabilities for broilers fed with a conventional corn-soybean meal diet. 展开更多

The surrounding geological conditions and supporting structures of underground engineering are often updated during construction,and these updates require repeated numerical modeling.To improve the numerical modeling efficiency of underground engineering,a modularized and parametric modeling cloud server is developed by using Python codes.The basic framework of the cloud server is as follows:input the modeling parameters into the web platform,implement Rhino software and FLAC3D software to model and run simulations in the cloud server,and return the simulation results to the web platform.The modeling program can automatically generate instructions that can run the modeling process in Rhino based on the input modeling parameters.The main modules of the modeling program include modeling the 3D geological structures,the underground engineering structures,and the supporting structures as well as meshing the geometric models.In particular,various cross-sections of underground caverns are crafted as parametricmodules in themodeling program.Themodularized and parametric modeling program is used for a finite element simulation of the underground powerhouse of the Shuangjiangkou Hydropower Station.This complicatedmodel is rapidly generated for the simulation,and the simulation results are reasonable.Thus,this modularized and parametric modeling program is applicable for three-dimensional finite element simulations and analyses. 展开更多

N-doped carbon materials,with their applications as electrocatalysts for the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR),have been extensively studied.However,a negletcted fact is that the operating potential of the ORR is higher than the theoretical oxida-tion potential of carbon,possibly leading to the oxidation of carbon materials.Consequently,the infl uence of the structural oxidation evolution on ORR performance and the real active sites are not clear.In this study,we discover a two-step oxida-tion process of N-doped carbon during the ORR.The fi rst oxidation process is caused by the applied potential and bubbling oxygen during the ORR,leading to the oxidative dissolution of N and the formation of abundant oxygen-containing functional groups.This oxidation process also converts the reaction path from the four-electron(4e)ORR to the two-electron(2e)ORR.Subsequently,the enhanced 2e ORR generates oxidative H_(2)O_(2),which initiates the second stage of oxidation to some newly formed oxygen-containing functional groups,such as quinones to dicarboxyls,further diversifying the oxygen-containing functional groups and making carboxyl groups as the dominant species.We also reveal the synergistic eff ect of multiple oxygen-containing functional groups by providing additional opportunities to access active sites with optimized adsorption of OOH*,thus leading to high effi ciency and durability in electrocatalytic H_(2)O_(2) production. 展开更多

Laser interferometry is an important technique for ultrasensitive detection of motion and displacement.We push the limit of laser interferometry through noise optimization and device engineering.The contribution of noises other than shot noise is reduced from 92.6%to 62.4%,demonstrating the possibility towards shotnoise-limited measurement.Using noise thermometry,we quantify the laser heating effect and determine the range of laser power values for room-temperature measurements.With detailed analysis and optimization of signal transduction,we achieve 1.2 fm/Hz^(1/2)displacement measurement sensitivity at room temperature in twodimensional(2D)Ca Nb_(2)O_(6)nanomechanical resonators,the best value reported to date among all resonators based on 2D materials.Our work demonstrates a possible pathway towards quantum-noise-limited measurement at room temperature. 展开更多

The ecosystem of the sea region adjacent to the Antarctic Peninsula is undergoing remarkable physical and biological changes, in the context of global warming. However, understanding of the dynamics of phytoplankton taxonomic composition in this marginal ice zone remains unclear. In this study, seawater samples collected from 36 stations in the northeastern Antarctic Peninsula were analyzed for nutrients and phytoplankton pigments.Combining with CHEMTAX analysis, remote sensing data, and physicochemical measurements, we investigated the relationships between phytoplankton crops, taxonomic composition, and marine environmental drivers.Integrated chlorophyll a(Chl a) concentrations(200 m) varied from 8.9 mg/m^(2)to 64.2 mg/m^(2), with an average of(23.2±12.0) mg/m^(2)and higher phytoplankton biomass concentrated in the coastal region of South Orkney Island and South Shetland Island. Diatoms were the dominant functional group(63%±21%). Higher proportions of diatoms were associated with higher Chl a(r=0.40, p<0.01), stable water columns(r=0.20, p<0.01), higher Si/P ratios(r=0.34, p<0.01), higher photosynthetically active radiation intensity(r=0.64, p<0.01), and higher sea ice melt water contributions(MWC, r=0.20, p<0.01). Conversely, Phaeocystis antarctica contributed a smaller overall proportion(31%±18%) and was more concentrated in the offshore water masses(e.g., Philip Ridge and South Scotia Ridge) with lower light levels(r=-0.58, p<0.01), deeper mixed layer depths(r=0.17, p<0.05), higher nutrient concentrations(e.g., N, P, and Si, r>0.35, p<0.01), and lower MWC(r=-0.20, p<0.01). In comparison, the total contribution from green flagellates(4%±5%), cryptophyta(1%±3%), dinoflagellates(1%±4%), and cyanobacteria(1% ± 5%) was only 6%. In offshore regions with well-mixed water, less varied taxonomic composition and lower crops with a higher proportion of nanophytoplankton were observed. In contrast, significantly decreasing crops below the mixed layer depth was observed in water columns with strong stratification, where the dominant phytoplankter changed from diatoms to P. antarctica. These findings have important implications for better understanding the future dynamics of marine ecosystems in the sea area adjacent to the Antarctic Peninsula. 展开更多

