Currently, transplanting mechanisms for dryland plug seedlings in China are mainly semiautomatic and have low efficiency. The rotary seedling pick-up mechanism with a planetary gear train for non-uniform intermittent transmission, and a concave and convex locking arc device, has a large rigid impact. To solve these problems, according to the design requirements for a dryland plug seedling transplanting mechanism, a rotary seedling pick-up mechanism of a planetary gear train with combined non-circular gear transmission of incomplete eccentric circular and noncircular gears was proposed. This has the characteristics of two-times greater fluctuation of the transmission ratio in a cycle, and can achieve a non-uniform continuous drive. Through analysis of the working principle of the seedling pick-up mechanism, its kinematics model was established. The human–computer interaction optimization method and self-developed computer-aided analysis and optimization software were used to obtain a set of parameters that satisfy the operation requirements of the seedling pick-up mechanism. According to the optimized parameters, the structure of the seedling pick-up mechanism was designed, a virtual prototype of the mechanism was created, and a physical prototype was manufactured. A virtual motion simulation of the mechanism was performed, high-speed photographic kinematics tests were conducted, and the kinematic properties of the physical prototype were investigated, whereby the correctness of the theoretical model and the optimized design of the mechanism were verified. Further, laboratory seedling pick-up tests were conducted. The success ratio of seedling pick-up was 93.8% when the seedling pick-up efficiency of the mechanism was 60 plants per minute per row, indicating that the mechanism has a high efficiency and success ratio for seedling pick-up and can be applied to a dryland plug seedling transplanter. 展开更多

Design and Experimentation of Automatic Tidying and Sorting Mechanism for Blood Collection Needles in Stacking State

Disposable blood collection needles become severely intertwined and hooked during stacking, and thus individually feeding disposable blood collection needles during mechanical packaging is di cult. Based on the physical characteristics of the blood collection needles during the stacking state, this study designed an automatic tidying and sorting mechanism by combining compound vibration, sorting, and conveying. During the feeding process, the compound vibration-type material-tidying mechanism tidies 20-30 blood collection needles first;then, the material sorting and conveying mechanism transports the tidied blood collection needles individually. The orthogonal testing of the automatic material tidying process shows that various experimental factors are ranked by the significance level of the e ect on the tidying process and the significance ranking is as follows: vertical vibration frequency > horizontal amplitude > vertical amplitude > horizontal vibration frequency. Experiments were performed after analyzing the optimal combination. The results demonstrate that when the horizontal vibration frequency is 1.7 Hz, the horizontal amplitude is 150 mm, vertical vibration frequency is 1.3 Hz, vertical amplitude is 30 mm, and material length after tidying is 265 mm. The automatic sorting and conveying experiment shows the e ect of various experimental factors on the feed rate of the material, where the significance level of the e ect is ranked as follows: vibration frequency > material quantity > channel dip angle. The experimental results show that when the number of materials is 25, the channel dip angle is 12°, and vibration frequency is 52.5 Hz. The material delivery e ciency reaches 0.51 s/root, meeting the requirement of five channels for 80000 root/day feeding e ciency. The study can provide reference for the realization of automatic feeding of large aspect ratio flexible materials in similar stacking state. 展开更多

DMT:A model detecting multispecies of tea buds in multi-seasons

In China,tea products made from fresh leaves characterized by one leaf with one bud(1L1B)are classified as“Famous Tea”,which has better taste and higher economic value,but suffers from a labor shortage.Aiming at picking automation,existing studies focus on visual detection of 1L1B,but algorithm validation is limited to a specific variety of tea sprouting in a certain harvest season at a certain location,which limits the engineering application of developed tea picking robots working in various natural tea fields.To address this gap,a deep learning model DMT(detecting multispecies of tea)based on YOLOX-S was proposed in this paper.The DMT network takes YOLOX-S as a baseline and adds ECA-Net to the CSP Darknet and FPN of YOLOX-S.The average precision(AP),precision,and recall of DMT are 94.23%,93.39%,and 88.02%,respectively,for detecting 1L1B sprouting in spring;93.92%,93.56%,and 87.88%,respectively,for detecting 1L1Bsprouting in autumn.These experimental results are better than those of the five current object detection models.After fine-tuning the DMT network with another dataset composed of multiple tea varieties,the DMT network can detect 1L1B for different varieties of tea in multiple picking seasons.The results can promote the engineering application of picking automation of fresh tea leaves. 展开更多

Proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9(PCSK9)modulators may attenuate PCSK9-induced low-density lipoprotein receptor(LDLR)degradation in lysosome and promote the clearance of circulating low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C).A novel series of tetrahydroprotoberberine derivatives(THPBs)were designed,synthesized,and evaluated as PCSK9 modulators for the treatment of hyperlipidemia.Among them,eight compounds exhibited excellent activities in downregulatinghepatic PCSK9 expression better than berberine in HepG2 cells.In addition,five compounds 15,18,22,(R)-22,and(S)-22 showed better performance in the low-density lipoprotein,labeled with 1,1’-dioctadecyl-3,3,3’,3’-tetramethyl-indocarbocyanine perchlorate(Dil-LDL)uptake assay,compared with berberine at the same concentration.Compound 22,selected for in vivo evaluation,demonstrated significant reductions of total cholesterol(TC)and LDL-C in hyperlipidemic hamsters with a good pharmacokinetic profile.Further exploring of the lipid-lowering mechanism showed that compound 22 promoted hepatic LDLR expression in a dose-dependent manner in HepG2 cells.Additional results of human ether-ago-go related gene(hERG)inhibition assay indicated the potential druggability for compound 22,which is a promising lead compound for the development of PCSK9 modulator for the treatment of hyperlipidemia. 展开更多
