Thus, rare genetic variations require diagnosis and targeted therapy in clinical practice. Rare gene mutations, amplifications, and rearrangements are usually associated with poor prognosis and poor response to conventional therapy. This review summarizes the clinical diagnosis and treatment of rare genetic variations, in genes including erb-b2 receptor tyrosine kinase 2(ERBB2), B-Raf proto-oncogene, serine/threonine kinase(BRAF), ALK receptor tyrosine kinase/ROS proto-oncogene 1, receptor tyrosine kinase(ALK/ROS1), neurotrophic receptor tyrosine kinases(NTRKs), ret proto-oncogene(RET), fibroblast growth factor receptor 2(FGFR2), and epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR), to enhance understanding and identify more accurate personalized treatments for patients with rare genetic variations.展开更多
Clean and efficient recycling of spent lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)has become an urgent need to promote sustainable and rapid development of human society.Therefore,we provide a critical and comprehensive overview of th...Clean and efficient recycling of spent lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)has become an urgent need to promote sustainable and rapid development of human society.Therefore,we provide a critical and comprehensive overview of the various technologies for recycling spent LIBs,starting with lithium-ion power batteries.Recent research on raw material collection,metallurgical recovery,separation and purification is highlighted,particularly in terms of all aspects of economic efficiency,energy consumption,technology transformation and policy management.Mechanisms and pathways for transformative full-component recovery of spent LIBs are explored,revealing a clean and efficient closed-loop recovery mechanism.Optimization methods are proposed for future recycling technologies,with a focus on how future research directions can be industrialized.Ultimately,based on life-cycle assessment,the challenges of future recycling are revealed from the LIBs supply chain and stability of the supply chain of the new energy battery industry to provide an outlook on clean and efficient short process recycling technologies.This work is designed to support the sustainable development of the new energy power industry,to help meet the needs of global decarbonization strategies and to respond to the major needs of industrialized recycling.展开更多

The patients in the control group were treated with prednisone combined with cyclophosphamide, and the patients in the observation group was given intravenous drip of ligustrazine injection on the basis of the control group. Before and after treatment, detected and compared the immunologic indexes (IgG, C3, ANA), matrix metalloproteinases (MMP-3, MMP-9, TIMP1), chemotactic factor (CXCL9, CXCL10, CXCL11) and serum levels of IL-10, PRL, S100 protein and EET between the two groups.Results: Before treatments, the immunologic indexes(IgG, C3, ANA), matrix metalloproteinases(MMP-3, MMP-9, TIMP1),chemotactic factor(CXCL9, CXCL10, CXCL11) and serum levels of IL-10, PRL, S100 protein and EET between the two groups had no statistical significance(P>0.05);After treatments, the immunologic indexes (IgG, C3, ANA), matrix metalloproteinases(MMP-3, MMP-9), chemotactic factor (CXCL9, CXCL10, CXCL11) and serum levels of IL-10, PRL, S100 protein and EET between the two groups had statistical significances (P<0.05).Conclusion: Ligustrazine injection was added to SLE patients on the basis of prednisone combined with cyclophosphamide therapy, it not only could significantly improve the immunologic function of patients, but also improve the levels of matrix metalloproteinases, chemokines and related serum factors, it's worthy of clinical research and application.展开更多

