We report here a case of a 20 year-old, otherwise healthy female patient noted to have developed abdominal and pelvic abscesses secondary to Streptococcus anginosus infection. Although the inciting focus of the pathogen remains unclear in our patient, this case report emphasizes the importance of rapid identification of the organism and highlights the approach to therapeutic options in the management of such cases.展开更多
