We report a case of 30-year-old woman with Peutz- Jeghers syndrome (PJS). Because of small intestinal obstruction, she received the small intestinal polypectomy in 2001, and the pathological diagnosis was Peutz-Jeghers polyp canceration (mucinous adenocarcinoma, infiltrating full-thickness of the intestine). The patient did not feel uncomfortable after 6 mo of chemotherapy and other management. We kept a follow-up study on her and found that she suffered from cervical cancer in 2007, with a pathological diagnosis of cervical adenosquamous carcinoma.The patient presented with typical features of PJS, but without a family history. The PJS accompanied with both small intestinal and cervical malignancies has not been reported so far in the world. 展开更多

Microrolling experiments and uniaxial tensile tests of pure copper under different annealing conditions were carried out in this paper. The effects of grain size and reduction on non-uniform deformation, edge cracking, and microstructure were studied. The experimen- tal results showed that the side deformation became more non-uniform, resulting in substantial edge bulge, and the uneven spread increased with increasing grain size and reduction level. When the reduction level reached 80% and the grain size was 65 μm, slight edge cracks occurred. When the grain size was 200 μm, the edge cracks became wider and deeper. No edge cracks occurred when the grain size was 200 μm and the reduction level was less than 60%; edge cracks occurred when the reduction level was increased to 80%. As the reduction level increased, the grains were gradually elongated and appeared as a sheet-like structure along the rolling direction; a fine lamellar structure was obtained when the grain size was 20 lam and the reduction level was less than 60%. 展开更多

The simulating waves nearshore(SWAN) model has typically been designed for wave simulations in near-shore regions. In this study, the model's applicability to the simulation of typhoon waves in the South China Sea(SCS) was evaluated. A blended wind field, consisting of an interior domain based on Fujita's model and an exterior domain based on Takahashi's model, was used as the driving wind field. The waves driven by Typhoon Kai-tak over the SCS that occurred in 2012 were selected for the numerical simulation research. Sensitivity analyses of time step, grid resolution, and angle resolution were performed in order to obtain optimal model settings. Through sensitivity analyses, it can be found that the time step has a large influence on the results, while grid resolution and angle resolution have a little effect on the results. 展开更多

In this study,the thermal expansion of Hf_(1-x)Ta_(x)Fe_(2)(x=0.10,0.13,0.15)compounds by adjusting the Ta concentration was successfully regulated.The magnetocaloric properties,hydrostatic pressure affecting the antiferromagnetic-ferromagnetic transition,and magnetostriction in the low magnetic field were studied.TheΔS_(M)values of 3.3 J·(kg-K)^(-1)and 3.6 J·(kg·K)^(-1)were obtained under magnetic fields of 10 kOe and 15 kOe in the Hf_(0.85)Ta_(0.15)Fe_(2),respectively.In the antiferromagnetic-ferromagnetic state transformation process under hydrostatic pressure up to 0.8 GPa,the state temperature does not decrease in a strictly linear manner.Outstanding magnetostrictive properties of 0.12%were obtained at a magnetic field of 10 kOe.This kind of alloy is supposed to be controlled under hydrostatic pressure to obtain good magnetic refrigeration performance and magnetostrictive properties. 展开更多
