Methods: Totally 116 subjects with AS were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 58 each. The treatment group was intervened by heat-sensitive moxibustion plus acupoint injection, and the control was by oral medication. Therapeutic efficacy was evaluated after 3 treatment courses. Results: The markedly effective rate was 38.9% and the total effective rate was 96.6% in the treatment group versus 11.9% and 67.8% in the control group. The markedly effective rate and total effective rate in the treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Heat-sensitive moxibustion combining with acupoint injection has better therapeutic efficacy than oral medication in treating AS, and it's easy-to-operate without adverse reactions.展开更多

Methods: One hundred and thirty patients with PD were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group, 65 cases in each group. Patients in the treatment group were treated with herb-partitioned moxibustion plus ultra-short wave, while patients in the control group were treated with oral administration of Ibuprofen sustained-release capsules. After completing three courses of treatments, the clinical effects were evaluated by professional researchers. Results: The recovery rate of the treatment group was 58.5%, and the total effective rater was 98.5%; versus 24.6% and 81.5% in the control group. The between-group differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: Herb-partitioned moxibustion plus ultra-short wave is an easy-to-operate and effective therapy for PD.展开更多

Methods: A total of 100 TMD cases were randomly allocated into a treatment group and a control group, 50 in each group. Cases in the treatment group were treated with warm needling combined with iontophoresis of Chinese medicine, whereas cases in the control group were treated with Western medication. The therapeutic efficacies in two groups were assessed after three courses of treatment. Results: The recovery rate and total effective rate were 54.0% and 98.0% respectively in the treatment group, versus 30.0% and 82.0% in the control group, showing significant differences(both P<0.05). The recovery rates in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group respectively after 1, 2 and 3 courses of treatment, indicating that warm needling combined iontophoresis of Chinese medicine could substantially shorten the course of treatment. Conclusion: Warm needling combined with iontophoresis of Chinese medicine is remarkably effective for TMD and deserves further clinical application.展开更多
