In this paper we present a new experimental observation using a conventional reflectometry technique,poloidal correlation reflectometry(PCR),in the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak(EAST).The turbulence sp...In this paper we present a new experimental observation using a conventional reflectometry technique,poloidal correlation reflectometry(PCR),in the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak(EAST).The turbulence spectrum detected by the PCR system exhibits an asymmetry and induced Doppler shift f_(D)during the internal kink mode(IKM)rotation phase.This Doppler shift f_(D)is the target measurement of Doppler reflectometry,but captured by conventional reflectometry.Results show that the Doppler shift f_(D)is modulated by the periodic changes in the effective angle between the probing wave and cutoff layer normal,but not by plasma turbulence.The fishbone mode and saturated long-lived mode are typical IKMs,and this modulation phenomenon is observed in both cases.Moreover,the value of the Doppler shift f_(D)is positively correlated with the amplitude of the IKM,even when the latter is small.However,the positive and negative frequency components of the Doppler shift f_(D)can be asymmetric,which is related to the plasma configuration.A simulated analysis is performed by ray tracing to verify these observations.These results establish a clear link between f_(D)and IKM rotation,and are helpful for studying the characteristics of IKM and related physical phenomena.展开更多
This work presents the Gaussian process tomography(GPT)based on Bayesian data analysis and its applications in soft x-ray(SXR)and absolute extreme ultraviolet spectroscopy(AXUV)diagnostics on experimental advanced sup...This work presents the Gaussian process tomography(GPT)based on Bayesian data analysis and its applications in soft x-ray(SXR)and absolute extreme ultraviolet spectroscopy(AXUV)diagnostics on experimental advanced superconducting tokamak(EAST).This is the first application of the GPT method in the AXUV diagnostic system in fusion devices.It is found that even if only horizontal detector arrays are used to reconstruct the two-dimensional(2D)distribution of SXR and AXUV emissivity fields,the GPT method performs robustly and extremely fast,which enables the GPT method to provide real-time feedback on impurity transport and fast magnetohydrodynamics(MHD)events.By reconstructing SXR emissivity in the poloidal cross section on EAST,an m/n=1/1 internal kink mode has been observed,and the plasma redistribution due to the kink mode is clearly visible in the reconstructions,where m is the poloidal mode number and n is the toroidal mode number.Sawtooth-like internal disruptions extended throughout the entire plasma core and mainly driven by the m/n=2/1 mode have been acquired.During the sawtooth-like internal disruption crash phase,the conversion from an m=2 mode to an m=1 mode is observed.Using the reconstructed AXUV emissivity field we were able to observe the process of impurity accumulated in the plasma core and the mitigation of core impurity due to neon injection in the plasma edge.The data from all other diagnostics involved in the analysis shows that the reconstructions from AXUV measurements are reliable.展开更多
As primary and secondary forests are being replaced by plantations across the globe,the soil macrofauna community structure is also affected,but little is known about the impact of mixed culture plantations compared w...As primary and secondary forests are being replaced by plantations across the globe,the soil macrofauna community structure is also affected,but little is known about the impact of mixed culture plantations compared with monocultures on the soil macrofauna.To determine the impact of forest conversion on soil macrofauna,we surveyed the soil macrofauna in two broad-leaved and three coniferous monoculture stands and four coniferous-broadleaved mixed stands,and in adjacent reserved secondary stands as a reference.Soil macro fauna community composition was significant affected by forest type,season and their interaction(P<0.05).The abundance,taxa richness and diversity of soil macro fauna changed to different degrees depending on the plantation type.Broadleaved monoculture stands and secondary stands had similar macrofauna abundance and taxa richness,but values were lower in coniferous stands than in secondary stands.The Shannon index for macrofauna in coniferous stands was also the lowest,but the Pielou index did not differ between forest types.The negative effects of the conifer monoculture on soil macro fauna were not present in the mixed stands with broad-leaved trees.Forest conversion impacted soil properties;soil moisture,NO_(3)^(-),and pH were significant drivers of soil macrofauna community structure.The impact of forest conversion on soil macrofauna was closely dependent on tree species composition and diversity.The macro fauna community structure in the broadleaved and the mixed stands were relatively similar to that in the natural forest,and thus recommended for forest conversion in the study area.展开更多

