Spectral Fittings of Warm Coronal Radiation with High Seed Photon Temperature:Apparent Low-temperature and Flat Soft Excess in AGNs

A warm corona has been widely proposed to explain the soft excess(SE)in X-ray above the 2-10 ke V power law extrapolation in Active Galactic Nuclei(AGNs).In actual spectral fittings,the warm coronal seed photon temperature(T_s)is usually assumed to be far away from the soft X-ray,but kT_scan reach close to 0.1 ke V in the standard accretion disk model.In this study,we used Monte Carlo simulations to obtain radiation spectra from a slab-like warm corona and fitted the spectra using the spherical-geometry-based routine THCOMP or a thermal component.Our findings reveal tha high T_scan influence the fitting results.A moderately high kT_s(around 0.03 ke V)can result in an apparent low-temperature and flat SE,while an extremely high kT_s(around 0.07 ke V)can even produce an unobserved blackbody-like SE.Our conclusions indicate that,for spectral fittings of the warm coronal radiation(SE in AGNs),kT_sshould be treated as a free parameter with an upper limit,and an accurate coronal geometry is necessary when kT_s>0.01 ke V. 展开更多

The simultaneous strengthening of mechanical and magnetic properties is an ideal fabrication strategy for soft-magnetic materials. A non-equiatomic Al19Co20Fe20Ni41 eutectic high-entropy alloy was prepared to investigate the alloying effect of B on the microstructure evolution, phase formation, mechanical and soft-magnetic properties. With the increase in B content, the microstructures of(Al19Co20Fe20Ni41)100-xBx alloys transformed from the initial lamellar eutectic structure(x=0) to the divorced eutectic structure(x>0.6). Fine borides precipitated in the intergranular phase(x≥0.6). The hardness of alloys increased from HV 328.66 to HV 436.34 and the compression mechanical performance displayed a transition from plastic material to brittle material. The Al19Co20Fe20Ni41 alloy possesses good soft-magnetic properties, and the minor B addition has little effect on it. Increasing the resistivity can effectively reduce the eddy current loss when used as a soft-magnetic material. 展开更多

The application of Bluetooth on the pH sensor was accomplished.Based on the experimental results,Bluetooth technology was used to measure pH values without limiting the distance.Moreover,Biuetooth technology provides low power, low cost and small volume,therefore,it can increase the practicability of the system.In this investigation,the pH value was detected by the SnO_2/ITO glass-based pH sensor.During the signal progress,the detected signal was transferred to the microchip PIC18.After that,the microchip was able to communicate with PC by the Bluetooth.Moreover,the microchip can diagnose the sensing signal and sends the warning signal by alert function.In addition,the part of PC has the ability to record the information,builds the database for analyzing the pH values,and provides a better long-distance monitoring system. 展开更多
