Accurate mapping and timely monitoring of urban redevelopment are pivotal for urban studies and decisionmakers to foster sustainable urban development.Traditional mapping methods heavily depend on field surveys and su...Accurate mapping and timely monitoring of urban redevelopment are pivotal for urban studies and decisionmakers to foster sustainable urban development.Traditional mapping methods heavily depend on field surveys and subjective questionnaires,yielding less objective,reliable,and timely data.Recent advancements in Geographic Information Systems(GIS)and remote-sensing technologies have improved the identification and mapping of urban redevelopment through quantitative analysis using satellite-based observations.Nonetheless,challenges persist,particularly concerning accuracy and significant temporal delays.This study introduces a novel approach to modeling urban redevelopment,leveraging machine learning algorithms and remote-sensing data.This methodology can facilitate the accurate and timely identification of urban redevelopment activities.The study’s machine learning model can analyze time-series remote-sensing data to identify spatio-temporal and spectral patterns related to urban redevelopment.The model is thoroughly evaluated,and the results indicate that it can accurately capture the time-series patterns of urban redevelopment.This research’s findings are useful for evaluating urban demographic and economic changes,informing policymaking and urban planning,and contributing to sustainable urban development.The model can also serve as a foundation for future research on early-stage urban redevelopment detection and evaluation of the causes and impacts of urban redevelopment.展开更多
AIM:To evaluate scleral buckling(SB)surgery using a noncontact wide-field viewing system and 23-gauge intraocular illumination for the treatment of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment in silicone oil(SO)-filled eyes.MET...AIM:To evaluate scleral buckling(SB)surgery using a noncontact wide-field viewing system and 23-gauge intraocular illumination for the treatment of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment in silicone oil(SO)-filled eyes.METHODS:Totally 9 patients(9 eyes)with retinal detachment in SO-filled eyes were retrospectively analyzed.All patients underwent non-contact wide-field viewing system-assisted buckling surgery with 23-gauge intraocular illumination.SO was removed at an appropriate time based on recovery.The patients were followed up for at least 3mo after SO removal.Retinal reattachment,complications,visual acuity and intraocular pressure(IOP)before and after surgery were observed.RESULTS:Patients were followed up for a mean of 8.22mo(3-22mo)after SO removal.All patients had retinal reattachment.At the final follow-up,visual acuity showed improvement for 8 patients,and no change for 1 patient.The IOP was high in 3 patients before surgery,but it stabilized after treatment;it was not affected in the other patients.None of the patients had infections,hemorrhage,anterior ischemia,or any other complication.CONCLUSION:This new non-contact wide-field viewing system-assisted SB surgery with 23-gauge intraocular illumination is effective and safe for retinal detachment in SO-filled eyes.展开更多