Synthesizing ring structure aviation fuels from biomass-derived platform molecules is challenging,especially for bridged ring structure aviation fuels which are typically achieved from fossil-derived chemicals.Herein,...Synthesizing ring structure aviation fuels from biomass-derived platform molecules is challenging,especially for bridged ring structure aviation fuels which are typically achieved from fossil-derived chemicals.Herein,we report the synthesis of a series of ring structure biofuels in two steps by a combination of a solvent-free Michael-cyclization reaction and a hydrodeoxygenation(HDO)reaction from lignocellulosederived 5,5-dimethyl-1,3-cyclohexanedione.These biofuels are obtained with high overall yields up to 90%,which exhibit high densities of 0.81 g cm^(-3)-0.88 g cm^(-3)and high volumetric neat heat of combustion(VNHOC)values of 36.0 MJ L^(-1)-38.6 MJ L^(-1).More importantly,bridged-ring structure hydrocarbons can also be achieved in two steps by a combination of a Robinson annulation reaction and an HDO reaction to afford the final products at high overall yields up to 90%.The bridged-ring structure products have comparable high densities and high VNHOC values to the best artificial fuel JP-10(0.94 g cm^(-3)and 39.6 MJ L^(-1)).The results demonstrate a promising way for the synthesis of high-density aviation fuels with different fuel properties at high yields.展开更多
The blob properties in I-mode and ELM-free H-mode plasmas compared to L-mode have been investigated on the EAST tokamak,including the blob detection rate Nb,sizeδb,lifetimeτb and radial velocity vr,b.The blob proper...The blob properties in I-mode and ELM-free H-mode plasmas compared to L-mode have been investigated on the EAST tokamak,including the blob detection rate Nb,sizeδb,lifetimeτb and radial velocity vr,b.The blob properties in L-mode and I-mode are similar,and those in ELM-free H-mode are different to them.The blob Nbis smaller whileτbis larger in H-mode.The experimental blob sizeδband velocity scalings vr,b-δb show a good agreement with the theoretical models.The variation in blob properties during the L-I and H-L transitions,and their relations to the scrape-off layer(SOL)density,edge and SOL turbulence,and SOL collisionality are discussed.The suppression of the edge(inside the last closed flux surface)turbulence is not reflected in the blob behavior,while the blob detection rate shows a correlation with the SOL density and its low-frequency(3–50 kH z)fluctuations.In addition,the blob detection rate is found to increase with the divertor collisionalityΛdiv,indicating a dependence of blob behavior onΛdiv.The differences in blob detection rates among the three operating regimes might be due to their different SOL densities and collisionalities.The investigation contributes to understanding the influences of edge and SOL plasma parameters on the blob behavior.展开更多

The EMPA is fixed near the first wall at horizontal...A novel electromagnetic probe array(EMPA) diagnostic, which consists of a magnetic probe array and an electrostatic probe array, has recently been developed on EAST. The EMPA is fixed near the first wall at horizontal port P. The magnetic probe array of the EMPA consists of 24 identical magnetic probes, each of them capable of measuring toroidal, poloidal and radial magnetic fluctuations simultaneously, providing additional toroidal magnetic fluctuation measurements compared with the regular magnetic probes on EAST. With a higher sampling rate and self-resonant frequency, the EMPA magnetic probes can provide higher frequency magnetic fluctuation measurements. The magnetic probe array of the EMPA is composed of two parallel layers of magnetic probes with a radial distance of 63 mm, and each layer of magnetic probes is arranged in four poloidal rows and three toroidal columns. The compact arrangement of the EMPA magnetic probe array largely improves the toroidal mode number measurement ability from-8≤ n≤ 8 to-112≤ n≤ 112, and also improves the high poloidal wave number measurement ability of magnetic fluctuations compared