An Adaptive Control Strategy for Energy Storage Interface Converter Based on Analogous Virtual Synchronous Generator

In the DC microgrid,the lack of inertia and damping in power electronic converters results in poor stability of DC bus voltage and low inertia of the DC microgrid during fluctuations in load and photovoltaic power.To address this issue,the application of a virtual synchronous generator(VSG)in grid-connected inverters control is referenced and proposes a control strategy called the analogous virtual synchronous generator(AVSG)control strategy for the interface DC/DC converter of the battery in the microgrid.Besides,a flexible parameter adaptive control method is introduced to further enhance the inertial behavior of the AVSG control.Firstly,a theoretical analysis is conducted on the various components of the DC microgrid,the structure of analogous virtual synchronous generator,and the control structure’s main parameters related to the DC microgrid’s inertial behavior.Secondly,the voltage change rate tracking coefficient is introduced to adjust the change of the virtual capacitance and damping coefficient flexibility,which further strengthens the inertia trend of the DC microgrid.Additionally,a small-signal modeling approach is used to analyze the approximate range of the AVSG’s main parameters ensuring system stability.Finally,conduct a simulation analysis by building the model of the DC microgrid system with photovoltaic(PV)and battery energy storage(BES)in MATLAB/Simulink.Simulation results from different scenarios have verified that the AVSG control introduces fixed inertia and damping into the droop control of the battery,resulting in a certain level of inertia enhancement.Furthermore,the additional adaptive control strategy built upon the AVSG control provides better and flexible inertial support for the DC microgrid,further enhances the stability of the DC bus voltage,and has a more positive impact on the battery performance. 展开更多

A dramatic improvement of strength and ductility of cast Al-2.5Li-1.5Cu-1Zn-0.5Mg-0.15 Zr alloy was obtained by the collaboration of Sc-alloying and optimized ageing scheme.Joint and independent influence of Sc-alloying and different ageing temperatures were investigated.The results revealed that a substantial increase was realized in the hardness of Sc-containing alloy,and the ageing response time was only influenced by ageing temperature.Coarse and heterogeneousδ'(Al_(3)Li),wideδ'-precipitation free zones(δ'-PFZs),and a large amount of T_(1)(Al_(2)CuLi)precipitates were observed in Sc-containing alloy aged at 175℃,which resulted in superior yield strength and poor elongation.The Sc-containing alloy obtained an excellent combination of ductility(elongation=8.2%)and tensile strength(ultimate strength=565 MPa)suffered to 150℃ ageing for 64 h.The increase in the elongation was mainly due to the combined effect of grain refining,much finerδ',and extremely narrowδ'-PFZs(<10 nm),while the higher strength was mainly attributed to the formation of Al_(3)(Sc,Zr,Li)composite particles and a large amount of S'(Al_(2)CuMg)phase.However,the enhancement of the different ageing temperature(150℃ and 175℃)on the mechanical properties of the alloys without Sc addition was not obvious. 展开更多

Vibration-assisted grinding is one of the most promising technologies for manufacturing optical components due to its efficiency and quality advantages.However,the damage and crack propagation mechanisms of materials in vibration-assisted grinding are not well understood.In order to elucidate the mechanism of abrasive scratching during vibration-assisted grinding,a kinematic model of vibration scratching was developed.The influence of process parameters on the evolution of vibration scratches to indentation or straight scratches is revealed by displacement metrics and velocity metrics.Indentation,scratch and vibration scratch experiments were performed on quartz glass,and the results showed that the vibration scratch cracks are a combination of indentation cracks and scratch cracks.Vibration scratch cracks change from indentation cracks to scratch cracks as the indenter moves from the entrance to the exit of the workpiece or as the vibration frequency changes from high to low.A vertical vibration scratch stress field model is established for the first time,which reveals that the maximum principal stress and tensile stress distribution is the fundamental cause for inducing the transformation of the vibration scratch cracking system.This model provides a theoretical basis for understanding of the mechanism of material damage and crack propagation during vibration-assisted grinding. 展开更多