Deep learning(DL)is currently revolutionizing peptide drug development due to both computational advances and the substantial recent expansion of digitized biological data.However,progress in oligopeptide drug development has been limited,likely due to the lack of suitable datasets and difficulty in identifying informative features to use as inputs for DL models.Here,we utilized an unsupervised deep learning model to learn a semantic pattern based on the intrinsically disordered regions of~171 known osteogenic proteins.Subsequently,oligopeptides were generated from this semantic pattern based on Monte Carlo simulation,followed by in vivo functional characterization.A five amino acid oligopeptide(AIB5P)had strong bone-formation-promoting effects,as determined in multiple mouse models(e.g.,osteoporosis,fracture,and osseointegration of implants).Mechanistically,we showed that AIB5P promotes osteogenesis by binding to the integrinα5 subunit and thereby activating FAK signaling.In summary,we successfully established an oligopeptide discovery strategy based on a DL model and demonstrated its utility from cytological screening to animal experimental verification. 展开更多

Ionic liquids(ILs) have attracted increasing attention since last few decades due to their high molecular design abilities and wide applications in different fields.In this study,four novel fluorescent isoquinolino [2,1-a]quinoxalin-5-ium ILs were designed and synthesized via a two-step process including a simple dual Schiff’s base formation and a subsequent [RhCp*Cl_(2)]_(2)-catalyzed oxidative C-H activation/annulation reaction.The as-synthesized ILs were extensively characterized using FT-IR,~1 H-NMR,^(13)C-NMR,^(19)F-NMR,HSQC-NMR,HMBC-NMR and HR-MS.Their photophysical properties were determined by steady-state fluorescence spectroscopy.The results demonstrate that all these ILs showed dual or triple emissions,large stokes shift(90 nm) and mechanochromic behaviors.Basing on solvatochromism and titration experiments,it is thought that the emission bands of the ILs are raised from their local excited states,charge transfer states or excited state proton transfer of cations,while the substitute effect of these quinoxaline derived ILs on their stokes shifts is negligible. 展开更多

Determination of global geodetic parameters using satellite laser ranging to Galileo,GLONASS,and BeiDou satellites

The new Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)satellites,including GLONASS,Galileo,and BeiDou system,are equipped with Laser Retroreflector Arrays(LRA)to support Satellite Laser Ranging(SLR)tracking,which contributes to the estimation of global geodetic parameters.In this study,we estimate the global geodetic parameters using the SLR observations to GNSS satellites and also investigate the effects of different data processing strategies on the estimated Earth Rotation Parameters(ERP),geocenter motion,and terrestrial scale.The results indicate that setting range bias parameters for each satellite-station pair can effectively account for the satellite-specific biases induced by LRAs,leading to smaller Root Mean Square Errors(RMSE)of the post-fit SLR residuals.Furthermore,estimating the range biases for each satellite-station pair improves the accuracy of the estimated station coordinates and ERP.We also examine the impact of different arc lengths on the estimates of ERP,geocenter motion,and terrestrial scale.The results show that extending arc length can significantly reduce the formal error of ERP.The 7-day strategy produces the smallest RMSEs of 473 microarcseconds and 495 microarcseconds for the estimated X-and Y-component of pole coordinates,and 52 microseconds for length-of-day,respectively.However,the estimated geocenter motion is less affected by the arc length,even the shortest 1-day arc strategy can capture the seasonal variations of geocenter motion in Z component.For scale estimation,extending the arc length notably improves the accuracy of the estimated station coordinates and scale,but this advantage becomes less noticeable in longer arcs.The 7-day solution also obtains the closet scale results compared to ITRF2014,with the RMSE of 2.10×10^(–9). 展开更多