with the regular high frequency magnetic probes on EAST. The electrostatic probe array of the EMPA consists of two sets of four-tip probes and a single-tip probe array with three poloidal rows and four toroidal columns. It complements the electrostatic parameter measurements behind the main limiter and near the first wall in EAST. The engineering details of the EMPA diagnostic, including the mechanical system, the electrical system, the acquisition and control system, and the effective area calibration, are presented. The preliminary applications of the EMPA in L-mode and H-mode discharges on EAST have demonstrated that the EMPA works well for providing information on the magnetic and electrostatic fluctuations and can contribute to deeper physical analysis in future EAST experiments.展开更多
A new long-pulse high electron temperature(Te)regime has been achieved on experimental advanced superconducting tokamak by pure radio frequency heating.In this new scenario,there are mainly two confinement states invo...A new long-pulse high electron temperature(Te)regime has been achieved on experimental advanced superconducting tokamak by pure radio frequency heating.In this new scenario,there are mainly two confinement states involving two magneto-hydrodynamic(MHD)modes,one of which is identified as m/n=1/1 kink mode(where m and n are the poloidal and toroidal mode numbers,respectively).The frequency evolution of the kink mode is investigated through the three-dimensional,toroidal,and nonlinear Hall-MHD code CLT.We firstly find that the frequency of the m/n=1/1 kink mode significantly increases during each sawtooth crash and then confirmed it through the experimental data.The simulation results indicate that the increase of the mode frequency is mainly due to the significant increase of the electron diamagnetic frequency nearby the reconnection region.We have also observed the internal transport barrier(ITB)during the m/n=1/1 kink mode.To further investigate this m/n=1/1 kink mode in this new regime,the multi-scale interactions between the m/n=1/1 kink mode and turbulence are discussed.展开更多
Hard x-ray(HXR)burst is found during internal crash in the flat top current stage of experimental advanced superconducting tokamak(EAST)discharges and it is caused by fast electrons.The generated electrons during inte...Hard x-ray(HXR)burst is found during internal crash in the flat top current stage of experimental advanced superconducting tokamak(EAST)discharges and it is caused by fast electrons.The generated electrons during internal crashes may be an operational safety issue in advanced tokamaks.During an internal crash,locations of fast electron generation from HXR evolution agree with areas of magnetic reconnection from soft x-ray(SXR)tomographic reconstruction.Further statistical analyses show a 27μs time difference between SXR crashes and HXR bursts,and the agreement between time broadening of HXR bursts and estimated characteristic time of magnetic reconnection in EAST.The magnetic reconnections during internal crash are proved to generate fast electrons,by both spatial and temporal agreements.展开更多
Based on seven carbon sources including chemical fertilizer, pesticide, agricultural film, nitrogen fertilization, agricultural machinery, irri- gation and straw burning, the carbon emissions in agricultural productio...Based on seven carbon sources including chemical fertilizer, pesticide, agricultural film, nitrogen fertilization, agricultural machinery, irri- gation and straw burning, the carbon emissions in agricultural production of China during 1995-2011 was calculated. The results showed that both total agricultural carbon emission and per capita agricultural carbon emission overall presented growth trends, and the growth rate began to slow in recent years. The agricultural carbon emission intensity decreased year by year. Straw burning was the primary carbon source in China's agricul- ture, followed by chemical fertilizer. Total agricultural carbon emission in China in 17 years experienced three stages of "fluctuated growth -slow drop-new growth". Finally, suggestions and countermeasures of the low-carbon agriculture development in China from three aspects were proposed.展开更多
