In this study, we unexpectedly found that wildtype Sprague-Dawley(SD) rats can be infected with the SARS-CoV-2 prototype. Our results showed direct experimental evidence of the infectivity of SARS-CoV-2 infection, subsequent pathogenicity, and protection against reinfection in rats.展开更多
