The molar ratio of inclusion complex of β-Cyclodextrin and Orange Ⅱ is 1∶1. The formation constant K=1.236×10 3 L/mol was determined by the UV and Fluorescence spectra respectively, which was quite in accordance with the calculation with a modified Benesi-Hildbrand equation. The inclusion complex was characterized by the IR spectra and the molar ratio of inclusion complex is 1∶1 too. The formation constant K=1.266×10 3 L/mol was determined by 1 H NMR analysis and was nearly the same by UV and fluorescence spectra. The photocatalytic decolorization rate of Orange Ⅱ solutions containing β-CD and TiO_ 2 was smaller by 51.9% than that of the Orange Ⅱ solutions only containing TiO_ 2 , while in the case of direct photolysis of Orange Ⅱ solutions, β-CD can lower the photolysis rate by 48.1% under UV-light. This result indicates β-CD can inhibit the photolysis and photocatalytic decolorization of Orange Ⅱ under UV-light. The β-CD inclusion complex was found to be persistent to UV-light photolysis.展开更多

The dressed fermions interact occurring directly through the kinetic energy by exchanging magnetic excitations. This interaction leads to a net attractive force between dressed fermions, then the electron Cooper pairs originating from the dressed fermion pairing state are due to the charge-spin recombination, and their condensation reveals the superconducting ground state. The superconducting transition temperature is identical to the dressed fermion pair transition temperature, and is suppressed to a lower temperature due to the strong magnetic frustration. The optimal superconducting transition temperature occurs in the electron doping concentration δ≈ 0.29, and then decreases for both underdoped and overdoped regimes, in qualitative agreement with the experimental results.展开更多

The phase-inversion technique was employed to form macropor-ous chitosan beads, which were then simultaneously acti-vated, cross-linked and connected with a long spacer arm via the reaction with ethyleneglycol diglycidylether (EGDE). Tryptophan (Trp) was subsequently coupled to the ep-oxy-activated beads. This adsorbent demonstrated satisfac-tory adsorption capacity and selectivity for LDL, and it also exhibited excellent blood compatibility. The effect of spacer arms with different length on the adsorption selectivity was investigated experimentally, and the mechanism was ana-lyzed.展开更多

Location and distribution of NFκB p50 was examined by immunohistochemical assay. Expression of NFκB p50 protein was examined by immunobolt assay. Electrophoretic Mobility Shift Assay examined activity of NFκB; Myocardium p53 gene expression was examined by RTPCR analysis Results The myocardial lesions of rats were less pronounced in ADR +PDTC group than in ADR group Compared with control group, there were many myocardium nucleuses, which expressed NFκB p50 and distribute under epicardium Expression of NFκB p50 protein in nucleus increased significantly in ADR group The NFκB binding activity increased significantly in ADR group Myocardium expressions of p53 mRNA increased in ADR group Conclusions The NFκB binding activity increased significantly in cardiomyopathy induced by ADR in rats. Moreover, NFκB plays an important role in causing degeneration of myocardial tissue and regulating expression of relatedapoptosis genes展开更多
