Recent events related to power system failure have shown that voltage collapse can be a cause of widespread outages.The thrust of this paper is to discuss and establish means of mitigating system voltage instability by using a combination of both reactive current droop compensation and line drop compensation.It is shown that the point that the voltage regulator controls can be defined by a new method which is based on a widely accepted voltage stability analysis tool.This tool can be used to determine which generators will have an impact on the maximum permissible loading of a bus.Dynamic analysis was carried out on the CIGRE Nordic test system to study the impact of control point location on time to collapse and it is shown that the new scheme can improve the voltage stability. 展开更多

针对电力机车过分相区时主变压器励磁涌流对机车安全运行及牵引电网系统造成的不良影响,提出了一种静态开关控制的电力机车励磁涌流抑制技术。该技术利用电力电子技术通过控制静态开关分合的时间来控制机车变压器原绕组侧的电压,使变压... 针对电力机车过分相区时主变压器励磁涌流对机车安全运行及牵引电网系统造成的不良影响,提出了一种静态开关控制的电力机车励磁涌流抑制技术。该技术利用电力电子技术通过控制静态开关分合的时间来控制机车变压器原绕组侧的电压,使变压器铁心磁通在过零点及零点附近可允许范围内时实现开关的分合;并提出了一种静态开关可合闸范围确定方法,确定出静态开关的可合闸范围,使静态开关在该范围合闸时,机车主变压器不会产生励磁涌流。最后,利用所提方法建立了该静态开关控制的电力机车励磁涌流抑制系统的仿真模型,仿真结果表明,电力机车在过分相区时,开关合闸瞬间电力机车主变压器没有产生励磁涌流,验证了所提方法的可行性。 展开更多

在超特高压直流输电线路相继投入运行的背景下,直流偏磁造成电流互感器(current transformer, CT)饱和的现象日趋严重,抑制CT饱和尤为重要。通过直流偏磁产生机理和CT等效模型的建立,推导得到3种CT暂态饱和时的二次电流及铁芯磁链表达式... 在超特高压直流输电线路相继投入运行的背景下,直流偏磁造成电流互感器(current transformer, CT)饱和的现象日趋严重,抑制CT饱和尤为重要。通过直流偏磁产生机理和CT等效模型的建立,推导得到3种CT暂态饱和时的二次电流及铁芯磁链表达式,并提出直流补偿法来抑制直流偏磁导致的CT暂态饱和。基于电力系统计算机辅助设计PSCAD(power systems computer aided design)仿真平台,分析直流偏磁对CT二次电流的影响,通过定量计算得到补偿直流与偏磁电流的对应关系。抑制电流互感器暂态饱和可以确保其准确地将一次电流传变至二次侧,二次电流波形不会出现畸变,能够避免因差流过大引起的保护误动,确保电力系统安全可靠运行。此外,针对励磁涌流及接地故障造成的CT饱和,仿真结果验证该方法切实可行。 展开更多

Winding Capacitance Dividing Method for Powerformer

It presents a method which can equivalently arrange the capacitance distribution along with the winding of the generator on the terminal and neutral respectively in a reasonable partition,particularly for a type of high-voltage graded insulated cable wound generator,Powerformer.The winding of the Powerformer adopts graded insulation,which leads to the various cable thicknesses in different portion of the winding,and thus,the uneven capacitance distribution.The large capacitive currents and large transient outrush currents resulting from the cable consisting of the stator winding of Powerformer may cause problems to the generator differential protection.Most of literatures available in the field of compensated differential protection focus on the charging current compensation for long transmission line,instead of for generator.The authors give a method which can be used to compensate the capacitive current wholly to improve the reliability of the differential protection of Powerformer.It is proved that the distributed capacitance can be equivalent as the lump circuit with a capacitance partition coefficient ρ,and ρ is proved as a constant no matter whether the generator experiences the normal operation,external phase(s) fault or internal phase(s) fault.The formula of the partition coefficient is provided and the corresponding equivalent circuit of the Powerformer cable to calculate capacitance currents is given.An analysis programming resolving the minimum value of the coefficient ρ is written in MATLAB 7.0/m according to this formula,using the function fmincon() which can work in any type of constraint condition.The program always gets the same global minimum points under the different initial values condition which proves our point by mathematical test.With this new approach to winding capacitance dividing method,the protection scheme used for Powerformer can be validated and improved accordingly. 展开更多
