The discrimination of liquors plays a vital role in our daily life as a large amount of cheap alcoholic beverages and low-quality counterfeits greatly damage the health of consumers.Array-based optical sensors have be...The discrimination of liquors plays a vital role in our daily life as a large amount of cheap alcoholic beverages and low-quality counterfeits greatly damage the health of consumers.Array-based optical sensors have been developed as a fast and effective tool to discriminate multi-analytes or complex mixtures with similar structures,such as acids,esters,aldehydes and ketones.Over the past decades,optical sensor arrays have demonstrated remarkable capabilities in fast and accurate detection of diverse types,qualities,and authentic liquors.The identification strategy mainly focuses on the specific/non-specific interactions of flavor compounds in liquors with sensor elements.The cross-reactive optical signal readouts from the combination of sensor elements with liquors and multiple machine learning algorithms are essential to ensure the discriminatory capability of sensing system.In this review,we discuss the advantages and recent advances in pattern recognition of liquors in terms of the design of various types of sensing materials and the construction strategies of sensor arrays.展开更多
Requirements of the Internet of things for the network includes the ability to monitor the equipment and devices.Nowadays,the reliability of a power electronics converter has raised concerns of both academia and indus...Requirements of the Internet of things for the network includes the ability to monitor the equipment and devices.Nowadays,the reliability of a power electronics converter has raised concerns of both academia and industry.In particular,power semiconductor devices are continuously exposed to excessive stress while being designed with high power handling capability and are considered as the most fragile component in power converters suffering from a high failure rate.Aiming to find an effective monitoring method which is also helpful for the Internet of Things and improve the reliability of a three-level neutral-point-clamped power inverter,an in-situ health monitoring method is proposed by harnessing the inverter operational characteristics and degradation sensitive electrical parameters to address the IGBT wire bonding faults.The zero voltage state provides an inherent redundant feature that allows for a power switch to be diagnosed during its normal operation in a neutralpoint-clamped power inverter.The proposed prognostic approach obtains both the wire bonding failure features and junction temperature from the terminals of an IGBT module,which is regarded as non-invasive on-line health monitoring.The system performance can be affected by the designated testing point and testing window,which is discussed and experimentally validated.The proposed technique allows unhealthy wire bonding in IGBT modules online monitoring during the operational period of the inverter.And the proposed in-situ health monitoring of IGBT modules can be used for the industrial Internet of things.展开更多

Objective:To compare the degree of agreement and consistency of urodynamic studies(UDS)with low urinary tract symptoms(LUTS)questionnaires for evaluating LUTS in cervical cancer patients following radical hysterectomy...Objective:To compare the degree of agreement and consistency of urodynamic studies(UDS)with low urinary tract symptoms(LUTS)questionnaires for evaluating LUTS in cervical cancer patients following radical hysterectomy(RH)and pelvic lymphadenectomy.Methods:From January 2012 to March 2015,204 cervical cancer patients who underwent RH in 13 hospitals were evaluated using the Incontinence Questionnaire-Female Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms(ICIQ-FLUTS)and the Overactive Bladder Symptom Score(OABSS).Urodynamic tests were also performed on these patients during the same period.Results:Study participants’age ranged from 23 to 75 years,with a mean(standard deviation)of 48.0±9.3 years.Using questionnaires,the prevalence of patients with LUTS symptoms,including storage symptoms,voiding symptoms,stress urinary incontinence(SUI)and overactive bladder(OAB)was 86.3%,77.0%,62.7%,52.9%and 14.7%,respectively.For UDS,the corresponding prevalence was 89.7%,70.1%,66.7%,46.6%and 13.2%,respectively.The diagnostic concordance of questionnaires and UDS for storage symptoms,voiding symptoms,SUI and OAB was 79.9%,66.7%,66.7%,57.4%and 79.9%,respectively.For voiding symptoms,the correlation coefficient was 0.272,which was higher than that of storage symptoms,SUI and OAB.展开更多
