The system under consideration involves constant time-delay and n...The robust reliable guaranteed cost control for uncertain singular delay systems with actuator failures and a given quadratic cost function is studied. The system under consideration involves constant time-delay and norm-bounded parameter uncertainties. The purpose is to design state feedback controllers which can tolerate actuator failure, such that the closed-loop system is stable, and the specified cost function has an upper bound for all admissible uncertainties. The sufficient conditions for the solvability of this problem are obtained by a linear matrix inequality (LMI) method. Furthermore, a numerical example is given to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed approach.展开更多

One-step diagnosis of exchanged hypercubes which involves only one testing phase during which processors test each other is discussed. The diagnosabilities of exchanged hypercubes are studied by using the pessimistic one-step diagno- sis strategy under two kinds of diagnosis models: the PMC model and the MM model. The main results presented here are the two proofs that the degree of diagnosability of the EH(s, t) under pessimistic one-step tl/tl fault diagnosis strategy is 2s where I ≤ s ≤ t (respectively, 2t, where 1 ≤ t ≤ s) based on the PMC model and that it is also 2s where 1 ≤ s ≤ t (respectively, 2t, where 1 ≤ t ≤ s) based on the MM* model.展开更多

We suppose that the classical distributed consensus protocol is destroyed by diverse time-delays which include communication time-delay and self time-delay. Based on the generalized Nyquist stability criterion and the Gerschgorin disk theorem, some sufficient conditions for the consensus of multi-agent systems are obtained. And we give the expression of the weighted average consensus value for our consensus protocol. Finally, numerical examples are presented to illustrate the theoretical results.展开更多

For the network, each agent can only exchange symbolic data with its neighbours. We provide a distributed average consensus protocol which uses the quantized and time-delay information. We consider two types of dynamic encoders/decoders in our protocol.One uses inverse proportion function as scaling function, while the other uses exponential function as scaling function. All agents can reach average consensus asymptotically with our protocol.Furthermore, we show that the average consensus protocol is robust to finite symmetric time-delays, but is sensitive to asymmetric time-delays that will destroy the average consensus of the networks. Finally, simulations are presented to illustrate validity of our theoretical results.展开更多
