It is still a challenging task to accurately and temperature-continuously express the thermodynamic properties and phase equilibrium behaviors of the salt-lake brine with multi-component,multitemperature and high concentration.The essential subsystem of sulfate type brine,aqueous Li^(+)-Na^(+)-K^(+)-SO_(4)^(2-) and its subsystems across a temperature range from 250 K to 643 K are investigated with the improved comprehensive thermodynamic model.Liquid parameters(Δg_(IJ),Δh_(IJ),and ΔC_(p,IJ))associated with the contributions of Gibbs energy,enthalpy,and heat capacity to the binary interaction parameters,i.e.the temperature coefficients of eNRTL parameters formulated with a Gibbs Helmholtz expression,are determined via multi-objective optimization method.The solid constantsΔ_(f)G_(k)°^((298.15))andΔ_(f)H_(k)°^((298.15))of11 solid species occurred in the quaternary system are rebuilt from multi-temperature solubilities.The modeling results show the accurate representation of(1)solution properties and binary phase diagram at temperature ranges from eutectic points to 643 K;(2)isothermal phase diagrams for Li_(2)SO_(4)-Na_(2)SO_(4)-H_(2)O,Li_(2)SO_(4)-K_(2)SO_(4)-H_(2)O and Na_(2)SO_(4)-K_(2)SO_(4)-H_(2)O ternary systems.The predicted results of complete structure and polythermal phase diagram of ternary systems and the isothermal phase diagrams of quaternary system excellently match with the experimental data. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Tanscatheter left atrial appendage(LAA)closure and minimally invasive thoracoscopic LAA occlusion are local interventions of LAA for stroke prevention in patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation(NVAF).However,the safety and efficacy of these methods have not been compared.This prospective cohort study aimed to assess the safety and efficacy of those two treatment approaches for stroke prevention in NVAF patients.METHODS Two hundred and nine recurrent NVAF patients who received radiofrequency ablation were enrolled.These pa-tients were treated with transcatheter LAA closure or thoracoscopic LAA occlusion.The patients were followed up from the first postoperative day and evaluated for efficacy endpoints(stroke/transient ischemic attack(TIA),systemic embolism(SE),and death)and a safety endpoint(bleeding events).Perioperative complications were recorded.RESULTS After a median follow-up of 1.8 years(383 patient-years),the overall rate of the composite efficacy endpoints was similar between the two groups(3.8 vs.2.7 events per 100 patient-years;HR=0.71;95%CI:0.225−2.237;P=0.559).However,regarding primary safety endpoint,there were 1.5 bleeding events per 100 patient-years in the thoracoscopic LAA occlusion group,com-pared with 6.4 in transcatheter LAA closure group(HR=0.246;95%CI:0.074−0.819;P=0.022).The incidence of operative com-plications was 3/138(2.17%)in thoracoscopic LAA occlusion group and 1/71(1.41%)in transcatheter LAA closure group.CONCLUSIONS Thoracoscopic LAA occlusion and transcatheter LAA closure have similar efficacy in preventing stroke in NVAF patients.However,the thoracoscopic group had fewer bleeding events than the transcatheter group,but the former group required a longer hospital stay. 展开更多

针对2018年7月10-11日青藏高原东部一次暴雨过程,利用模式模拟资料分析了有效位能分布特征,成因及其对降水发展演变的影响.结果表明,有效位能主要分布在对流层低层4km以下和高层8-14km,高层有效位能和降水有更好的对应性西北冷平流和降... 针对2018年7月10-11日青藏高原东部一次暴雨过程,利用模式模拟资料分析了有效位能分布特征,成因及其对降水发展演变的影响.结果表明,有效位能主要分布在对流层低层4km以下和高层8-14km,高层有效位能和降水有更好的对应性西北冷平流和降水粒子下落的蒸发作用是低层有效位能高值中心的主要成因,而降水过程释放潜热带来的热力扰动叠加高原大地形造成的位温扰动是导致高层有效位能高值的主要原因.有效位能收支分析表明,有效位能的通量输送项以及与动能间的转换项是主要源汇项.低层有效位能的经向通量输送和动能向有效位能的转化补给了有效位能的耗散;高层有效位能向垂直动能转化增强垂直运动是促进降水发展演变的主要因素.高层有效位能与垂直运动之间的正反馈过程使得两者相关性较强;低层较长时间内均存在垂直动能向有效位能的转化,削弱了垂直运动,而西北冷平流使得低层有效位能有增强的趋势,因此二者相关性较弱. 展开更多