This paper uses the implicit Monte–Carlo full-orbit-following parallel program ISSDE to calculate the prompt loss and slowing down process of neutral beam injection(NBI)-generated fast ions due to Coulomb collisions ...This paper uses the implicit Monte–Carlo full-orbit-following parallel program ISSDE to calculate the prompt loss and slowing down process of neutral beam injection(NBI)-generated fast ions due to Coulomb collisions in the equilibrium configuration of Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak(EAST).This program is based on the weak equivalence of the Fokker–Planck equation under Rosenbluth Mac Donald Judd(RMJ)potential and Stratonovich stochastic differential equation(SDE).The prompt loss with the LCFS boundary and the first wall(FW)boundary of the two co-current neutral injection beams are studied.Simulation results indicate that the loss behavior of fast ions using the FW boundary is very different from that of the LCFS boundary,especially for fast ions with a large gyration radius.According to our calculations,about 5.11%of fast ions generated by perpendicular injection drift out of the LCFS and then return inside the LCFS to be captured by the magnetic field.The prompt loss ratio of fast ions and the ratio of orbital types depend on the initial distribution of fast ions in the Pζ–Λspace.Under the effect of Coulomb collisions,the pitch-angle scattering and stochastic diffusion happens,which will cause more fast ion loss.For short time scales,among the particles lost due to collisions,the fraction of banana ions reaches 92.31%in the perpendicular beam and 58.65%in the tangential beam when the fraction of banana ions in the tangential beam is 3.4%of the total ions,which means that the effect of Coulomb collisions on banana fast ions is more significant.For long time scales,the additional fast ion loss caused by Coulomb collisions of tangential and perpendicular beams accounted for 16.21%and 25.05%of the total particles,respectively.We have also investigated the slowing down process of NBI fast ions.展开更多
An internal transport barrier(ITB)can be formed on EAST in exploring high-parameter operation.Previous studies show that safety factor(q)profiles,Shafranov shift and magnetohydrodynamic behaviors could be helpful in I...An internal transport barrier(ITB)can be formed on EAST in exploring high-parameter operation.Previous studies show that safety factor(q)profiles,Shafranov shift and magnetohydrodynamic behaviors could be helpful in ITB formation by suppressing anomalous transport.Recently,electron density evolution with high resolution demonstrates that fishbone could be dominant in electron density ITB formation and sustainment.The power threshold is low in the fishbone condition and the electron density profile is determined by traits of fishbone.Simulation shows that the low-k ion mode is suppressed by fishbone.Direct measurement of turbulence in the inner region shows that the internal kink mode could sustain an electron temperature ITB by suppressing the trapped electron mode.The multi-scale interaction between the kink mode and turbulence by current could be key in sustaining high-electron-temperature long-pulse operation.展开更多
Lead sulfide(PbS)presents large potential in thermoelectric application due to its earth-abundant S element.However,its inferior average ZT(ZTave)value makes PbS less competitive with its analogs PbTe and PbSe.To prom...Lead sulfide(PbS)presents large potential in thermoelectric application due to its earth-abundant S element.However,its inferior average ZT(ZTave)value makes PbS less competitive with its analogs PbTe and PbSe.To promote its thermoelectric performance,this study implements strategies of continuous Se alloying and Cu interstitial doping to synergistically tune thermal and electrical transport properties in n-type PbS.First,the lattice parameter of 5.93Åin PbS is linearly expanded to 6.03Åin PbS_(0.5)Se_(0.5)with increasing Se alloying content.This expanded lattice in Se-alloyed PbS not only intensifies phonon scattering but also facilitates the formation of Cu interstitials.Based on the PbS_(0.6)Se_(0.4)content with the minimal lattice thermal conductivity,Cu interstitials are introduced to improve the electron density,thus boosting the peak power factor,from 3.88μW cm^(−1)K^(−2)in PbS_(0.6)Se_(0.4)to 20.58μW cm^(−1)K^(−2)in PbS0.6Se0.4−1%Cu.Meanwhile,the lattice thermal conductivity in PbS_(0.6)Se_(0.4)−x%Cu(x=0-2)is further suppressed due to the strong strain field caused by Cu interstitials.Finally,with the lowered thermal conductivity and high electrical transport properties,a peak ZT~1.1 and ZTave~0.82 can be achieved in PbS_(0.6)Se_(0.4)−1%Cu at 300–773K,which outperforms previously reported n-type PbS.展开更多