Integer Ambiguity Resolution(IAR)can significantly improve the accuracy of GNSS Precise Orbit Determination(POD).Traditionally,the IAR in POD is achieved at the Double Differenced(DD)level.In this contribution,we develop an Un-Differenced(UD)IAR method for Global Positioning System(GPS)+BeiDou Navigation Satellite System(BDS)+Galileo navigation satellite system(Galileo)+Global'naya Navigatsionnaya Sputnikovaya Sistema(GLONASS)quad-system POD by calibrating UD ambiguities in the raw carrier phase and generating the so-called carrier range.Based on this method,we generate the UD ambiguity-fixed orbit and clock products for the Wuhan Innovation Application Center(IAC)of the International GNSS Monitoring and Assessment System(iGMAS).One-year observations in 2020 from 150 stations are employed to investigate performance of orbit and clock products.Notably,the UD Ambiguity Resolution(AR)yields more resolved integer ambiguities than the traditional DD AR,scaling up to 9%,attributable to its avoidance of station baseline formation.Benefiting from the removal of ambiguity parameters,the computational efficiency of parameter estimation undergoes a substantial 70%improvement.Compared with the float solution,the orbit consistencies of UD AR solution achieve the accuracy of 1.9,5.2,2.8,2.1,and 2.7 cm for GPS,BeiDou-2 Navigation Satellite System(BDS-2),BeiDou-3 Navigation Satellite System(BDS-3),Galileo,and GLONASS satellites respectively,reflecting enhancements of 40%,24%,54%,34%,and 42%.Moreover,the standard deviations of Satellite Laser Ranging(SLR)residuals are spanning 2.5–3.5 cm,underscoring a comparable accuracy to the DD AR solution,with discrepancies below 5%.A notable advantage of UD AR lies in its capability to produce the Integer Recovered Clock(IRC),facilitating Precise Point Positioning(PPP)AR without requiring additional Uncalibrated Phase Delay(UPD)products.To assess the performance of quad-system kinematic PPP based on IRC,a network comprising 120 stations is utilized.In comparison to the float solution,the IRC-based PPP AR accelerates convergence time by 31%and enhance positioning accuracy in the east component by 54%. 展开更多

Smart electronic textiles with electronic functions like displaying can provide transformative opportunities for wearable devices that traditional rigid devices are hard to realize.A general strategy of enabling textiles to display is weaving light-emitting fibers into textiles and designing control circuits.However,it remains challenging for the current electronic textiles to display full-color images and videos.Here,we demonstrate a large-area integrated electronic textile system(with a size of 72 cm×50 cm)by weaving light-emitting diode(LED)fibers,touch-sensing fibers and polyester fibers,which could display full-color images(with a gamut of 117.6%NTSC)and continuous videos(with a refresh rate of 11.7 Hz)by designing low-voltage supply mode and parallelly transmitting circuits.After integration of touch-sensing fibers,such textile system could achieve various touch display and interactive functions like smart phones or computers,including hand input of text,hand painting,computing and playing games.The stability and durability of textile system withstanding 5000 bending cycles was also demonstrated for wearable applications.The integrated electronic textile system shows similar flexibility and breathability with regular textiles,which is promising to serve as new human-machine interface to change the way in which people interact with electronics. 展开更多

Two-dimensional(2D)non-layered materials,along with their unique surface properties,offer intriguing prospects for sensing applications.Introducing mechanical degrees of freedom is expected to enrich the sensing performances of 2D non-layered devices,such as high frequency,high tunability,and large dynamic range,which could lead to new types of high performance nanosensors.Here,we demonstrate 2D non-layered nanomechanical resonant sensors based onβ-In_(2)S_(3),where the devices exhibit robust nanomechanical vibrations up to the very high frequency(VHF)band.We show that such device can operate as pressure sensor with broad range(from 103 Torr to atmospheric pressure),high linearity(with a nonlinearity factor as low as 0.0071),and fast response(with an intrinsic response time less than 1μs).We further unveil the frequency scaling law in theseβ-In_(2)S_(3) nanomechanical sensors and successfully extract both the Young's modulus and pretension for the crystal.Our work paves the way towards future wafer-scale design and integrated sensors based on 2D non-layered materials. 展开更多