With the control logic analysis of the rotary valve mud telemetry,...A numerical model and transmission characteristic analysis of DPSK (differential phase shift keying) pressure signals in mud channels is introduced. With the control logic analysis of the rotary valve mud telemetry, a logical control signal is built from a Gate function sequence according to the binary symbols of transmitted data and a phase-shift function is obtained by integrating the logical control signal. A mathematical model of the DPSK pressure signal is built based on principles of communications by modulating carrier phase with the phase-shift function and a numerical simulation of the pressure wave is implemented with the mathematical model by MATLAB programming. Considering drillpipe pressure and drilling fluid temperature profile along drillpipes, the drillpipe of a vertical well is divided into a number of sections. With water-based drilling fluids, the impacts of travel distance, carrier frequency, drillpipe size, and drilling fluids on the signal transmission were studied by signal transmission characteristic analysis for all the sections. Numerical calculation results indicate that the influences of the viscosity of drilling fluids and volume fraction of gas in drilling fluids on the DPSK signal transmission are more notable than the others and the signal will distort in waveform with differential attenuations of the signal frequent component.展开更多
To assess the effects of straw return coupled with deep nitrogen(N)fertilization on grain yield and N use efficiency(NUE)in mechanical pot-seedling transplanting(MPST)rice,the seedlings of two rice cultivars,i.e.,Yuxi...To assess the effects of straw return coupled with deep nitrogen(N)fertilization on grain yield and N use efficiency(NUE)in mechanical pot-seedling transplanting(MPST)rice,the seedlings of two rice cultivars,i.e.,Yuxiangyouzhan and Wufengyou 615 transplanted by MPST were applied with N fertilizer at 150 kg/hm2 and straw return at 6 t/hm2 in early seasons of 2019 and 2020.The experiment comprised of following treatments:CK(no fertilizer and no straw return),MDS(deep N fertilization and straw return),MBS(broadcasting fertilizer and straw return),MD(deep N fertilization without straw return),MB(broadcasting fertilizer without straw return).Results depicted that the MDS treatment significantly increased the rice yield by 41.69%-72.22%due to total above-ground biomass,leaf area index and photosynthesis increased by 54.70%-55.80%,38.52%-52.17%and 17.89%-28.40%,respectively,compared to the MB treatment.In addition,the MDS treatment enhanced the total N accumulation by 37.74%-43.69%,N recovery efficiency by 141.45%-164.65%,N agronomic efficiency by 121.76%-134.19%,nitrate reductase by 46.46%-60.86%and glutamine synthetase by 23.56%-31.02%,compared to the MB treatment.The average grain yield and NUE in both years for Yuxiangyouzhan were higher in the MDS treatment than in the MD treatment.Hence,deep N fertilization combined with straw return can be an innovative technique with improved grain yield and NUE in MPST in South China.展开更多
The constructed potential-pH diagrams of Li-Ni(Co,Mn)-H2O system indicate that the LiNiO2,LiCoO2 and LiMnO2 are thermodynamically stable in aqueous solution within the temperature range of 25-200°C and the activi...The constructed potential-pH diagrams of Li-Ni(Co,Mn)-H2O system indicate that the LiNiO2,LiCoO2 and LiMnO2 are thermodynamically stable in aqueous solution within the temperature range of 25-200°C and the activity range of 0.01-1.00.A predominant co-region of LiNiO2,LiCoO2 and LiMnO2 oxides(Li-Ni-Co-Mncomposite oxide)is found in the Li-Ni-Co-Mn-H2O potential-pH diagrams,in which the co-precipitation region expands towards lower pH with rising temperature,indicating the enhanced possibility of synthesizing Li-Ni-Co-Mn composite oxide in aqueous solution.The experimental results prove that it is feasible to prepare the LiNi0.5Co0.2Mn0.3O2 cathode materials(NCM523)by an aqueous routine.The as-prepared lithiated precursor and NCM523 both inherit the spherical morphology of the hydroxide precursor and the obtained NCM523 has a hexagonalα-NaFeO2 structure with good crystallinity.It is reasonable to conclude that the aqueous routine for preparing NCM cathode materials is a promising method with the guidance of the reliable potential-pH diagrams to some extent.展开更多

This study was conducted to investigate the association between ideal CVH and subclinical atherosclerosis in...Objective Ideal cardiovascular health(CVH) could predict a lower risk of developing cardiovascular diseases. This study was conducted to investigate the association between ideal CVH and subclinical atherosclerosis in a population cohort of Chinese adults aged ≥ 40 years. Methods This study was designed as a cross-sectional analysis of 8,395 participants who had complete data at baseline and a prospective analysis of 4,879 participants who had complete data at 4.3 years of follow-up. Ideal CVH metrics were defined according to the American Heart Association. Subclinical atherosclerosis was evaluated by plaques in carotid arteries, carotid intima-media thickness(CIMT), brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity(baPWV), and urinary albumin-to-creatinine ratio(UACR). Results Both the prevalence and incidence of atherosclerosis measures were found to be decreased with increasing numbers of ideal CVH metrics at baseline(all P values for trend < 0.01). The levels of CIMT and UACR at follow-up showed an inverse and significant association with the numbers of ideal CVH metrics at baseline(both P values for trend < 0.05) but a borderline significant association with baPWV(P for trend = 0.0505). Taking participants with 0-1 ideal metric as reference, we found that participants with 5-6 ideal metrics had significantly lower risks of developing carotid plaques(odds ratio, OR = 0.46; 95% confidence interval, CI 0.27-0.79), increased CIMT(OR = 0.60; 95% CI 0.42-0.84), and increased baPWV(OR = 0.57; 95% CI 0.34-0.97) after full adjustments. A significant interactive effect of age and CVH was detected on CIMT and baPWV progression(both P values for interaction < 0.05). Conclusion The numbers of ideal CVH metrics showed a significant and inverse association with the risk of developing subclinical atherosclerosis in middle-aged and elderly Chinese adults, whereas its dose-response effect was attenuated in individuals aged ≥ 60 years and partially weakened in male participants.展开更多