N-doped carbon materials are preferred metal-free electrocataly...Electrochemical CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2) RR) has attracted growing attention in energy storage and sustainable production of fuels and chemicals. N-doped carbon materials are preferred metal-free electrocatalysts, but it remains one challenge to finely engineer the active sites and porosity. Herein, we demonstrated that ionic porous polyamides were a kind of versatile precursors to prepare functional carbon materials in a one-step pyrolysis process. The polyamide precursors allowed the maintenance of abundant N species at high temperatures. The existence of ionic moieties and large specific surface area of the precursors promoted the formation of larger porosity carbon with a large specific surface area and sufficient active graphitic-N species by controlling the pyrolysis temperature. The catalyst was highly selective in the CO_(2) RR to produce CO with a maximum Faraday efficiency above 99%, attributable to the improved mass transfer in a large porosity system. This work shows that ionic polyamides are promising carbon precursors for the fabrication of metal-free electrocatalysts for CO_(2) RR.展开更多
1Background:Irritable bowel syndrome(IBS)is a disorder of bowel function,and diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome(IBS-D)is the most common.The current treatment for IBS-D is focused on improving patients’gas...1Background:Irritable bowel syndrome(IBS)is a disorder of bowel function,and diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome(IBS-D)is the most common.The current treatment for IBS-D is focused on improving patients’gastrointestinal-related symptoms,but there are limitations such as unstable effects and adverse drug reactions.Acupuncture and moxibustion exerts advantages in treating IBS-D.They include several forms,of which moxibustion is one of the most commonly used.And moxibustion is a common way used in treating IBS-D,but there is a lack of relevant evidence-based medical research data.This protocol aims to compare the efficacy of moxibustion(mild-warm moxibustion)in treating IBS-D(spleen deficiency and dampness excess syndrome)with the first-line treatment.Methods:In this prospective,parallel,randomized controlled trial(RCT)protocol,patients will be randomly allocated for 4-week treatment or control therapies and then 4-week follow-up in both groups.We will use Irritable Bowel Syndrome-Symptom Severity Scale(IBS-SSS)score,Irritable Bowel Syndrome-Quality of Life(IBS-QOL)score,serum brain-gut peptide levels,and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome scale score to produce more evidence on IBS-D treatment with moxibustion.Finally,we will use SPSS 22.0 software to statistically analyze the data.Discussion:Mild-warm moxibustion is a complementary alternative therapy that fits with the pathogenesis of IBS-D.We hope to see more clinical evidence for mild-warm moxibustion against IBS-D that this RCT supported.展开更多
Converting peanut shells into biochar by pyrolysis was considered an environmentally friendly and efficient method for agricultural solid waste disposal.The properties of peanut shell-derived biochar(PBC)under differe...Converting peanut shells into biochar by pyrolysis was considered an environmentally friendly and efficient method for agricultural solid waste disposal.The properties of peanut shell-derived biochar(PBC)under different temperature and its adsorption capacity of heavy metals were investigated.It was found that PBC400 exhibited the highest cumulative capability for heavy metals elimination in single solute because of its high specific surface area and rich functional groups.Furthermore,the competitive adsorption revealed that PBC had a substantial difference in adsorption affinity from diverse heavy metal ions,sorption capacity decreased as Pb2+>Cu2+>Cd2+>Ni2+>Zn2+,which was lower than in a single solute.The adsorption process using selected biochar was optimized with respect to p H,reaction time,adsorbent dose,and initial concentration of heavy metals.The kinetic data was well fitted with PSO model,and the Langmuir model was adopted for adsorption equilibrium data in both cases of single solutes and mixed solutes for all heavy metals,which indicated that the removal course was primarily explained by monolayer adsorption,and chemical adsorption occupied an important role.Therefore,peanut shells derived biochar could be a potential and green adsorbent for wastewater treatment.展开更多
White rust caused by Puccinia horiana is a destructive disease of chrysanthemum plants.To better understand the resistance mechanisms of composite species to this disease,the leaf cuticular traits,antioxidant and defe...White rust caused by Puccinia horiana is a destructive disease of chrysanthemum plants.To better understand the resistance mechanisms of composite species to this disease,the leaf cuticular traits,antioxidant and defensive enzymes activities of immune(Chrysanthemum makinoi var.wakasaense)and highly susceptible(Ajania shiwogiku var.kinokuniense)species were compared.Trichome density of two species was markedly different,negatively associated with plant resistance to P.horiana.Total wax load in C.makinoi var.wakasaense was two times more than that in A.shiwogiku var.kinokuniense.The wax composition in immune one was abundant in esters and primary alcohols.Superoxide dismutase(SOD,EC 1.15.1.1),peroxidase(POD,EC 1.11.1.7),polyphenoloxidase(PPO,EC 1.14.18.1 or EC 1.10.3.2)and phenylalanine ammonia lyase(PAL,EC 4.3.1.5)activitieswere investigated.In C.makinoi var.wakasaense,the activity of SOD and POD increased rapidly after inoculation,whichmight be non-host induced reactive oxygen species(ROS)activated antioxidant enzymes,however SOD and POD remained a low and steady level in the highly susceptible one after inoculation.Quick increase in PPO activities after inoculation was observed in both species,however it remained higher in C.makinoi var.wakasaense at the late period of inoculation.PAL in C.makinoi var.wakasaense was induced after pathogen inoculation,but not in A.shiwogiku var.kinokuniense,suggesting that these two enzymes might contribute to the resistance to P.horiana.展开更多

Programming of the stimulation parameters is important for maintaining the efficacy of deep brain stimulation. Voltage is consid- ered to be the most effective programming parameter. The present study is a retrospective analysis of six patients with Parkinson's disease (four men and two women, aged 37-65 years), who underwent bilateral deep brain stimulation of the subthalamic nucleus at the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, China, and who subsequently adjusted only the stimulation voltage. We evaluated motor symptom severity using the Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale Part III, symptom progression using the Hoehn and Yahr scale, and the levodopa equivalent daily dose, before surgery and 1 and 2 years after surgery. The 2-year follow-up results show that rigidity and tremor improved, and clinical symptoms were reduced, while pulse width was maintained at 60 ps and frequency at 130 Hz. Voltage adjust- ment alone is particularly suitable for patients who cannot tolerate multiparameter program adjustment. Levodopa equivalent daily dose was markedly reduced 1 and 2 years after surgery compared with baseline. Our results confirm that rigidity, tremor and bradykinesia can be best alleviated by voltage adjustment. The trial was registered at ClinicalTrials.gov (identifier: NCT01934881).展开更多
Electrochemical hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) is a promising route to harvest high-purity hydrogen(H_(2)).Efficient and selective energy transformations rely on the development of novel catalytic materials in terms...Electrochemical hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) is a promising route to harvest high-purity hydrogen(H_(2)).Efficient and selective energy transformations rely on the development of novel catalytic materials in terms of compositions and structures that survive under harsh conditions.This study focuses on a unique nanostructured CoMoS_(3) catalyst for HER under strong acidic and basic electrolyte.The morphologies of the catalysts are fine-tuned by altering reaction times in a hydrothermal reaction.Limited reaction time generates twisted thin-sheet CoMoS_(3)(12 h),which spins into a nanotube with an extended synthetic time(16 h).As the reaction time increases to 20 h,the CoMoS_(3) composite creates open-ended nanotubes,facilitating reactants to penetrate and react actively in the inner space of the nanotubes.Further,prolonged reaction time(24 h) results in the formation of the close-ended CoMoS_(3) nanotubes.We find out that the open-ended structure plays an important role in achieving fast kinetics as well as creating more active sites in HER reaction.The catalyst delivers a profound performance under both acidic and basic conditions,with overpotentials of 93 mV and 115 mV(at a current density of 10 mA/cm^(2)) in the acidic and basic electrolytes,respectively.Moreover,it shows superior long-term durability in both solutions.This work will provide a great foundation for understanding the morphology effect with the same composited catalyst towards energy conversion reactions,not limited to HER.展开更多