In this study, among the six identified DTXs/MATEs proteins associated with PA accumulation, we observed that allelic variation and preferential transport by Dk DTX5/MATE5 induced variation in PA accumulation for A-type and NA-type fruit. The expression pattern of Dk DTX5/MATE5 was correlated with PA accumulation in NA-type fruit. Upregulation and downregulation of Dk DTX5/MATE5 promoted and inhibited PA accumulation, respectively, in the NA-type fruit. Interestingly, transporter assays of Xenopus laevis oocytes indicated that Dk DTX5/MATE5 preferentially transported the PA precursors catechin, epicatechin, and epicatechin gallate, resulting in their increased ratios relative to the total PAs, which was the main source of variation in PA accumulation between the A-type and NA-type. The allele lacking Ser-84 in Dk DTX5/MATE5 was identified as a dominantly expressed gene in the A-type and lost its transport function. Site-directed mutagenesis revealed that Dk DTX5/MATE5 binds to PA precursors via Ser-84. These findings clarify the association between the transporter function of Dk DTX5/MATE5 and PA variation, and can contribute to the breeding of new cultivars with improved fruit quality.展开更多
Diospyros L. is the largest, most widely distributed, and economically important genus of the family Ebenaceae. However, various researchers disagree on the number of species and geographical distribution of Diospyros...Diospyros L. is the largest, most widely distributed, and economically important genus of the family Ebenaceae. However, various researchers disagree on the number of species and geographical distribution of Diospyros in China. For the purpose of providing a scientific basis for the effective protection and rational use of Diospyros, the present study involved a comprehensive review of the literature, electronic databases, and herbaria as well as field investigations. The results showed as the following.(1) While 174 scientific names have been published for various taxa of Diospyros in China, by screening and excluding synonyms, 65 species names were considered acceptable; these account for about 12%of the total species of Diospyros globally.(2) A review of herbarium specimens documented that Diospyros occurs in 28 administrative regions of China, more than the literature records. Species richness decreases from south to north in China while Guangxi, Yunnan, Guangdong, and Hainan have the greatest number of species.(3) Among the 65 relatively reliable Diospyros species, 45 species are endemic to China and 18 species are stenochoric. Some species may have become extinct as a result of environmental degradation and the status of some germplasm remain unresolved. In brief, Chinese Diospyros includes abundant, China-specific, and widely distributed features. Nevertheless, comprehensive species delimitation and the analysis of phylogenetic relationships will still require further study.展开更多

文摘In 2021,EAST realized a steady-state long pulse with a duration over 100 s and a core electron temperature over 10 keV.This is an integrated operation that resolves several key issues,including active control of wall conditioning,long-lasting fully noninductive current and divertor heat/particle flux.The fully noninductive current is driven by pure radio frequency(RF)waves with a lower hybrid current drive power of 2.5 MW and electron cyclotron resonance heating of 1.4 MW.This is an excellent experimental platform on the timescale of hundreds of seconds for studying multiscale instabilities,electron-dominant transport and particle recycling(plasma-wall interactions)under weak collisionality.

文摘Synthesizing ring structure aviation fuels from biomass-derived platform molecules is challenging,especially for bridged ring structure aviation fuels which are typically achieved from fossil-derived chemicals.Herein,we report the synthesis of a series of ring structure biofuels in two steps by a combination of a solvent-free Michael-cyclization reaction and a hydrodeoxygenation(HDO)reaction from lignocellulosederived 5,5-dimethyl-1,3-cyclohexanedione.These biofuels are obtained with high overall yields up to 90%,which exhibit high densities of 0.81 g cm^(-3)-0.88 g cm^(-3)and high volumetric neat heat of combustion(VNHOC)values of 36.0 MJ L^(-1)-38.6 MJ L^(-1).More importantly,bridged-ring structure hydrocarbons can also be achieved in two steps by a combination of a Robinson annulation reaction and an HDO reaction to afford the final products at high overall yields up to 90%.The bridged-ring structure products have comparable high densities and high VNHOC values to the best artificial fuel JP-10(0.94 g cm^(-3)and 39.6 MJ L^(-1)).The results demonstrate a promising way for the synthesis of high-density aviation fuels with different fuel properties at high yields.