Newly-acquired seismic data reveal widespread carbonate deposits covering a large part of the northwestern South China Sea margin.Three carbonate platforms are identified to have developed on the topographic highs inh...Newly-acquired seismic data reveal widespread carbonate deposits covering a large part of the northwestern South China Sea margin.Three carbonate platforms are identified to have developed on the topographic highs inherited from tectonic deformation and volcanic accretion.Across the carbonate platforms,the Miocene strata are characterized by high-amplitude seismic reflections and distinct platform architecture that overlaps older strata.The Guangle and Xisha carbonate platforms grew on faulted blocks due to South China Sea continental rifting,while the Zhongjian carbonate platform developed on a structural high induced by early Miocene volcanism.During the late Miocene,partial drowning resulted in the inhibition of platform growth,eventual platform drowning and termination of most carbonate deposition.The drowning of the Guangle and Zhongjian carbonate platforms is shown by the supply of siliciclastic sediments during the late Miocene and seems to be closely linked to late Neogene volcanic activity,whilst the drowning of the Xisha carbonate platform is primarily related to relative eustatic changes.Our results imply that tectonic activity,volcanism and eustasy are the dominant controls on the evolution of carbonate platforms on the northwestern margin of the South China Sea.展开更多

However, few studies have focused on white matter lesions caused by c...Ischemic stroke often elicits profound white matter lesions, which results in poor neurological outcomes and impairing the recovery in post-stroke. However, few studies have focused on white matter lesions caused by cerebral ischemia. The present study was aimed to investigate the effects of cornel iridoid glycoside(CIG), a main active component extracted from Cornus officinalis, on the white matter injury induced by ischemic stroke. CIG(60 and 120 mg·kg-1) were administered intragastrically 6 h after middle cerebral artery occlusion reperfusion(MCAO) surgery once a day for 7 d. A series of behavioral tests were carried out to evaluate the neurological function of MCAO rats. White matter structure was detected by luxol fast blue staining and transmission electron microscopy. Immunohistochemical staining was used to assess myelin loss, oligodendrocytes maturation and glial activation. Results showed that CIG remarkably decreased neurological deficit score, accelerated the recovery of somatosensory and motor functions, and ameliorated the memory deficit in MCAO rats. CIG alleviated white matter lesions and demyelination, increased myelin basic protein expression and the number of mature oligodendrocytes in the corpus callosum of MCAO rats. Besides, CIG inhibited the activation of microglia and astrocytes. Further data obtained by western blot analysis indicated that CIG increased the expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)/p-Trk B, neuregulin-1/Erb B, and PI3 K p110α/p-Akt/p-m TOR in the corpus callosum of MCAO rats. Our findings demonstrated that CIG protected against white matter lesions induced by cerebral ischemia and the mechanisms were partially contributed to increasing BDNF and activating neuregulin-1/Erb B signaling and its downstream PI3 K/Akt/m TOR pathway in white matter.展开更多

All samples were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, UV diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. Results showed that the residual carbon content was influenced by heat treatment temperature and the amount of PVA. The degradation of methylene blue by Carbon-coated tourmaline was also studied. The experiments pointed out that the carbon coated effects are best when the heating temperature was 900℃ and the weight content of PVA was 70%. And the tourmaline prepared under 900℃ in the oxidation atmosphere has the best degrade efficiency. The results also proved that the infrared radiation of tourmaline is not effect in the degrade progress.展开更多