Background:The reproductive health addresses the reproductive processes,functions and system at all stages of life.Enhancing the level of global reproductive health is the goal of sustained attention and struggle by t...Background:The reproductive health addresses the reproductive processes,functions and system at all stages of life.Enhancing the level of global reproductive health is the goal of sustained attention and struggle by the international community.The social and economic development in Southeast Asia is lagging behind,and its female reproductive health is worrying,while the differences of female reproductive health among different regions are significant.Objective:To obtains the necessity and urgency of strengthening the reproductive health level of Southeast Asian countries,so as to provide the basis for the priorities and target to policy-makers and health administrators to improve reproductive health.Methods:Literature review were searched in PubMed,Web of Science databases,Google scholar database,and WHO's webpages.Maternal mortality ratio,contraceptive rates,unmet need for family planning,antenatal and postnatal care coverage,and sexually transmitted disease were the five key indicators and the influence factors for female reproductive health status in Southeast Asian countries.Results:The reproductive health of Southeast Asian women were still at a lower level overall and varied in different regions and conntries.Women's education and attitude,accessibility of service,socioeconomic and cultural factors,etc.were the potential influencing factors.Conclusion:There is left quite large space for improvement to the reproductive health in Southeast Asian countries and efficient interventions can be achieved for the key and easier-improved risk factors such as education and in high-risk areas.展开更多