文摘The blob properties in I-mode and ELM-free H-mode plasmas compared to L-mode have been investigated on the EAST tokamak,including the blob detection rate Nb,sizeδb,lifetimeτb and radial velocity vr,b.The blob properties in L-mode and I-mode are similar,and those in ELM-free H-mode are different to them.The blob Nbis smaller whileτbis larger in H-mode.The experimental blob sizeδband velocity scalings vr,b-δb show a good agreement with the theoretical models.The variation in blob properties during the L-I and H-L transitions,and their relations to the scrape-off layer(SOL)density,edge and SOL turbulence,and SOL collisionality are discussed.The suppression of the edge(inside the last closed flux surface)turbulence is not reflected in the blob behavior,while the blob detection rate shows a correlation with the SOL density and its low-frequency(3–50 kH z)fluctuations.In addition,the blob detection rate is found to increase with the divertor collisionalityΛdiv,indicating a dependence of blob behavior onΛdiv.The differences in blob detection rates among the three operating regimes might be due to their different SOL densities and collisionalities.The investigation contributes to understanding the influences of edge and SOL plasma parameters on the blob behavior.

文摘A novel electromagnetic probe array(EMPA) diagnostic, which consists of a magnetic probe array and an electrostatic probe array, has recently been developed on EAST. The EMPA is fixed near the first wall at horizontal port P. The magnetic probe array of the EMPA consists of 24 identical magnetic probes, each of them capable of measuring toroidal, poloidal and radial magnetic fluctuations simultaneously, providing additional toroidal magnetic fluctuation measurements compared with the regular magnetic probes on EAST. With a higher sampling rate and self-resonant frequency, the EMPA magnetic probes can provide higher frequency magnetic fluctuation measurements. The magnetic probe array of the EMPA is composed of two parallel layers of magnetic probes with a radial distance of 63 mm, and each layer of magnetic probes is arranged in four poloidal rows and three toroidal columns. The compact arrangement of the EMPA magnetic probe array largely improves the toroidal mode number measurement ability from-8≤ n≤ 8 to-112≤ n≤ 112, and also improves the high poloidal wave number measurement ability of magnetic fluctuations compared with the regular high frequency magnetic probes on EAST. The electrostatic probe array of the EMPA consists of two sets of four-tip probes and a single-tip probe array with three poloidal rows and four toroidal columns. It complements the electrostatic parameter measurements behind the main limiter and near the first wall in EAST. The engineering details of the EMPA diagnostic, including the mechanical system, the electrical system, the acquisition and control system, and the effective area calibration, are presented. The preliminary applications of the EMPA in L-mode and H-mode discharges on EAST have demonstrated that the EMPA works well for providing information on the magnetic and electrostatic fluctuations and can contribute to deeper physical analysis in future EAST experiments.

文摘A new long-pulse high electron temperature(Te)regime has been achieved on experimental advanced superconducting tokamak by pure radio frequency heating.In this new scenario,there are mainly two confinement states involving two magneto-hydrodynamic(MHD)modes,one of which is identified as m/n=1/1 kink mode(where m and n are the poloidal and toroidal mode numbers,respectively).The frequency evolution of the kink mode is investigated through the three-dimensional,toroidal,and nonlinear Hall-MHD code CLT.We firstly find that the frequency of the m/n=1/1 kink mode significantly increases during each sawtooth crash and then confirmed it through the experimental data.The simulation results indicate that the increase of the mode frequency is mainly due to the significant increase of the electron diamagnetic frequency nearby the reconnection region.We have also observed the internal transport barrier(ITB)during the m/n=1/1 kink mode.To further investigate this m/n=1/1 kink mode in this new regime,the multi-scale interactions between the m/n=1/1 kink mode and turbulence are discussed.