In underground mining, floor failure depth accompanying mining phases usually results from changes in the advance abutment pressure in the coal mass, and changes in stress redistribution in the areas that have already...In underground mining, floor failure depth accompanying mining phases usually results from changes in the advance abutment pressure in the coal mass, and changes in stress redistribution in the areas that have already been mined. Although a variety of techniques have been applied to determine the failure depth, and a number of studies have provided the evidence for the decreasing of failure depth under backfilling, these methods and interactions have not been unequivocally identified. Based on the premise of one possible relation between the failure depth and filling body, which is that the filling materials (gangue) in the gob area can not only restrain the movement of the overlying strata effectively, but also can help to decrease failure depth of the floor in the coal mine. The failure depth in a specific longwall gangue backfilling mine was measured using the mine electricity profiling method. These electrode cables are arranged in a crossheading order to measure the depth and position of the destroyed floor using the DC method. After this, several different methods were used to interpret the recorded data from the field study for gaining failure depth, and the results were compared to the theoretical calculation values. And finally, the authors analyzed the reasons for failure depth form values recorded not indicating a large decrease trend when compared to the theoretical calculation. In this area, it is found that: ① The results using the mine electricity profiling method turns out to be robust and can be used in predicting floor failure depth, and the horizontal position of the maximum destroyed in working face of longwall backfilling. The maximum destroyed position and failure space of the floor can be identified by using this method. ②There is a time-delay processing between the advance of the working face and the failure of floor strata in the mining processing. ③Additionally, based on the data collected from field measurements, which includes three different test electrode spacing approaches (single, double and triple electrode spacing), and the theoretical value from theoretical calculations. The premise mentioned above cannot be supported during the specific field test, and the role of the filling body in the mined area cannot decrease the floor failure depth effectively in comparison to the theory predictions. Basically, the failure depths in the two different methods have similar results and it is possible that there will not be a direct correlation between the filling body and failure depth. ④Although the failure depth cannot decrease effectiveness when using gangue backfilling in the field testing, due to gob gangue, filling materials being able to deliver the abutment pressure from the overburden in most cases, once they were compacted and rammed by the overburden pressure, it still can make the fracture of the gob area clog and be further consolidated. In this way, it is assumed that water-bursting accidents can be prevented effectively under backfill mining. For this reason, gangue backfilling may make a significant contribution to safety mining.展开更多

Methods: The total RNA was extracted from six lung cancer cell lines GLC-82, NCI-H460, A549, 95-C, 95-D and QG56. Then the cDNA was amplified by real-time quantitative PCR method to quantify the gene expression of RRM1, PTEN, ERCC1, dCK and CDA. The cytotoxicity of gem- citabine to cell lines was tested by MTT method. Results: Among the detected six lung cancer cell lines, the mRNA level of RRM1, PTEN and ERCC1 in lung squamous cell line QG56 was highest, and the IC50 of gemcitabine to QG56 cell line was also highest. Conclusion: The mRNA expression of RRM1, PTEN and ERCC1 was correlated, and the high expression of RRM1 was related to gemcitabine resistance of lung cancer.展开更多

文摘Objective Ideal cardiovascular health(CVH) could predict a lower risk of developing cardiovascular diseases. This study was conducted to investigate the association between ideal CVH and subclinical atherosclerosis in a population cohort of Chinese adults aged ≥ 40 years. Methods This study was designed as a cross-sectional analysis of 8,395 participants who had complete data at baseline and a prospective analysis of 4,879 participants who had complete data at 4.3 years of follow-up. Ideal CVH metrics were defined according to the American Heart Association. Subclinical atherosclerosis was evaluated by plaques in carotid arteries, carotid intima-media thickness(CIMT), brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity(baPWV), and urinary albumin-to-creatinine ratio(UACR). Results Both the prevalence and incidence of atherosclerosis measures were found to be decreased with increasing numbers of ideal CVH metrics at baseline(all P values for trend < 0.01). The levels of CIMT and UACR at follow-up showed an inverse and significant association with the numbers of ideal CVH metrics at baseline(both P values for trend < 0.05) but a borderline significant association with baPWV(P for trend = 0.0505). Taking participants with 0-1 ideal metric as reference, we found that participants with 5-6 ideal metrics had significantly lower risks of developing carotid plaques(odds ratio, OR = 0.46; 95% confidence interval, CI 0.27-0.79), increased CIMT(OR = 0.60; 95% CI 0.42-0.84), and increased baPWV(OR = 0.57; 95% CI 0.34-0.97) after full adjustments. A significant interactive effect of age and CVH was detected on CIMT and baPWV progression(both P values for interaction < 0.05). Conclusion The numbers of ideal CVH metrics showed a significant and inverse association with the risk of developing subclinical atherosclerosis in middle-aged and elderly Chinese adults, whereas its dose-response effect was attenuated in individuals aged ≥ 60 years and partially weakened in male participants.
文摘A diode pumped alkali vapor laser has advantages in high quantum efficiency,excellent beam quality,and low thermal effect.We obtain a laser diode array(LDA)with linewidth of 0.20 nm and an external cavity of volume Bragg grating(VBG).Its central wavelength can be tuned from 779.30 nm to 780.10 nm by changing the VBG's temperature.Pumped by this LDA,a 2.1 W rubidium vapor laser is achieved with optical efficiency of 10.5%and slope efficiency of 22.7%.