Since inner-dot tunneling in quantum-dot molecules can be controlled by a gate voltage, destructive quantum coherence among multilevel transitions in quantum-dot molecule would give rise to EIT (electromagnetically induced transparency). In this report, we shall investigate controllable on- and off-resonance tunneling effects of an incident electromagnetic wave through such a quan-tum-dot-molecule dielectric film, of which the optical response is tuned by the switchable gate voltage. We have found from the theoretical mechanism that a high gate voltage can cause the EIT phenomenon of quan-tum-dot-molecule systems, and under the condition of on-resonance light tunneling through the thin film, the probe field will propagation without loss if the probe frequency detuning is zero. By taking advantage of these effects sensitive to the tunable gate voltage, such quantum coherence would be inte-grated in certain photonic structures, and some devices such as photonic switching and transistors can be designed. Transient evolution of optical characteristics in the quantum-dot-molecule dielectric film (once the tunable gate voltage is turned on or off) is also considered in this report.展开更多
Based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(V2.5),we explored the compatibility rules of moxibustion and auricular point prescriptions in the treatment of urinary retention after anorectal sur...Based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(V2.5),we explored the compatibility rules of moxibustion and auricular point prescriptions in the treatment of urinary retention after anorectal surgery,and further to obtain new prescriptions.Methods:We searched CNKI,Wanfang,VIP and CBM databases for the literature of moxibustion and auricular point therapy for urinary retention after anorectal surgery,collecting complete prescriptions and entering them into the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(V2.5).The acupoint frequency,association rules,and combination rules were analyzed by data mining method of software integration.Results:126 moxibustion prescriptions were selected,and the acupoints for urinary retention after anorectal surgery in the literature were analyzed,including 10 acupoints with frequency≥6,9 acupoint combinations with frequency≥26,5 acupoints with association rules,6 core acupoint combinations and 3 new prescription.124 auricular point prescriptions were selected,and the relevant acupoints in the literature were analyzed,including 10 acupoints with frequency of use≥18,15 acupoint combinations with frequency≥40,12 acupoint combinations with association rules,6 core acupoint combinations,and 3 new prescriptions.The core points include Qihai(RN6),Sanyinjiao(SP6),Zhongji(RN3),Guanyuan(RN4).The auricular point therapy is more to select the tenderness points and acupoints that have an impact on the urinary system,mainly including“Pangguang”(CO9),“Shenmen”(TF4),“Shen”(CO10),“Sanjiao”(CO17),“Pizhixia”(AT4),“Niaodao”(HX3),“Fei”(CO14),“Jiaogan”(AH6a).Conclusion:Moxibustion for the treatment of urinary retention is mainly based on invigorating“Primordial Qi”and regulating the functions of“Middle Jiao”(refers to the area of the body just below the diaphragm and above the navel that helps produce delicate nutrients).The entropic clustering of complex systems excavated new prescriptions for the treatment of urinary retention after anorectal surgery,providing new ideas for future research and treatment.展开更多
The response of Chrysanthemum japonense and C.nankingense to drought stress induced by polyethylene glycol was characterized at the level of leaf water status,leaf surface morphology and cuticular wax(quantity and com...The response of Chrysanthemum japonense and C.nankingense to drought stress induced by polyethylene glycol was characterized at the level of leaf water status,leaf surface morphology and cuticular wax(quantity and composition),the activity of antioxidant enzymes,the extent of membrane lipid peroxidation,the accumulation of proline,photosynthesis performance and abscisic acid(ABA)accumulation.The more tolerant species C.japonense maintained its water status more effectively than C.nankingense,probably because its leaves form more cuticular wax and are able to accumulate higher levels of ABA.Superoxide dismutase activity was higher in C.japonense than in C.nankingense,as was that of catalase and ascorbate peroxidase during the later part of the stress episode,but levels of peroxidase were not differentiated at the end of the stress period.Membrane damage,as measured by electrolyte leakage and malondialdehyde accumulation,was less severe in C.japonense,which was also able to generate higher levels of free proline after a 10 h exposure to stress.Thus the superior response of C.japonense also reflects a more adapted system of osmoprotection and antioxidation.As a result,photosynthesis was compromised less by drought stress in C.japonense than in C.nankingense.That provides a scientific basis for the development and application of drought tolerance resources of chrysanthemum.展开更多
A novel approach based on thermal diffusion was used to achieve controllable Mg content in A_(2)B_(7)-type La-Mg-Ni-based alloys.The formation mechanism of the A_(2)B_(7)-type phase as a result of the thermal diffusio...A novel approach based on thermal diffusion was used to achieve controllable Mg content in A_(2)B_(7)-type La-Mg-Ni-based alloys.The formation mechanism of the A_(2)B_(7)-type phase as a result of the thermal diffusion process and the effect of Mg content on hydrogen storage performance were investigated.X-ray diffraction(XRD)patterns and Rietveld refinement results showed that increased Mg transformed the LaNi_(5)phase in the La_(0.74)Sm_(0.03)Y_(0.23)Ni_(4.32)Al_(0.04)precursor alloy into a superlattice structure.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM)images showed that Mg was evenly distributed in the alloy bulk.Mg in the superlattice significantly inhibited the phase decomposition of the superlattice structure during the hydrogen absorption/desorption cycles.An A_(2)B_(7)-type La_(0.57)Sm_(0.02)Y_(0.18)Mg_(0.23)Ni_(3.38)Al_(0.03)alloy composed of Gd_(2)Co_(7)and Ce_(2)Ni_(7)phases was successfully synthesized.The pressure-composition isotherm profiles showed that the alloy had a hydrogen storage capacity as high as 1.73 wt%,with good cycling stability.After 50 cycles of hydrogen absorption/desorption,the alloy retained a hydrogen storage capacity of 1.45 wt%,with a capacity retention rate of up to 84.28%.The Mg thermal diffusion process thus provides a new approach for the controlled preparation of La-Mg-Ni-based alloys.展开更多
Background:Non‐small cell lung cancer(NSCLC),including the lung squamous cell carcinoma(LUSC)and lung adenocarcinoma(LUAD)subtypes,is a malignant tumor type with a poor 5‐year survival rate.The identification of new...Background:Non‐small cell lung cancer(NSCLC),including the lung squamous cell carcinoma(LUSC)and lung adenocarcinoma(LUAD)subtypes,is a malignant tumor type with a poor 5‐year survival rate.The identification of new powerful diagnostic biomarkers,prognostic biomarkers,and potential therapeutic targets in NSCLC is urgently required.Methods:The UCSC Xena,UALCAN,and GEO databases were used to screen and analyze differentially expressed genes,regulatory modes,and genetic/epigenetic alterations in NSCLC.The UCSC Xena database,GEO database,tissue microarray,and immunohistochemistry staining analyses were used to evaluate the diagnostic and prognostic values.Gain‐of‐function assays were performed to examine the roles.The ESTIMATE,TIMER,Linked Omics,STRING,and DAVID algorithms were used to analyze potential molecular mechanisms.Results:NR3C2 was identified as a potentially important molecule in NSCLC.NR3C2 is expressed at low levels in NSCLC,LUAD,and LUSC tissues,which is significantly related to the clinical indexes of these patients.Receiver operating characteristic curve analysis suggests that the altered NR3C2 expression patterns have diagnostic value in NSCLC,LUAD,and especially LUSC patients.Decreased NR3C2 expression levels can help predict poor prognosis in NSCLC and LUAD patients but not in LUSC patients.These results have been confirmed both with database analysis and real‐world clinical samples on a tissue microarray.Copy number variation contributes to low NR3C2 expression levels in NSCLC and LUAD,while promoter DNA methylation is involved in its downregulation in LUSC.Two NR3C2 promoter methylation sites have high sensitivity and specificity for LUSC diagnosis with clinical application potential.NR3C2 may be a key participant in NSCLC development and progression and is closely associated with the tumor microenvironment and immune cell infiltration.NR3C2 co‐expressed genes are involved in many cancer‐related signaling pathways,further supporting a potentially significant role of NR3C2 in NSCLC.Conclusions:NR3C2 is a novel potential diagnostic and prognostic biomarker and therapeutic target in NSCLC.展开更多
Introduction:In order to enhance the effectiveness of resource allocation,regions must tailor their responses to their specific epidemiological and economic situations.Methods:Utilizing Spectrum software,we projected ...Introduction:In order to enhance the effectiveness of resource allocation,regions must tailor their responses to their specific epidemiological and economic situations.Methods:Utilizing Spectrum software,we projected the cost-effectiveness of 10 chosen HIV interventions in six cities in eastern China from 2019 to 2028.We assessed three scenarios—Base,Achievable,and Idealized—for each city.The analysis included the projected number of HIV infections and deaths averted,as well as the incremental costeffectiveness ratios for each intervention in the six cities.Results:In Shijiazhuang,Wuxi,Yantai,and Zhenjiang,cities with initially low antiretroviral therapy(ART)coverage,ART showed significant effectiveness,especially for males.Conversely,in Foshan and Ningbo,where ART coverage was notably high,oral pre-exposure prophylaxis(PrEP)for men who have sex with men(MSM)proved effective in the Idealized scenario.MSM outreach,ART for males,and ART for females demonstrated cost-effectiveness across all six cities in both Achievable and Idealized scenarios at the predefined thresholds for each city.Discussion:Maintaining an appropriate coverage rate for outreach to MSM can lead to costeffectiveness.In cities with low ART coverage,scaling up ART remains a crucial intervention.In regions with high ART coverage,consideration may be given to the utilization of oral PrEP for MSM individuals,requiring budget allocation.展开更多
Objective:To explore the effect of moxibustion for preventing post-hemorrhoidectomy urinary retention of mixed hemorrhoids.Design:Two-arm randomized clinical trial with blinded outcome assessment and statistician.Sett...Objective:To explore the effect of moxibustion for preventing post-hemorrhoidectomy urinary retention of mixed hemorrhoids.Design:Two-arm randomized clinical trial with blinded outcome assessment and statistician.Setting:Anorectal Department of Changshu Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine,from October 2020 to a cutoff day in March 2021.Participants:120 patients with mixed hemorrhoids undertaken hemorrhoidectomy.Interventions:In the moxibustion group,moxibustion was exerted after surgery at Zhongji(CV3),Qihai(CV6),Guanyuan(CV4)and Sanyinjiao(SP6,bilateral).In the medication group,tamsulosin was administered orally after surgery.The cases were all observed for 24 h in two groups.Outcome measures:The primary outcome was incidence of post-hemorrhoidectomy urinary retention and the secondary outcomes included time to the first voiding,the first voiding volume and adverse events were measured and compared between two groups.Results:Sixty patients in each group were included in the data analysis and no change was made to the design of the trial after the trial begun.After treatment,the incidence of the post-hemorrhoidectomy urinary retention was 5%in the moxibustion group,lower than 20%in the medication group(P<0.05).The time to the first voiding after surgery was(4.76±1.69)h in the moxibustion group,shorter than(6.81±1.15)h in the medication group(P<0.05).The first voiding volume in the moxibustion group was(300.67±110.33)mL,higher than(224.67±90.88)mL in the medication group(P<0.05).There was no adverse event during study in the moxibustion group.Dizziness and nausea occurred in the medication group.Conclusion:Moxibustion reduced the incidence of post-hemorrhoidectomy urinary retention,shortened the time to the first voiding and improved the urine volume after hemorrhoidectomy of mixed hemorroids.This therapy could be beneficial and safe,and thus could be recommended to the clinical practice.展开更多