Characteristics for the sources and sinks of gravity waves in an orographic heavy snowfall event

The characteristics of the mesoscale gravity waves during a snowfall event on November 30,2018 over the Ili Valley and the northern slope of the Tianshan Mountains are analyzed based on the Weather Research and Forecasting model simulation.The vertical distribution of Ro is similar to that of the residual of the nonlinear balance equation(△NBE),with their high-value areas located over the leeward slope and the fluctuations extending upwardly with time,indicating the characteristics of strong ageostrophy and non-equilibrium of atmospheric motions.In addition,the Ro and(△NBE)are first developed in the lower layers over the leeward slope,revealing that the generation of the gravity waves is closely related to the topography.Thus,the topographic uplifting greatly affects this snowfall,and the ageostrophic motion in the whole troposphere and the lower stratosphere,as well as the unbalanced motions between convergence and divergence over the peak and the leeward slope are conductive to the development of the inertia-gravity waves.In terms of the horizontal scale of the gravity waves,the Barnes’bandpass filter is applied to separate the mesoscale waves and the synoptic-scale basic flow.The vertical distributions of the vorticity and divergence perturbations have a phase difference ofπ/2,indicating the polarization state of gravity waves.The analyses on the sources and sinks of gravity waves by the non-hydrostatic wave equation show that the main forcing term for orographic gravity waves is the second-order nonlinear term,whose magnitude mainly depends on the nonlinear thermal forcing.This term is mainly related to the vertical transport of potential temperature perturbations.During the snowfall,the potential temperature perturbations are mainly caused by the topographic relief and the release of condensation latent heat.Therefore,the gravity waves in this snowfall are caused by the topographic forcing and condensation latent heating. 展开更多

Background: High rate of in-stent restenosis (ISR) remained an unsolved clinical problem in clinical practice, especially among patients with diabetes mellitus (DM). Diabetic patients often had hypertriglyceridemia with elevated levels of very low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (VLDL-C). Increasing evidence suggested that VLDL-C was known as a significant risk factor for atherosclerosis and had been recommended as a treatment target by current dyslipidemia guidelines. However, the role of VLDL-C in the occurrence and development of ISR in coronary artery disease (CAD) patients with DM had not been studied. The aim of this study was to evaluate the association between the elevated levels of VLDL-C and the risk of ISR in CAD patients with DM. Methods: A total of 1390 diabetic patients, who underwent coronary drug-eluting stent (DES) implantation at Beijing Anzhen Hospital and followed up by angiography within 6–24 months, were consecutively enrolled. Patients' demographic and clinical characteristics, including age, gender, CAD risk factors, family history, life style, medical history, and coronary angiographic information, were collected carefully at baseline percutaneous coronary intervention and follow-up angiography. Multivariate Cox&#39;s proportional hazards regression modeling using the step-wise method (entry, 0.05; removal, 0.05) was used to determine the independent risk associated with ISR in diabetic patients. Results: Finally, 1206 of patients were included in this study. ISR occurred in 132/1206 diabetic patients (10.9%) by follow-up angiography. Patients with ISR had elevated median serum VLDL-C levels compared with those without ISR (0.65 mmol/L vs. 0.52 mmol/L, P = 0.030). The multivariate regression analysis showed that VLDL-C was significantly associated with the risk of ISR in diabetic CAD patients (hazard ratio [HR] = 1.15, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.03–1.29, P = 0.017). The HR for the risk of ISR associated with VLDL-C level ≥0.52 mmol/L was 3.01 (95% CI: 1.24–7.34, P = 0.015). Conclusion: The elevated level of serum VLDL-C was a significant and independent risk factor for ISR in diabetic CAD patients after coronary DES implantation. 展开更多