文摘Hard x-ray(HXR)burst is found during internal crash in the flat top current stage of experimental advanced superconducting tokamak(EAST)discharges and it is caused by fast electrons.The generated electrons during internal crashes may be an operational safety issue in advanced tokamaks.During an internal crash,locations of fast electron generation from HXR evolution agree with areas of magnetic reconnection from soft x-ray(SXR)tomographic reconstruction.Further statistical analyses show a 27μs time difference between SXR crashes and HXR bursts,and the agreement between time broadening of HXR bursts and estimated characteristic time of magnetic reconnection in EAST.The magnetic reconnections during internal crash are proved to generate fast electrons,by both spatial and temporal agreements.
文摘Based on seven carbon sources including chemical fertilizer, pesticide, agricultural film, nitrogen fertilization, agricultural machinery, irri- gation and straw burning, the carbon emissions in agricultural production of China during 1995-2011 was calculated. The results showed that both total agricultural carbon emission and per capita agricultural carbon emission overall presented growth trends, and the growth rate began to slow in recent years. The agricultural carbon emission intensity decreased year by year. Straw burning was the primary carbon source in China's agricul- ture, followed by chemical fertilizer. Total agricultural carbon emission in China in 17 years experienced three stages of "fluctuated growth -slow drop-new growth". Finally, suggestions and countermeasures of the low-carbon agriculture development in China from three aspects were proposed.

文摘This paper uses the implicit Monte–Carlo full-orbit-following parallel program ISSDE to calculate the prompt loss and slowing down process of neutral beam injection(NBI)-generated fast ions due to Coulomb collisions in the equilibrium configuration of Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak(EAST).This program is based on the weak equivalence of the Fokker–Planck equation under Rosenbluth Mac Donald Judd(RMJ)potential and Stratonovich stochastic differential equation(SDE).The prompt loss with the LCFS boundary and the first wall(FW)boundary of the two co-current neutral injection beams are studied.Simulation results indicate that the loss behavior of fast ions using the FW boundary is very different from that of the LCFS boundary,especially for fast ions with a large gyration radius.According to our calculations,about 5.11%of fast ions generated by perpendicular injection drift out of the LCFS and then return inside the LCFS to be captured by the magnetic field.The prompt loss ratio of fast ions and the ratio of orbital types depend on the initial distribution of fast ions in the Pζ–Λspace.Under the effect of Coulomb collisions,the pitch-angle scattering and stochastic diffusion happens,which will cause more fast ion loss.For short time scales,among the particles lost due to collisions,the fraction of banana ions reaches 92.31%in the perpendicular beam and 58.65%in the tangential beam when the fraction of banana ions in the tangential beam is 3.4%of the total ions,which means that the effect of Coulomb collisions on banana fast ions is more significant.For long time scales,the additional fast ion loss caused by Coulomb collisions of tangential and perpendicular beams accounted for 16.21%and 25.05%of the total particles,respectively.We have also investigated the slowing down process of NBI fast ions.

文摘An internal transport barrier(ITB)can be formed on EAST in exploring high-parameter operation.Previous studies show that safety factor(q)profiles,Shafranov shift and magnetohydrodynamic behaviors could be helpful in ITB formation by suppressing anomalous transport.Recently,electron density evolution with high resolution demonstrates that fishbone could be dominant in electron density ITB formation and sustainment.The power threshold is low in the fishbone condition and the electron density profile is determined by traits of fishbone.Simulation shows that the low-k ion mode is suppressed by fishbone.Direct measurement of turbulence in the inner region shows that the internal kink mode could sustain an electron temperature ITB by suppressing the trapped electron mode.The multi-scale interaction between the kink mode and turbulence by current could be key in sustaining high-electron-temperature long-pulse operation.

