[Objectives]To enrich the species resources of Tianjin,Aornia melanocarpa was introduced and cultivated in 4 districts of Tianjin.[Methods]Two consecutive years of observation in 2018-2019 and research on the phenological period,high yield and fruit economic traits in 4 districts of Tianjin were carried out.[Results]The A.melanocarpa of the Linhai Jiayuan Experimental Site in Jinghai District has larger single fruit weight,higher nutrient composition,stronger plant growth,higher yield and storage stability,so this site can be used as a main planting base for large-scale planting of A.melanocarpa;the experimental site of Tianjin Agricultural University East Campus and the experimental site of Cuiping Lake Science Park of Jizhou District have a sour and astringent taste but relatively low yield,need to be processed as by-products in combination with market prices to determine whether to plant;the experimental site of Tianjin Agricultural University West Campus has low yield,small fruit and poor taste,and the planting effect is the worst among the four experimental sites.[Conclusions]From the overall economic traits of fruits,the fruits produced in the experimental site of Jinghai District have sufficient weight,high solid-acid ratio,and relatively high nutrient content,thus this experimental site can be used as large-scale cultivation base for A.melanocarpa. 展开更多

Physiological Effects of Alkaline Stress on Seedlings of Lonicera caerulea L.

[Objectives]This study was conducted to clarify the saline-alkali tolerance in seedlings of Lonicera caerulea L.[Methods]The L.caerulea seedling variety,Lanjingling,was used as the test material,and alkaline solution(NaHCO 3)with different concentration gradients was used for stress treatment to observe physiological effects on L.caerulea seedlings.[Results]L.caerulea seedlings were most affected by alkaline stress at a treatment concentration of 100 mmol/L,and their osmotic substances(proline,soluble sugar,soluble protein)and antioxidant enzymes(CAT,SOD and POD)were higher in content at a concentration of 100 mmol/L compared with the alkaline stresses in this range.The contents were generally higher,and even in the detection of proline,soluble sugar,SOD and POD,the contents of these substances and enzymes reached a peak at 100 mmol/L.The contents of soluble sugar,CAT,SOD,POD and malondialdehyde were generally higher than that of the control check(CK),and the contents of proline and soluble protein in each treatment concentration were generally higher than that of the CK.[Conclusions]The metabolic physiology of L.caerulea seedlings has a certain adaptability to alkaline stress. 展开更多

This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of mycophenolate mofetil(MMF)or tacrolimus(TAC)compared with azathioprine(AZA)as maintenance therapy for active lupus nephritis(ALN).Patients with ALN who responded to 24 weeks of induction treatment were enrolled.Patients who received MMF or TAC as induction therapy continued MMF or TAC treatment during the maintenance period,whereas those who received intravenous cyclophosphamide were subjected to AZA treatment.The primary endpoint was the incidence of renal relapse.Secondary endpoints included extrarenal flares and composite endpoints(deaths,end-stage renal disease,or doubling of serum creatinine levels).A total of 123 ALN patients(47 in the MMF group,37 in the TAC group,and 39 in the AZA group)were enrolled.The median follow-up time was 60 months.Ten MMF-treated patients,ten TAC-treated patients,and eight AZA-treated patients experienced renal relapses(P=0.844).The cumulative renal relapse rates in the MMF group(P=0.934)and TAC group(P=0.673)were similar to the renal relapse rate in the AZA group.No significant difference in the incidence of severe adverse event was observed among the groups.Long-term maintenance therapies with MMF or TAC might have similarly low rates of renal relapse and similar safety profiles compared with AZA. 展开更多