文摘Targeted therapy is crucial for advanced colorectal cancer(CRC) positive for genetic drivers. With advances in deep sequencing technology and new targeted drugs, existing standard molecular pathological detection systems and therapeutic strategies can no longer meet the requirements for careful management of patients with advanced CRC. Thus, rare genetic variations require diagnosis and targeted therapy in clinical practice. Rare gene mutations, amplifications, and rearrangements are usually associated with poor prognosis and poor response to conventional therapy. This review summarizes the clinical diagnosis and treatment of rare genetic variations, in genes including erb-b2 receptor tyrosine kinase 2(ERBB2), B-Raf proto-oncogene, serine/threonine kinase(BRAF), ALK receptor tyrosine kinase/ROS proto-oncogene 1, receptor tyrosine kinase(ALK/ROS1), neurotrophic receptor tyrosine kinases(NTRKs), ret proto-oncogene(RET), fibroblast growth factor receptor 2(FGFR2), and epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR), to enhance understanding and identify more accurate personalized treatments for patients with rare genetic variations.

文摘Clean and efficient recycling of spent lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)has become an urgent need to promote sustainable and rapid development of human society.Therefore,we provide a critical and comprehensive overview of the various technologies for recycling spent LIBs,starting with lithium-ion power batteries.Recent research on raw material collection,metallurgical recovery,separation and purification is highlighted,particularly in terms of all aspects of economic efficiency,energy consumption,technology transformation and policy management.Mechanisms and pathways for transformative full-component recovery of spent LIBs are explored,revealing a clean and efficient closed-loop recovery mechanism.Optimization methods are proposed for future recycling technologies,with a focus on how future research directions can be industrialized.Ultimately,based on life-cycle assessment,the challenges of future recycling are revealed from the LIBs supply chain and stability of the supply chain of the new energy battery industry to provide an outlook on clean and efficient short process recycling technologies.This work is designed to support the sustainable development of the new energy power industry,to help meet the needs of global decarbonization strategies and to respond to the major needs of industrialized recycling.

文摘Objective:To investigate the effect of prednisone and cyclophosphamide combine with ligustrazine injection on immunologic function and other related factors in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).Methods: The subjects selected 70 patients with SLE who diagnosed and treated in our hospital from March 2014 to May 2018, divided into control group and observation group randomly, 35 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with prednisone combined with cyclophosphamide, and the patients in the observation group was given intravenous drip of ligustrazine injection on the basis of the control group. Before and after treatment, detected and compared the immunologic indexes (IgG, C3, ANA), matrix metalloproteinases (MMP-3, MMP-9, TIMP1), chemotactic factor (CXCL9, CXCL10, CXCL11) and serum levels of IL-10, PRL, S100 protein and EET between the two groups.Results: Before treatments, the immunologic indexes(IgG, C3, ANA), matrix metalloproteinases(MMP-3, MMP-9, TIMP1),chemotactic factor(CXCL9, CXCL10, CXCL11) and serum levels of IL-10, PRL, S100 protein and EET between the two groups had no statistical significance(P>0.05);After treatments, the immunologic indexes (IgG, C3, ANA), matrix metalloproteinases(MMP-3, MMP-9), chemotactic factor (CXCL9, CXCL10, CXCL11) and serum levels of IL-10, PRL, S100 protein and EET between the two groups had statistical significances (P<0.05).Conclusion: Ligustrazine injection was added to SLE patients on the basis of prednisone combined with cyclophosphamide therapy, it not only could significantly improve the immunologic function of patients, but also improve the levels of matrix metalloproteinases, chemokines and related serum factors, it's worthy of clinical research and application.

文摘Electrochemical CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2) RR) has attracted growing attention in energy storage and sustainable production of fuels and chemicals. N-doped carbon materials are preferred metal-free electrocatalysts, but it remains one challenge to finely engineer the active sites and porosity. Herein, we demonstrated that ionic porous polyamides were a kind of versatile precursors to prepare functional carbon materials in a one-step pyrolysis process. The polyamide precursors allowed the maintenance of abundant N species at high temperatures. The existence of ionic moieties and large specific surface area of the precursors promoted the formation of larger porosity carbon with a large specific surface area and sufficient active graphitic-N species by controlling the pyrolysis temperature. The catalyst was highly selective in the CO_(2) RR to produce CO with a maximum Faraday efficiency above 99%, attributable to the improved mass transfer in a large porosity system. This work shows that ionic polyamides are promising carbon precursors for the fabrication of metal-free electrocatalysts for CO_(2) RR.

