Florets are the basic structural units of spikelets,and their morphogenesis determines the yield and quality of rice grains.However,whether and how pseudouridine-5’-phosphate glycosidase participates in rice spikelet development remains an open question.In this study,we identified a novel gene,OsPPG,which encodes a peroxisome-localized pseudouridine-5’-phosphate glycosidase and regulates the development of rice spikelets.osppg mutants exhibited abnormal sterile lemma,lemma,palea,lodicule,stamens,and pistils;male sterility;shorter panicles;and reduced plant height.OsPPG was found to regulate several OsMADS genes,thereby affecting the morphogenesis of rice spikelets.Furthermore,metabolomics revealed that the OsPPG gene was involved in the decomposition of pseudouridine via the pyrimidine metabolism pathway and may affect the jasmonic acid signaling pathway.These results suggest that OsPPG is a key regulator of rice spikelet development. 展开更多

Removal Effect of Precipitation on Atmospheric Particulate Matter (PM_(2.5) ) in Bengbu City

Based on the monitoring data of PM_(2.5) concentration in Bengbu Environmental Monitoring Station and precipitation observation data of Bengbu National Meteorological Observation Station from 2016 to 2019, the influence of precipitation on PM_(2.5) mass concentration in Bengbu City was analyzed. The results show that precipitation had a washing and removal effect on PM_(2.5) in the air, and the removal effect was related to precipitation level, precipitation intensity, precipitation duration and PM_(2.5) concentration. The removal effect of precipitation on PM_(2.5) increased with the increase of precipitation level, and the seasonal difference was obvious. Precipitation intensity was positively correlated with the removal effect of PM_(2.5) , but the average removal rate began to decline when precipitation intensity exceeded 10 mm. With the increase of precipitation intensity, the proportion of positive removal showed an overall upward trend, but there was a low-value area as precipitation intensity was 3-10 mm. Precipitation duration was also positively correlated with the removal effect of PM_(2.5) , and there was a low-value area when precipitation duration was 10-15 h. When PM_(2.5) concentration was low before the precipitation process began, the removal effect was not good, and the average removal rate was negative. Based on the daily meteorological data of Bengbu City during 1981-2020,the changing characteristics of three elements needed for the calculation of the comfort index of human body(CIHB)were discussed,and daily CIHB was classified and discussed.The results show that from 1981 to 2020,annual average temperature tended to increase significantly.Annual average wind speed and relative humidity showed a decreasing trend before 2011 but an increasing trend after 2011.The duration of the four seasons in Bengbu City mainly rose in spring,reduced in winter,declined first and then increased in summer,and rose first and then decreased in autumn.As CIHB was at grades 1 and 9(the most uncomfortable),the three factors had different effects on them.For cold weather,the influence of relative humidity and wind speed on CIHB can not be ignored besides temperature.In hot weather,the influence of temperature was dominant,and the change of annual average temperature could well correspond to the change in the number of very hot days.In the context of climate warming,the number of cold days tended to decline generally,but it was larger in the years with fewer very cold days.Under the background of climate warming,there was no obvious change in the number of days of the overall comfort of human body.The number of hot days was closely related to the duration of summer,and the number of days of grade 8 rose significantly in the years with an increase in the duration of summer. 展开更多

Layered double hydroxides(LDHs)are promising electrode candidates for supercapacitors.However,lim-itations like inferior cycling stability and unsatisfactory charge storage capability at low temperatures have exerted negative effects on their applications.Herein,a novel synthetic process has been elaborately designed and provided to have the composition and structure of the C/N-NiCoMn-LDH/Ag(C/N-CNMA)delicately regulated.Both the experimental and theoretical researches unveil that the incorporated manganese species and elemental silver could dramatically modulate the bandgap,crystallinity and surface electron structure of the LDH,leading to the remarkable improvement in its conductivity,exposed active sites and intrinsic electrochemical activity,and thus the OH^(*)and O^(*)adsorption free energy could be remarkably optimized,even at low temperatures.In addition,the low crystallinity C/N-CNMA is of great electrochemical compatibility with both the KOH aqueous electrolyte and the isobutyl alcohol(IPA)modulated organohydrogel electrolyte.By means of adjusting the solvation and hydrogen bonding in the electrolytes,the assembled hybrid supercapacitors deliver excellent energy density,power density and cycling stability in the temperature range of-30 to 25℃.Specifically,the gel electrolyte with IPA as the anti-freezing functional additive displays high flexibility and ionic conductivity at low temperatures. 展开更多