文摘Lead sulfide(PbS)presents large potential in thermoelectric application due to its earth-abundant S element.However,its inferior average ZT(ZTave)value makes PbS less competitive with its analogs PbTe and PbSe.To promote its thermoelectric performance,this study implements strategies of continuous Se alloying and Cu interstitial doping to synergistically tune thermal and electrical transport properties in n-type PbS.First,the lattice parameter of 5.93Åin PbS is linearly expanded to 6.03Åin PbS_(0.5)Se_(0.5)with increasing Se alloying content.This expanded lattice in Se-alloyed PbS not only intensifies phonon scattering but also facilitates the formation of Cu interstitials.Based on the PbS_(0.6)Se_(0.4)content with the minimal lattice thermal conductivity,Cu interstitials are introduced to improve the electron density,thus boosting the peak power factor,from 3.88μW cm^(−1)K^(−2)in PbS_(0.6)Se_(0.4)to 20.58μW cm^(−1)K^(−2)in PbS0.6Se0.4−1%Cu.Meanwhile,the lattice thermal conductivity in PbS_(0.6)Se_(0.4)−x%Cu(x=0-2)is further suppressed due to the strong strain field caused by Cu interstitials.Finally,with the lowered thermal conductivity and high electrical transport properties,a peak ZT~1.1 and ZTave~0.82 can be achieved in PbS_(0.6)Se_(0.4)−1%Cu at 300–773K,which outperforms previously reported n-type PbS.

文摘Proanthocyanidins(PAs) are specialized metabolites that infuence persimmon fruit quality.Normal astringent(A)-type and non-astringent(NA)-type mutants show significant variation in PA accumulation, but the infuencing mechanism remains unclear. In this study, among the six identified DTXs/MATEs proteins associated with PA accumulation, we observed that allelic variation and preferential transport by Dk DTX5/MATE5 induced variation in PA accumulation for A-type and NA-type fruit. The expression pattern of Dk DTX5/MATE5 was correlated with PA accumulation in NA-type fruit. Upregulation and downregulation of Dk DTX5/MATE5 promoted and inhibited PA accumulation, respectively, in the NA-type fruit. Interestingly, transporter assays of Xenopus laevis oocytes indicated that Dk DTX5/MATE5 preferentially transported the PA precursors catechin, epicatechin, and epicatechin gallate, resulting in their increased ratios relative to the total PAs, which was the main source of variation in PA accumulation between the A-type and NA-type. The allele lacking Ser-84 in Dk DTX5/MATE5 was identified as a dominantly expressed gene in the A-type and lost its transport function. Site-directed mutagenesis revealed that Dk DTX5/MATE5 binds to PA precursors via Ser-84. These findings clarify the association between the transporter function of Dk DTX5/MATE5 and PA variation, and can contribute to the breeding of new cultivars with improved fruit quality.

文摘Diospyros L. is the largest, most widely distributed, and economically important genus of the family Ebenaceae. However, various researchers disagree on the number of species and geographical distribution of Diospyros in China. For the purpose of providing a scientific basis for the effective protection and rational use of Diospyros, the present study involved a comprehensive review of the literature, electronic databases, and herbaria as well as field investigations. The results showed as the following.(1) While 174 scientific names have been published for various taxa of Diospyros in China, by screening and excluding synonyms, 65 species names were considered acceptable; these account for about 12%of the total species of Diospyros globally.(2) A review of herbarium specimens documented that Diospyros occurs in 28 administrative regions of China, more than the literature records. Species richness decreases from south to north in China while Guangxi, Yunnan, Guangdong, and Hainan have the greatest number of species.(3) Among the 65 relatively reliable Diospyros species, 45 species are endemic to China and 18 species are stenochoric. Some species may have become extinct as a result of environmental degradation and the status of some germplasm remain unresolved. In brief, Chinese Diospyros includes abundant, China-specific, and widely distributed features. Nevertheless, comprehensive species delimitation and the analysis of phylogenetic relationships will still require further study.

文摘In this paper the authors give an efficient bounded distance decoding(BDD for short)algorithm for NTRU lattices under some conditions about the modulus number q and the public key h.They then use this algorithm to give plain-text recovery attack to NTRUEncrypt and forgery attack on NTRUSign.In particular the authors figure out a weak domain of public keys such that the recent transcript secure version of NTRU signature scheme NTRUMLS with public keys in this domain can be forged.
