The maximum variance of a ridit has also been obtained. Yet the analytic expression of the ridit variance could not be deduced. Hence, it is difficult, by theoretical means, to prove the equivalent relation between the ridit analysis and some of the similar tests in the nonparametric statistical methods.展开更多