Over the past years the International Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)Monitoring and Assessment System(iGMAS)Wuhan Innovation Application Center(IAC)dedicated to exploring the potential of multi-GNSS signals and providing a set of products and services.This contribution summarizes the strategies,achievements,and innovations of multi-GNSS orbit/clock/bias determination in iGMAS Wuhan IAC.Both the precise products and Real-Time Services(RTS)are evaluated and discussed.The precise orbit and clock products have comparable accuracy with the precise products of the International GNSS Service(IGS)and iGMAS.The multi-frequency code and phase bias products for Global Positioning System(GPS),BeiDou Navigation Satellite System(BDS),Galileo navigation satellite system(Galileo),and GLObal NAvigation Satellite System(GLONASS)are provided to support multi-GNSS and multi-frequency Precise Point Positioning(PPP)Ambiguity Resolution(AR).Compared with dual-frequency PPP AR,the time to first fix of triple-frequency solution is improved by 30%.For RTS,the proposed orbit prediction strategy improves the three dimensional accuracy of predicted orbit by 1 cm.The multi-thread strategy and high-performance matrix library are employed to accelerate the real-time orbit and clock determination.The results with respect to the IGS precise products show the high accuracy of RTS orbits and clocks,4–9 cm and 0.1–0.2 ns,respectively.Using real-time satellite corrections,real-time PPP solutions achieve satisfactory performance with horizontal and vertical positioning errors within 2 and 4 cm,respectively,and convergence time of 16.97 min. 展开更多

口蹄疫(Foot-and-mouth Disease,FMD)是由口蹄疫病毒(Foot-and-mouth Disease Virus,FMDV)引起的急性、高度传染性疾病,一旦大规模爆发会给畜牧业造成巨大的经济损失。接种灭活病毒疫苗是目前防控口蹄疫的最有效手段,但传统灭活疫苗存... 口蹄疫(Foot-and-mouth Disease,FMD)是由口蹄疫病毒(Foot-and-mouth Disease Virus,FMDV)引起的急性、高度传染性疾病,一旦大规模爆发会给畜牧业造成巨大的经济损失。接种灭活病毒疫苗是目前防控口蹄疫的最有效手段,但传统灭活疫苗存在病毒逃逸、生产成本高等诸多局限。重组亚单位蛋白疫苗免疫原性好且安全性高,是发展新型口蹄疫疫苗的重要方向。口蹄疫病毒结构蛋白VP1因含主要抗原表位,而成为口蹄疫亚单位疫苗及诊断试剂的开发热点。与真核系统相比,原核表达系统生产周期短、易于放大生产、成本低廉,更适于动物疫苗的开发,但VP1采用原核系统表达会形成无活性的不溶包涵体。本工作中首次同时融合小分子泛素相关修饰物(Small Ubiquitin-related Modifier,SUMO)和RNA作用结构域(RNA-interacting Domain,RID)两种助溶标签来实现FMDV VP1(O型/MYA/98)在原核系统中的高效可溶表达。首先采用PCR(聚合酶链反应)重叠技术,以p ET-28a(+)为载体构建了RID-SUMO-VP1重组质粒,将重组质粒转化至E.coli BL21(DE3),在18℃下通过1 mmol/L IPTG(异丙基-β-D-硫代半乳糖苷)诱导4 h后,融合蛋白RID-SUMO-VP1高效表达,可溶表达比例达79%,而融合SUMO或RID单一标签的VP1仍主要表达为不溶的包涵体。然后采用硫酸铵两步沉淀法对工程菌的破碎上清进行纯化,得到纯度为93%的RID-SUMO-VP1,酶联免疫吸附测定(ELISA)实验表明其能够与O型FMDV阳性小鼠血清反应。研究结果表明,采用RID及SUMO双标签融合策略能极大提高VP1在原核系统中的可溶表达效率,且表达的VP1具备良好的抗原性,这为开发新型FMDV免疫诊断试剂和安全高效的亚单位疫苗奠定了良好基础。 展开更多
