中医药在美国的发展进程

在美国,中医药的发展进程是发展中的补充与替代医学领域(CAM)中不可或缺的一部分。“补充”与“替代”二词经常一起或替换使用,“补充”一词指常规医疗手段以外的疗法,而“替代”一词则指用以替代常规医药手段的医疗方法。同样也有着整体医学、天然医药、心身医学或东方医药的称谓。
