M...AIM: To investigate the behavioral and psychological disorders and the prevalence of parent ratings of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD) symptoms among children with bilateral congenital cataracts(CCs). METHODS: This cross-sectional study investigated children with bilateral CC aged 3-8 y(CC group) using Conners’ Parent Rating Scale-48(CPRS-48) from July to December 2016. The abnormal rates of psychological symptoms in CC children and normal vision(NV) children were compared using the Chi-square test. The scores of CC children were compared with those of NV children and the Chinese urban norm using the independent samples t-test and one-sample t-test, respectively. RESULTS: A total of 262 valid questionnaires were collected. The ratio of CC children to NV children was 119:143. The overall rate of psychological symptoms in CC children was 2.28 times higher than that in NV children(46.22% vs 20.28%, Pearson’s χ2=20.062;P<0.001). CC children showed higher scores for conduct problems, learning problems, impulsiveness/hyperactivity, anxiety, and hyperactivity index than NV children and the Chinese urban norm, particularly between the ages of 3 and 5 y. Furthermore, male children aged between 6 and 8 y showed a higher impulsive/hyperactive score than females of the same age(t=6.083, P<0.001). CONCLUSION: Children with bilateral CCs have a higher rate of ADHD symptoms than children with NV. This study provides clinical evidence that screening for psychological symptoms and particularly for ADHD symptoms in children with bilateral CC are recommended for an early diagnosis and timely treatment.展开更多

Methods: Seventy patients with eclampsia who were treated in the Hospital from February 2017 to February 2019 were enrolled. The patients were divided into two groups according to the random number table, with 35 cases in each group. The Observation group was treated with Labetalol, and the combined therapy group was treated with Compound Danshen Injection combined with Labetalol. The liver function [alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, total protein, and albumin], hemorheology indicators, placental growth factor and serum insulin-like growth factor-1 and clinical indicators in the two groups were analyzed. Results: After treatment, the levels of alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase in the combined therapy group were significantly lower than those in the Observation group. The levels of total protein and albumin in the combined therapy group were significantly higher than those in the Observation group (P<0.05). After treatment, the high-cut and low-cut whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity and erythrocyte rigidity index in the combined therapy group were significantly lower than the Observation group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of PLGF and IGF-1 in the combined therapy group were significantly higher than those in the Observation group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the gestational age, neonatal weight index, placental weight and neonatal 1 min Apgar score in the combined therapy group were significantly higher than the Observation group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: For patients with eclampsia, Compound Danshen Injection combined with Labetalol is with great safety, which can help stabilize their condition, and improve their liver function and placental growth factor status.展开更多

The present work focused on the microstructure and corrosion behaviors of Mg 98.5 Y1 Zn0.5 alloys with 18 R LPSO structure after equal channel angular pressing(ECAP). The results showed that the ECAP process changed the grain size and the distribution of LPSO particles thus controlled the total corrosion rates of Mg 98.5 Y1 Zn0.5 alloys. During the ECAP process from 0 p to 12 p, the grain size reduced from 160–180 μm(as-cast) to 6–8 μm(12 p). The LPSO structures became kinked(4 p), then started to be broken into smaller pieces(8 p), and at last comminuted to fine particles and redistributed uniformly inside the matrix(12 p). The improvement in the corrosion resistance for ECAP samples was obtained from 0 p to 8 p, with the corrosion rate reduced from 3.24 mm/year(0 p) to 2.35 mm/year(8 p) in simulated body fluid, and the 12 p ECAP alloy exhibited the highest corrosion rate of 4.54 mm/year.展开更多
In this study, the microstructure, mechanical properties and corrosion behaviors of a Zn–1.6 Mg(wt%) alloy during multipass rotary die equal channel angle pressing(RD-ECAP) processing at 150 °C were systematical...In this study, the microstructure, mechanical properties and corrosion behaviors of a Zn–1.6 Mg(wt%) alloy during multipass rotary die equal channel angle pressing(RD-ECAP) processing at 150 °C were systematically investigated. The results indicated that a Zn + Mg2 Zn11 + MgZn2 ternary eutectic structure was formed in as-cast Zn–Mg alloy. After ECAP, the primary Zn matrix turned to fine dynamic recrystallization(DRX) grains, and the network-shaped eutectic structure was crushed into fine particles and blended with DRX grains. Owing to the refined microstructure, dispersed eutectic structure and dynamically precipitated precipitates, the 8 p-ECAP alloy possessed the optimal mechanical properties with ultimate tensile strength of 474 MPa and elongation of 7%. Moreover, the electrochemical results showed that the ECAP alloys exhibited similar corrosion rates with that of as-cast alloys in simulated body fluid, which suggests that a high-strength Zn–Mg alloy was successfully developed without sacrifice of the corrosion resistance.展开更多