文摘Newly-acquired seismic data reveal widespread carbonate deposits covering a large part of the northwestern South China Sea margin.Three carbonate platforms are identified to have developed on the topographic highs inherited from tectonic deformation and volcanic accretion.Across the carbonate platforms,the Miocene strata are characterized by high-amplitude seismic reflections and distinct platform architecture that overlaps older strata.The Guangle and Xisha carbonate platforms grew on faulted blocks due to South China Sea continental rifting,while the Zhongjian carbonate platform developed on a structural high induced by early Miocene volcanism.During the late Miocene,partial drowning resulted in the inhibition of platform growth,eventual platform drowning and termination of most carbonate deposition.The drowning of the Guangle and Zhongjian carbonate platforms is shown by the supply of siliciclastic sediments during the late Miocene and seems to be closely linked to late Neogene volcanic activity,whilst the drowning of the Xisha carbonate platform is primarily related to relative eustatic changes.Our results imply that tectonic activity,volcanism and eustasy are the dominant controls on the evolution of carbonate platforms on the northwestern margin of the South China Sea.
文摘Linewidth of a laser diode stack with 5 bar is reduced to 0.2 nm from 1.8 nm through the use of an external volume Bragg grating(VBG)cavity.The temperature of the VBG is controlled efficiently to make the central wavelength tunable.The linewidth changes little in the wavelength-tuning experiments.Since the tunable range covers the rubidium D2 absorption line,the stack can be used to pump the rubidium laser efficiently.
文摘Ischemic stroke often elicits profound white matter lesions, which results in poor neurological outcomes and impairing the recovery in post-stroke. However, few studies have focused on white matter lesions caused by cerebral ischemia. The present study was aimed to investigate the effects of cornel iridoid glycoside(CIG), a main active component extracted from Cornus officinalis, on the white matter injury induced by ischemic stroke. CIG(60 and 120 mg·kg-1) were administered intragastrically 6 h after middle cerebral artery occlusion reperfusion(MCAO) surgery once a day for 7 d. A series of behavioral tests were carried out to evaluate the neurological function of MCAO rats. White matter structure was detected by luxol fast blue staining and transmission electron microscopy. Immunohistochemical staining was used to assess myelin loss, oligodendrocytes maturation and glial activation. Results showed that CIG remarkably decreased neurological deficit score, accelerated the recovery of somatosensory and motor functions, and ameliorated the memory deficit in MCAO rats. CIG alleviated white matter lesions and demyelination, increased myelin basic protein expression and the number of mature oligodendrocytes in the corpus callosum of MCAO rats. Besides, CIG inhibited the activation of microglia and astrocytes. Further data obtained by western blot analysis indicated that CIG increased the expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)/p-Trk B, neuregulin-1/Erb B, and PI3 K p110α/p-Akt/p-m TOR in the corpus callosum of MCAO rats. Our findings demonstrated that CIG protected against white matter lesions induced by cerebral ischemia and the mechanisms were partially contributed to increasing BDNF and activating neuregulin-1/Erb B signaling and its downstream PI3 K/Akt/m TOR pathway in white matter.
文摘An attempt was made to prepare carbon coated tourmaline by mixing tourmaline powders and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), followed by heat treatment in argon atmosphere. All samples were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, UV diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. Results showed that the residual carbon content was influenced by heat treatment temperature and the amount of PVA. The degradation of methylene blue by Carbon-coated tourmaline was also studied. The experiments pointed out that the carbon coated effects are best when the heating temperature was 900℃ and the weight content of PVA was 70%. And the tourmaline prepared under 900℃ in the oxidation atmosphere has the best degrade efficiency. The results also proved that the infrared radiation of tourmaline is not effect in the degrade progress.
文摘Point-contact tunneling measurements of the oxide superconductor Y-Ba-Cu-O were carried out with both Nb and Mo tips.An energy gap,Δ=18.5meV and 2Δ/kT_(c)=4.7 were obtained.The result is consistent with the strong-coupling theory.The tunneling conductance curves indicate a granular feature of the sample.

