In China, the prevalence of PD patients with sleep disturbance ranges from 47.66% to 89.10%. Sleep disturbance usually has adverse impact on the quality of life of PD patients. Apossible pathogenesis of PD with sleep disturbance include thalamocortical pathway degeneration and changes of neurotransmitter systems.
