Tree-ring chronologies were developed for Sabina saltuaria and Abies faxoniana in mixed forests in the Qionglai Mountains of the eastern Tibetan Plateau.Climate-growth relationship analysis indicated that the two co-exist-ing species reponded similarly to climate factors,although S.saltuaria was more sensitive than A.faxoniana.The strong-est correlation was between S.saltuaria chronology and regional mean temperatures from June to November.Based on this relationship,a regional mean temperature from June to November for the period 1605-2016 was constructed.Reconstruction explained 37.3%of the temperature variance during th period 1961-2016.Six major warm periods and five major cold periods were identified.Spectral analysis detected significant interannual and multi-decadal cycles.Reconstruction also revealed the influence of the Atlantic Multi-decadal Oscillation,confirming its importance on climate change on the eastern Tibetan Plateau. 展开更多

Polyethylene oxide(PEO)-based electrolytes have obvious merits such as strong ability to dissolve salts(e.g.,LiTFSI)and high flexibility,but their applications in solid-state batteries is hindered by the low ion conductance and poor mechanical and thermal properties.Herein,poly(m-phenylene isophthalamide)(PMIA)is employed as a multifunctional additive to improve the overall properties of the PEO-based electrolytes.The hydrogen-bond interactions between PMIA and PEO/TFSI-can effectively prevent the PEO crystallization and meanwhile facilitate the LiTFSI dissociation,and thus greatly improve the ionic conductivity(two times that of the pristine electrolyte at room temperature).With the incorporation of the high-strength PMIA with tough amide-benzene backbones,the PMIA/PEO-LiTFSI composite polymer electrolyte(CPE)membranes also show much higher mechanical strength(2.96 MPa),thermostability(4190℃)and interfacial stability against Li dendrites(468 h at 0.10 mA cm-2)than the pristine electrolyte(0.32 MPa,364℃and short circuit after 246 h).Furthermore,the CPE-based LiFePO4/Li cells exhibit superior cycling stability(137 mAh g^-1 with 93%retention after 100 cycles at 0.5 C)and rate performance(123 mAh g^-1 at 1.0 C).This work provides a novel and effective CPE structure design strategy to achieve comprehensively-upgraded electrolytes for promising solid-state battery applications. 展开更多

Li-rich layered oxide cathodes have received considerable attention because of the high operating potential and specific capacity. However, the structural instability and parasitic reactions at high potential cause severe degradation of the electrochemical performance. In our studies, the cycling stability of Li_(1.14)Ni_(0.133)Co_(0.133)Mn_(0.544)O_(2) cathode is improved with LiPO_(2)F_(2) electrolyte additive. After 500 cycles, the capacity retention is increased from 53.6% to 85% at 3 C by LiPO_(2)F_(2) modification. This performance is mainly attributed to the enhanced interfacial stability of the Li-rich cathode. Based on systematic characterization, LiPO_(2)F_(2) additive was found to promote a stable interface film on the cathode surface during the cycling and mitigates the interfacial side reactions. This study provides new insights for improving high-potential Li-rich layered oxide batteries. 展开更多

All-solid-state lithium batteries(ASSLBs),utilizing sulfide solid electrolyte,are considered as the promising design on account of their superior safety and high energy density,whereas the time-consuming preparation process of sulfide electrolyte powders and the thickness of electrolyte layer hinder their practical application.Herein,an innovative ultimate-energy mechanical alloying plus rapid thermal processing approach is employed to rapidly synthesize the crystalline Argyrodite-type conductor Li_(5.3)PS_(4.3)ClBr_(0.7)(LPSCIBr)with superior ionic conductivity(11.7 mS cm^(-1)).Furthermore,to realize the higher energy density of the battery,an ultrathin LPSCIBr sulfide electrolyte membrane with superior ionic conductivity of 6.5 mS cm^(-1)is fabricated with the aid of polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)binder and the reinforced cellulose mesh.Moreover,a simple solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)is constructed on the surface of lithium metal to enhance anodic stability.Benefiting from the joint efforts of these merits,the modified ASSLBs with a high cell-level energy density of 311 Wh kg^(-1) show an excellent cyclic stability.The assembled all-solid-state Li_(2) S/Li pouch cell can operate even under the severe conditions of bending and cutting,demonstrating the enormous potential of the sulfide electrolyte membrane for ASSLBs application. 展开更多