文摘1Background:Irritable bowel syndrome(IBS)is a disorder of bowel function,and diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome(IBS-D)is the most common.The current treatment for IBS-D is focused on improving patients’gastrointestinal-related symptoms,but there are limitations such as unstable effects and adverse drug reactions.Acupuncture and moxibustion exerts advantages in treating IBS-D.They include several forms,of which moxibustion is one of the most commonly used.And moxibustion is a common way used in treating IBS-D,but there is a lack of relevant evidence-based medical research data.This protocol aims to compare the efficacy of moxibustion(mild-warm moxibustion)in treating IBS-D(spleen deficiency and dampness excess syndrome)with the first-line treatment.Methods:In this prospective,parallel,randomized controlled trial(RCT)protocol,patients will be randomly allocated for 4-week treatment or control therapies and then 4-week follow-up in both groups.We will use Irritable Bowel Syndrome-Symptom Severity Scale(IBS-SSS)score,Irritable Bowel Syndrome-Quality of Life(IBS-QOL)score,serum brain-gut peptide levels,and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome scale score to produce more evidence on IBS-D treatment with moxibustion.Finally,we will use SPSS 22.0 software to statistically analyze the data.Discussion:Mild-warm moxibustion is a complementary alternative therapy that fits with the pathogenesis of IBS-D.We hope to see more clinical evidence for mild-warm moxibustion against IBS-D that this RCT supported.

文摘Converting peanut shells into biochar by pyrolysis was considered an environmentally friendly and efficient method for agricultural solid waste disposal.The properties of peanut shell-derived biochar(PBC)under different temperature and its adsorption capacity of heavy metals were investigated.It was found that PBC400 exhibited the highest cumulative capability for heavy metals elimination in single solute because of its high specific surface area and rich functional groups.Furthermore,the competitive adsorption revealed that PBC had a substantial difference in adsorption affinity from diverse heavy metal ions,sorption capacity decreased as Pb2+>Cu2+>Cd2+>Ni2+>Zn2+,which was lower than in a single solute.The adsorption process using selected biochar was optimized with respect to p H,reaction time,adsorbent dose,and initial concentration of heavy metals.The kinetic data was well fitted with PSO model,and the Langmuir model was adopted for adsorption equilibrium data in both cases of single solutes and mixed solutes for all heavy metals,which indicated that the removal course was primarily explained by monolayer adsorption,and chemical adsorption occupied an important role.Therefore,peanut shells derived biochar could be a potential and green adsorbent for wastewater treatment.

文摘White rust caused by Puccinia horiana is a destructive disease of chrysanthemum plants.To better understand the resistance mechanisms of composite species to this disease,the leaf cuticular traits,antioxidant and defensive enzymes activities of immune(Chrysanthemum makinoi var.wakasaense)and highly susceptible(Ajania shiwogiku var.kinokuniense)species were compared.Trichome density of two species was markedly different,negatively associated with plant resistance to P.horiana.Total wax load in C.makinoi var.wakasaense was two times more than that in A.shiwogiku var.kinokuniense.The wax composition in immune one was abundant in esters and primary alcohols.Superoxide dismutase(SOD,EC 1.15.1.1),peroxidase(POD,EC 1.11.1.7),polyphenoloxidase(PPO,EC 1.14.18.1 or EC 1.10.3.2)and phenylalanine ammonia lyase(PAL,EC 4.3.1.5)activitieswere investigated.In C.makinoi var.wakasaense,the activity of SOD and POD increased rapidly after inoculation,whichmight be non-host induced reactive oxygen species(ROS)activated antioxidant enzymes,however SOD and POD remained a low and steady level in the highly susceptible one after inoculation.Quick increase in PPO activities after inoculation was observed in both species,however it remained higher in C.makinoi var.wakasaense at the late period of inoculation.PAL in C.makinoi var.wakasaense was induced after pathogen inoculation,but not in A.shiwogiku var.kinokuniense,suggesting that these two enzymes might contribute to the resistance to P.horiana.

文摘Deep brain stimulation of the subthalamic nucleus is recognized as the most effective treatment for moderate and advanced Parkinson's disease. Programming of the stimulation parameters is important for maintaining the efficacy of deep brain stimulation. Voltage is consid- ered to be the most effective programming parameter. The present study is a retrospective analysis of six patients with Parkinson's disease (four men and two women, aged 37-65 years), who underwent bilateral deep brain stimulation of the subthalamic nucleus at the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, China, and who subsequently adjusted only the stimulation voltage. We evaluated motor symptom severity using the Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale Part III, symptom progression using the Hoehn and Yahr scale, and the levodopa equivalent daily dose, before surgery and 1 and 2 years after surgery. The 2-year follow-up results show that rigidity and tremor improved, and clinical symptoms were reduced, while pulse width was maintained at 60 ps and frequency at 130 Hz. Voltage adjust- ment alone is particularly suitable for patients who cannot tolerate multiparameter program adjustment. Levodopa equivalent daily dose was markedly reduced 1 and 2 years after surgery compared with baseline. Our results confirm that rigidity, tremor and bradykinesia can be best alleviated by voltage adjustment. The trial was registered at ClinicalTrials.gov (identifier: NCT01934881).

文摘Electrochemical hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) is a promising route to harvest high-purity hydrogen(H_(2)).Efficient and selective energy transformations rely on the development of novel catalytic materials in terms of compositions and structures that survive under harsh conditions.This study focuses on a unique nanostructured CoMoS_(3) catalyst for HER under strong acidic and basic electrolyte.The morphologies of the catalysts are fine-tuned by altering reaction times in a hydrothermal reaction.Limited reaction time generates twisted thin-sheet CoMoS_(3)(12 h),which spins into a nanotube with an extended synthetic time(16 h).As the reaction time increases to 20 h,the CoMoS_(3) composite creates open-ended nanotubes,facilitating reactants to penetrate and react actively in the inner space of the nanotubes.Further,prolonged reaction time(24 h) results in the formation of the close-ended CoMoS_(3) nanotubes.We find out that the open-ended structure plays an important role in achieving fast kinetics as well as creating more active sites in HER reaction.The catalyst delivers a profound performance under both acidic and basic conditions,with overpotentials of 93 mV and 115 mV(at a current density of 10 mA/cm^(2)) in the acidic and basic electrolytes,respectively.Moreover,it shows superior long-term durability in both solutions.This work will provide a great foundation for understanding the morphology effect with the same composited catalyst towards energy conversion reactions,not limited to HER.