文摘In underground mining, floor failure depth accompanying mining phases usually results from changes in the advance abutment pressure in the coal mass, and changes in stress redistribution in the areas that have already been mined. Although a variety of techniques have been applied to determine the failure depth, and a number of studies have provided the evidence for the decreasing of failure depth under backfilling, these methods and interactions have not been unequivocally identified. Based on the premise of one possible relation between the failure depth and filling body, which is that the filling materials (gangue) in the gob area can not only restrain the movement of the overlying strata effectively, but also can help to decrease failure depth of the floor in the coal mine. The failure depth in a specific longwall gangue backfilling mine was measured using the mine electricity profiling method. These electrode cables are arranged in a crossheading order to measure the depth and position of the destroyed floor using the DC method. After this, several different methods were used to interpret the recorded data from the field study for gaining failure depth, and the results were compared to the theoretical calculation values. And finally, the authors analyzed the reasons for failure depth form values recorded not indicating a large decrease trend when compared to the theoretical calculation. In this area, it is found that: ① The results using the mine electricity profiling method turns out to be robust and can be used in predicting floor failure depth, and the horizontal position of the maximum destroyed in working face of longwall backfilling. The maximum destroyed position and failure space of the floor can be identified by using this method. ②There is a time-delay processing between the advance of the working face and the failure of floor strata in the mining processing. ③Additionally, based on the data collected from field measurements, which includes three different test electrode spacing approaches (single, double and triple electrode spacing), and the theoretical value from theoretical calculations. The premise mentioned above cannot be supported during the specific field test, and the role of the filling body in the mined area cannot decrease the floor failure depth effectively in comparison to the theory predictions. Basically, the failure depths in the two different methods have similar results and it is possible that there will not be a direct correlation between the filling body and failure depth. ④Although the failure depth cannot decrease effectiveness when using gangue backfilling in the field testing, due to gob gangue, filling materials being able to deliver the abutment pressure from the overburden in most cases, once they were compacted and rammed by the overburden pressure, it still can make the fracture of the gob area clog and be further consolidated. In this way, it is assumed that water-bursting accidents can be prevented effectively under backfill mining. For this reason, gangue backfilling may make a significant contribution to safety mining.

文摘Objective: To explore the molecular mechanism of gemcitabine-resistance, the relative mRNA expression of five genes related to gemcitabine-resistance was detected in six lung cancer cell lines. Methods: The total RNA was extracted from six lung cancer cell lines GLC-82, NCI-H460, A549, 95-C, 95-D and QG56. Then the cDNA was amplified by real-time quantitative PCR method to quantify the gene expression of RRM1, PTEN, ERCC1, dCK and CDA. The cytotoxicity of gem- citabine to cell lines was tested by MTT method. Results: Among the detected six lung cancer cell lines, the mRNA level of RRM1, PTEN and ERCC1 in lung squamous cell line QG56 was highest, and the IC50 of gemcitabine to QG56 cell line was also highest. Conclusion: The mRNA expression of RRM1, PTEN and ERCC1 was correlated, and the high expression of RRM1 was related to gemcitabine resistance of lung cancer.