3D printing is a promising technology used in the fabrication of complex oral dosage delivery pharmaceuticals.This study first reports an innovative color jet 3D printing(CJ-3DP)technology to produce colorful cartoon ... 3D printing is a promising technology used in the fabrication of complex oral dosage delivery pharmaceuticals.This study first reports an innovative color jet 3D printing(CJ-3DP)technology to produce colorful cartoon levetiracetam pediatric preparations with high accuracy and reproducibility.For this study,the ideal printing ink consisted of 40%(v/v)isopropanol aqueous solution containing 0.05%(w/w)polyvinylpyrrolidone and 4%(w/w)glycerin,which was satisfied with scale-up of the production.The external and internal spatial structures of the tablets were designed to control the appearance and release,and cartoon tablets with admirable appearances and immediate release characteristics were printed.The dosage model showed a good linear relationship between the model volume and the tablet strength(r>0.999),which proved the potential of personalized administration.The surface roughness indicated that the appearance of the CJ-3DP tablets was significantly better than the first listed 3D printed drug(Spritam R).Moreover,the scanning electron microscopy and porosity results further showed that the tablets have a structure of loose interior and tight exterior,which could ensure good mechanical properties and rapid dispersion characteristics simultaneously.In conclusion,the innovative CJ-3DP technology can be used to fabricate personalized pediatric preparations for improved compliance.Due to the stable formulation and fabrication process,this technology has the potential in scale-up production. 展开更多

Understanding corm development in flower bulbs is of importance for securing the quality of cut flowers and propagation of commercial stocks.Gladiolus is one of the most popular bulb plants worldwide.Its corm development is characterized by starch accumulation.Previous research has shown that phytohormones(especially gibberellin(GA))are involved in tuber development.However,the relationship between abscisic acid(ABA)/GA and starch during corm development remains unclear.To gain deeper insights into the biological process of corm development,we performed a detailed anatomical characterization of different stages of corm development and analyzed phytohormone levels.Our study showed that corm development is linked to hormones(ABA and GA)and carbohydrates(sucrose and starch).Exogenous hormone treatment and silencing of endogenous hormone biosynthesis genes indicated that ABA positively regulates corm development,while GA acts as an antagonist of ABA function.A sucrose synthase gene(GhSUS2)was shown to be involved in the antagonism between ABA and GA.GhSUS2 was upregulated by ABA and downregulated by GA.The increase in the transcript level of GhSUS2 coincided with the development of corm/cormels.Silencing of GhSUS2 repressed corm development and starch accumulation.In conclusion,we propose that GhSUS2,an essential enzyme in sucrose degradation,is differentially regulated by ABA and GA and controls corm development in Gladiolus. 展开更多

Scour has been widely accepted as a key reason for bridge failures.Bridges are susceptible and sensitive to the scour phenomenon,which describes the loss of riverbed sediments around the bridge supports because of flow.The carrying capacity of a deep-water foundation is influenced by the formation of a scour hole,which means that a severe scour can lead to a bridge failure without warning.Most of the current scour predictions are based on deterministic models,while other loads at bridges are usually provided as probabilistic values.To integrate scour factors with other loads in bridge design and research,a quantile regression model was utilized to estimate scour depth.Field data and experimental data from previous studies were collected to build the model.Moreover,scour estimations using the HEC-18 equation and the proposed method were compared.By using the“CCC(Calculate,Confirm,and Check)”procedure,the probabilistic concept could be used to calculate various scour depths with the targeted likelihood according to a specified chance of bridge failure.The study shows that with a sufficiently large and continuously updated database,the proposed model could present reasonable results and provide guidance for scour mitigation. 展开更多

Theemergence of deep learning theory and method provides a new opportunity for theresearch of object tracking, and it is also the main theoretical framework for the researchof moving object tracking algorithm in this paper. In this paper, the existing deeptracking-based target tracking algorithms are classified and sorted out. Based on theprevious knowledge and my own understanding, several solutions are proposed for theexisting methods. In addition, the existing deep learning target tracking method is stilldifficult to meet the requirements of real-time, how to design the network and trackingprocess to achieve speed and effect improvement, there is still a lot of research space. 展开更多