文摘Background:The reproductive health addresses the reproductive processes,functions and system at all stages of life.Enhancing the level of global reproductive health is the goal of sustained attention and struggle by the international community.The social and economic development in Southeast Asia is lagging behind,and its female reproductive health is worrying,while the differences of female reproductive health among different regions are significant.Objective:To obtains the necessity and urgency of strengthening the reproductive health level of Southeast Asian countries,so as to provide the basis for the priorities and target to policy-makers and health administrators to improve reproductive health.Methods:Literature review were searched in PubMed,Web of Science databases,Google scholar database,and WHO's webpages.Maternal mortality ratio,contraceptive rates,unmet need for family planning,antenatal and postnatal care coverage,and sexually transmitted disease were the five key indicators and the influence factors for female reproductive health status in Southeast Asian countries.Results:The reproductive health of Southeast Asian women were still at a lower level overall and varied in different regions and conntries.Women's education and attitude,accessibility of service,socioeconomic and cultural factors,etc.were the potential influencing factors.Conclusion:There is left quite large space for improvement to the reproductive health in Southeast Asian countries and efficient interventions can be achieved for the key and easier-improved risk factors such as education and in high-risk areas.
文摘Since discrete multilevel transitions of quantum-dot molecules driven by external electromagnetic fields can exhibit quantum coherence effects, such an optical characteristic can be utilized to control propagation of electromagnetic wave through a quantum-dot molecule dielectric film. Since inner-dot tunneling in quantum-dot molecules can be controlled by a gate voltage, destructive quantum coherence among multilevel transitions in quantum-dot molecule would give rise to EIT (electromagnetically induced transparency). In this report, we shall investigate controllable on- and off-resonance tunneling effects of an incident electromagnetic wave through such a quan-tum-dot-molecule dielectric film, of which the optical response is tuned by the switchable gate voltage. We have found from the theoretical mechanism that a high gate voltage can cause the EIT phenomenon of quan-tum-dot-molecule systems, and under the condition of on-resonance light tunneling through the thin film, the probe field will propagation without loss if the probe frequency detuning is zero. By taking advantage of these effects sensitive to the tunable gate voltage, such quantum coherence would be inte-grated in certain photonic structures, and some devices such as photonic switching and transistors can be designed. Transient evolution of optical characteristics in the quantum-dot-molecule dielectric film (once the tunable gate voltage is turned on or off) is also considered in this report.
文摘Based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(V2.5),we explored the compatibility rules of moxibustion and auricular point prescriptions in the treatment of urinary retention after anorectal surgery,and further to obtain new prescriptions.Methods:We searched CNKI,Wanfang,VIP and CBM databases for the literature of moxibustion and auricular point therapy for urinary retention after anorectal surgery,collecting complete prescriptions and entering them into the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(V2.5).The acupoint frequency,association rules,and combination rules were analyzed by data mining method of software integration.Results:126 moxibustion prescriptions were selected,and the acupoints for urinary retention after anorectal surgery in the literature were analyzed,including 10 acupoints with frequency≥6,9 acupoint combinations with frequency≥26,5 acupoints with association rules,6 core acupoint combinations and 3 new prescription.124 auricular point prescriptions were selected,and the relevant acupoints in the literature were analyzed,including 10 acupoints with frequency of use≥18,15 acupoint combinations with frequency≥40,12 acupoint combinations with association rules,6 core acupoint combinations,and 3 new prescriptions.The core points include Qihai(RN6),Sanyinjiao(SP6),Zhongji(RN3),Guanyuan(RN4).The auricular point therapy is more to select the tenderness points and acupoints that have an impact on the urinary system,mainly including“Pangguang”(CO9),“Shenmen”(TF4),“Shen”(CO10),“Sanjiao”(CO17),“Pizhixia”(AT4),“Niaodao”(HX3),“Fei”(CO14),“Jiaogan”(AH6a).Conclusion:Moxibustion for the treatment of urinary retention is mainly based on invigorating“Primordial Qi”and regulating the functions of“Middle Jiao”(refers to the area of the body just below the diaphragm and above the navel that helps produce delicate nutrients).The entropic clustering of complex systems excavated new prescriptions for the treatment of urinary retention after anorectal surgery,providing new ideas for future research and treatment.

文摘The response of Chrysanthemum japonense and C.nankingense to drought stress induced by polyethylene glycol was characterized at the level of leaf water status,leaf surface morphology and cuticular wax(quantity and composition),the activity of antioxidant enzymes,the extent of membrane lipid peroxidation,the accumulation of proline,photosynthesis performance and abscisic acid(ABA)accumulation.The more tolerant species C.japonense maintained its water status more effectively than C.nankingense,probably because its leaves form more cuticular wax and are able to accumulate higher levels of ABA.Superoxide dismutase activity was higher in C.japonense than in C.nankingense,as was that of catalase and ascorbate peroxidase during the later part of the stress episode,but levels of peroxidase were not differentiated at the end of the stress period.Membrane damage,as measured by electrolyte leakage and malondialdehyde accumulation,was less severe in C.japonense,which was also able to generate higher levels of free proline after a 10 h exposure to stress.Thus the superior response of C.japonense also reflects a more adapted system of osmoprotection and antioxidation.As a result,photosynthesis was compromised less by drought stress in C.japonense than in C.nankingense.That provides a scientific basis for the development and application of drought tolerance resources of chrysanthemum.

