Objectives:To explore the resilience experience of new nurses and how new nurses develop and apply resilience strategies to cope with the difficulties during the transition period.Methods:A descriptive qualitative res...Objectives:To explore the resilience experience of new nurses and how new nurses develop and apply resilience strategies to cope with the difficulties during the transition period.Methods:A descriptive qualitative research method was on data acquired using data semi-structured interviews with 12 new nurses aged 20-26 years whose working time was more than 12 months but less than 24 months.Results:Analysis of the data could determine participants adopting resilience strategies to withstand difficulties and challenges in transition period.This period consisted of three main phases:"self-protection,""undertaking challenges,"and"planning future."The first-line nurse managers'feedback and flexible shift scheduling paid a vital part in promoting the resilience development of new nurses.Conclusions:Recognizing the importance of understanding and developing the resilience of new nurses in the transition period could greatly reduce the turnover rate and alleviate the shortage of nurses in global nursing workforce.展开更多
Photoelectric properties of CdZnTe:In samples with distinctive defect distributions are investigated using various techniques.Samples cut from the head(T04)and tail(W02)regions of a crystal ingot show distinct differe...Photoelectric properties of CdZnTe:In samples with distinctive defect distributions are investigated using various techniques.Samples cut from the head(T04)and tail(W02)regions of a crystal ingot show distinct differences in Te inclusion distribution.Obvious difference is not observed in Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectra,UV-Vis-NIR transmittance spectra,and I-V measurements.However,carrier mobility of the tip sample is higher than that of the tail according to the laser beam induced current(LBIC)measurements.Low temperature photoluminescence(PL)measurement presents sharp emission peaks of D^(0)X and A^(0)X,and relatively large peak of D^(0)X(or A^(0)X)/Dcomplex for T04,indicating a better crystalline quality.Thermally stimulated current(TSC)spectrum shows higher density of shallow point defects,i.e.,Cd vacancies,In^(+)_(Cd),etc.,in W02 sample,which could be responsible for the deterioration of electron mobility.展开更多
Obesity is a medical condition in which excess body fat has accumulated to an extent and may have an adverse effect on health,leading to reduced life expec-tancy,impaired energy homeostasis and increased health proble...Obesity is a medical condition in which excess body fat has accumulated to an extent and may have an adverse effect on health,leading to reduced life expec-tancy,impaired energy homeostasis and increased health problems.The p160 steroid receptor coactivator(SRC)gene family members have been suggested to be involved in energy homeostasis,but the impact of SRC-3 ablation on white and brown adipose tissue needs to be elucidated.In the current study,we collected in vivo data and carried out morphological studies on the effect of SRC-3 deficiency on white adipose tissue(WAT)and brown adipose tissue(BAT).Primary cells were cultured to investigate the differentiation ability of both adipocytes.Western blot was applied to detect the expression of master genes governing adipogenesis and thermogenesis.We observed that SRC-3^(–/–)mice were lean,with reduced WAT and decreased serum leptin levels,mainly due to the smaller white adipocyte size caused by impaired adipo-genesis,presented by decreased peroxisome proliferator activated receptor g(PPARg)expression.In the BAT,the lipid droplets decreased significantly in SRC-3^(–/–)mice as demonstrated by histological analysis and electron micro-scopic observation,which could be explained by enhanced thermogenesis.The expression of thermogenic marker gene PPARg coactivator 1αand uncoupling protein-1 increased in BAT of SRC-3^(–/–)mice,which proved our observations.Collectively,these results demonstrate that SRC-3 plays a key role in adipogenesis and energy expenditure.展开更多