Path planning is a crucial concern in the field of mobile robotics,particularly in complex scenarios featuring narrow passages.Sampling-based planners,such as the widely utilized probabilistic roadmap(PRM),have been extensively employed in various robot applications.However,PRM’s utilization of random node sampling often results in disconnected graphs,posing a significant challenge when dealing with narrow passages.In order to tackle this issue,we present equipotential line sampling strategy for probabilistic roadmap(EPL-PRM),a novel approach derived from PRM.This paper initially proposes a sampling potential field,followed by the construction of equipotential lines that are denser in the proximity of obstacles and narrow passages.Random sampling is subsequently conducted along these lines.Consequently,the sampling strategy enhances the likelihood of sampling nodes around obstacles and narrow passages,thereby addressing the issue of sparsity encountered in traditional sampling-based planners.Furthermore,we introduce a nodal optimization method based on an artificial repulsive field,which prompts sampled nodes to move in the direction of repulsion.As a result,nodes around obstacles are distributed more uniformly,while nodes within narrow passages gravitate toward the middle of the passages.Finally,extensive simulations are conducted to evaluate the proposed method.The results demonstrate that our approach achieves path planning with superior efficiency,lower cost,and higher reliability compared with traditional algorithms. 展开更多

Simultaneously integrating heterogeneous interface,element doping,and metal decorating was a promising strategy to promote the visible-light-driven photocatalytic activity.Herein,we demonstrated a facile solvothermal route for Ni-doped BiOBr/Bi^(0) with ZnO 3D hierarchical heterojunction(denoted as Z@B/BiNi).The optimal photocatalysts of Z@B/Bi-Ni sample presented a remarkable catalytic performance of high concentrations of tetracycline solution(40 mg/L)than those of the Z@B/Bi,Z@B,BOB and ZnO photocatalysts toward the visible-light-driven degradation.The enhanced photocatalytic mechanism can be proposed as follows:(ⅰ)3D hierarchical heterojunction provided more active sites and accelerated the separation of charge carriers for photocatalytic TC;(ⅱ)formation of oxygen vacancies on the surface over Z@B/Bi-Ni by in-situ reduction of Bi^(0) and Ni doping could serve as the active sites for oxygen activation to adsorb free O_(2) and generate more superoxide radicals;(ⅲ)SPR effect of Bi metal were beneficial to carrier separation and also act as the active site to trap O_(2) molecules.This work clarified the role of unique morphologies,surface plasmonic resonance(SPR)effect of metal Bi,and Ni doping in Z@B/Bi-Ni,and its photocatalytic reaction mechanism was proposed by a series of experiments,characterization and DFT calculations,arousing a new perspective to design hierarchical heterojunction photocatalysts. 展开更多

Non-exosomal non-coding RNAs(non-exo-ncRNAs)and exosomal ncRNAs(exo-ncRNAs)have been associated with the pathological development of myocardial infarction(MI).Accordingly,this analytical review provides an overview of current MI studies on the role of plasma non-exo/exo-ncRNAs.We summarize the features and crucial roles of ncRNAs and reveal their novel biological correlations via bioinformatics analysis.The following contributions are made:(1)we comprehensively describe the expression profile,competing endogenous RNA(ceRNA)network,and“pre-necrotic”biomarkers of non-exo/exo-ncRNAs for MI;(2)functional enrichment analysis indicates that the target genes of ncRNAs are enriched in the regulation of apoptotic signaling pathway and cellular response to chemical stress,etc.;(3)we propose an updated and comprehensive view on the mechanisms,pathophysiology,and biomarker roles of non-exo/exo-ncRNAs in MI,thereby providing a theoretical basis for the clinical management of MI. 展开更多

Fluorescent polymer dots(Pdots)have the advantages of excellent optical properties,great biocompatibility and high photostability.Herein,we feed ultra-low doses Pdots to silkworms for the first time and aim to prepare dual-performance modified silks.After Pdots feeding,the fluorescence signal of cocoons and degummed silks increases significantly,which is more stable and more uniform than that of post-treatment silks.Moreover,Pdots hinder the conformation transformation of silk fibroin and improve the mechanical property of twisted silk strand.The highest elongation at break point is 20.75±0.03% and breaking strength is 271.7±3.8 MPa.With excellent fluorescence and mechanical properties,the optimized silks are successfully applied as a scaffold for cell culture and imaging.Furthermore,we investigate the metabolism of Pdots in the silkworms for understanding the behaviours of Pdots in the process of silks synthesis and secretion. 展开更多