文摘A novel approach based on thermal diffusion was used to achieve controllable Mg content in A_(2)B_(7)-type La-Mg-Ni-based alloys.The formation mechanism of the A_(2)B_(7)-type phase as a result of the thermal diffusion process and the effect of Mg content on hydrogen storage performance were investigated.X-ray diffraction(XRD)patterns and Rietveld refinement results showed that increased Mg transformed the LaNi_(5)phase in the La_(0.74)Sm_(0.03)Y_(0.23)Ni_(4.32)Al_(0.04)precursor alloy into a superlattice structure.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM)images showed that Mg was evenly distributed in the alloy bulk.Mg in the superlattice significantly inhibited the phase decomposition of the superlattice structure during the hydrogen absorption/desorption cycles.An A_(2)B_(7)-type La_(0.57)Sm_(0.02)Y_(0.18)Mg_(0.23)Ni_(3.38)Al_(0.03)alloy composed of Gd_(2)Co_(7)and Ce_(2)Ni_(7)phases was successfully synthesized.The pressure-composition isotherm profiles showed that the alloy had a hydrogen storage capacity as high as 1.73 wt%,with good cycling stability.After 50 cycles of hydrogen absorption/desorption,the alloy retained a hydrogen storage capacity of 1.45 wt%,with a capacity retention rate of up to 84.28%.The Mg thermal diffusion process thus provides a new approach for the controlled preparation of La-Mg-Ni-based alloys.

文摘Background:Non‐small cell lung cancer(NSCLC),including the lung squamous cell carcinoma(LUSC)and lung adenocarcinoma(LUAD)subtypes,is a malignant tumor type with a poor 5‐year survival rate.The identification of new powerful diagnostic biomarkers,prognostic biomarkers,and potential therapeutic targets in NSCLC is urgently required.Methods:The UCSC Xena,UALCAN,and GEO databases were used to screen and analyze differentially expressed genes,regulatory modes,and genetic/epigenetic alterations in NSCLC.The UCSC Xena database,GEO database,tissue microarray,and immunohistochemistry staining analyses were used to evaluate the diagnostic and prognostic values.Gain‐of‐function assays were performed to examine the roles.The ESTIMATE,TIMER,Linked Omics,STRING,and DAVID algorithms were used to analyze potential molecular mechanisms.Results:NR3C2 was identified as a potentially important molecule in NSCLC.NR3C2 is expressed at low levels in NSCLC,LUAD,and LUSC tissues,which is significantly related to the clinical indexes of these patients.Receiver operating characteristic curve analysis suggests that the altered NR3C2 expression patterns have diagnostic value in NSCLC,LUAD,and especially LUSC patients.Decreased NR3C2 expression levels can help predict poor prognosis in NSCLC and LUAD patients but not in LUSC patients.These results have been confirmed both with database analysis and real‐world clinical samples on a tissue microarray.Copy number variation contributes to low NR3C2 expression levels in NSCLC and LUAD,while promoter DNA methylation is involved in its downregulation in LUSC.Two NR3C2 promoter methylation sites have high sensitivity and specificity for LUSC diagnosis with clinical application potential.NR3C2 may be a key participant in NSCLC development and progression and is closely associated with the tumor microenvironment and immune cell infiltration.NR3C2 co‐expressed genes are involved in many cancer‐related signaling pathways,further supporting a potentially significant role of NR3C2 in NSCLC.Conclusions:NR3C2 is a novel potential diagnostic and prognostic biomarker and therapeutic target in NSCLC.

文摘Introduction:In order to enhance the effectiveness of resource allocation,regions must tailor their responses to their specific epidemiological and economic situations.Methods:Utilizing Spectrum software,we projected the cost-effectiveness of 10 chosen HIV interventions in six cities in eastern China from 2019 to 2028.We assessed three scenarios—Base,Achievable,and Idealized—for each city.The analysis included the projected number of HIV infections and deaths averted,as well as the incremental costeffectiveness ratios for each intervention in the six cities.Results:In Shijiazhuang,Wuxi,Yantai,and Zhenjiang,cities with initially low antiretroviral therapy(ART)coverage,ART showed significant effectiveness,especially for males.Conversely,in Foshan and Ningbo,where ART coverage was notably high,oral pre-exposure prophylaxis(PrEP)for men who have sex with men(MSM)proved effective in the Idealized scenario.MSM outreach,ART for males,and ART for females demonstrated cost-effectiveness across all six cities in both Achievable and Idealized scenarios at the predefined thresholds for each city.Discussion:Maintaining an appropriate coverage rate for outreach to MSM can lead to costeffectiveness.In cities with low ART coverage,scaling up ART remains a crucial intervention.In regions with high ART coverage,consideration may be given to the utilization of oral PrEP for MSM individuals,requiring budget allocation.

文摘Objective:To explore the effect of moxibustion for preventing post-hemorrhoidectomy urinary retention of mixed hemorrhoids.Design:Two-arm randomized clinical trial with blinded outcome assessment and statistician.Setting:Anorectal Department of Changshu Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine,from October 2020 to a cutoff day in March 2021.Participants:120 patients with mixed hemorrhoids undertaken hemorrhoidectomy.Interventions:In the moxibustion group,moxibustion was exerted after surgery at Zhongji(CV3),Qihai(CV6),Guanyuan(CV4)and Sanyinjiao(SP6,bilateral).In the medication group,tamsulosin was administered orally after surgery.The cases were all observed for 24 h in two groups.Outcome measures:The primary outcome was incidence of post-hemorrhoidectomy urinary retention and the secondary outcomes included time to the first voiding,the first voiding volume and adverse events were measured and compared between two groups.Results:Sixty patients in each group were included in the data analysis and no change was made to the design of the trial after the trial begun.After treatment,the incidence of the post-hemorrhoidectomy urinary retention was 5%in the moxibustion group,lower than 20%in the medication group(P<0.05).The time to the first voiding after surgery was(4.76±1.69)h in the moxibustion group,shorter than(6.81±1.15)h in the medication group(P<0.05).The first voiding volume in the moxibustion group was(300.67±110.33)mL,higher than(224.67±90.88)mL in the medication group(P<0.05).There was no adverse event during study in the moxibustion group.Dizziness and nausea occurred in the medication group.Conclusion:Moxibustion reduced the incidence of post-hemorrhoidectomy urinary retention,shortened the time to the first voiding and improved the urine volume after hemorrhoidectomy of mixed hemorroids.This therapy could be beneficial and safe,and thus could be recommended to the clinical practice.
