Advertising evaluation can not only evaluate the subconscious behavior of consumers and help consumers to avoid irrational consumption, but also improve the utilization of advertising resources. To deal with this topic, electroencephalogram(EEG)data and eye movement data from18 subjects is collected. The power spectra of beta band and theta band are used to calculate the EEG attention index, while the eye attention index is calculated by the statistics at fixation on the interesting area. Therefore the fusion attention index is obtained by fusing the EEG signal and eye movement data in the feature level. The results indicate that the memory of the advertisements is synced up with the attention of the products. And the fusion attention index has a higher significant difference than the other two indexes. 展开更多

Myocardial injury is one of the most common comorbidity in SARS-CoV-2 infected patients, and has poor prognosis. However, the incidence of myocardial injury in patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection has not been sufficiently investigated during the Omicron wave.We conducted a retrospective study of 2690 patients with confirmed SARS-CoV-2 Omicron infection from Tongji Hospital. The results indicated that the myocardial injury accounted for 30.8%of the total patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection and was associated with higher in-hospital mortality than those without injury before and after propensity score matching(PSM)[adjusted hazard ratio(HR),10.61;95%confidence interval(CI),7.76–14.51;P<0.001;adjusted HR,2.70;95%CI,1.86–3.93;P<0.001;respectively].Further,the levels of cytokines(IL-1β,IL-6,IL-10,and TNF-α)in patients with myocardial injury were higher than those without injury, and the higher levels of cytokines in the myocardial injury group were associated with increased mortality.Administration of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors or angiotensin receptor blockers(ACEI/ARB)could significantly reduce the mortality in patients with myocardial injury(adjusted HR,0.52;95%CI,0.38–0.71;P<0.001).Additionally,the level of angiotensin II increased in patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection was even higher in myocardial injury group compared to those without injury.Collectively, the study summarized the clinical characteristic and outcome of SARS-CoV-2 infected patients with myocardial injury during the Omicron wave in China, and validated the protective role of ACEI/ARB in improving the survival of those with myocardial injury. 展开更多

Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)is a pandemic with no specific drugs and high fatality. The most urgent need is to find effective treatments. We sought to determine whether hydroxychloroquine(HCQ)application may reduce the death risk of critically ill COVID-19 patients. In this retrospective study,we included 550 critically ill COVID-19 patients who need mechanical ventilation in Tongji Hospital,Wuhan, from February 1,2020 to April 4,2020.All 550 patients received comparable basic treatments including antiviral drugs and antibiotics, and 48 of them were treated with oral HCQ treatment(200 mg twice a day for 7–10 days)in addition to the basic treatments.Primary endpoint is fatality of patients, and inflammatory cytokine levels were compared between HCQ and non-hydroxychloroquine(NHCQ)treatments.We found that fatalities are 18.8%(9/48)in HCQ group, which is significantly lower than 47.4%(238/502)in the NHCQ group(P<0.001).The time of hospital stay before patient death is 15(10–21)days and 8(4–14)days for the HCQ and NHCQ groups,respectively(P<0.05).The levels of inflammatory cytokine IL-6 were significantly reduced from 22.2(8.3–118.9)pg mL–1 at the beginning of the treatment to 5.2(3.0–23.4)pg mL–1(P<0.05)at the end of the treatment in the HCQ group but there is no change in the NHCQ group. These data demonstrate that addition of HCQ on top of the basic treatments is highly effective in reducing the fatality of critically ill patients of COVID-19 through attenuation of inflammatory cytokine storm. Therefore,HCQ should be prescribed as a part of treatment for critically ill COVID-19 patients, with possible outcome of saving lives. 展开更多

Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)is a highly contagious disease and a serious threat to human health.COVID-19 can cause multiple organ dysfunction, such as respiratory and circulatory failure, liver and kidney injury, disseminated intravascular coagulation, and thromboembolism, and even death. The World Health Organization reports that the mortality rate of severe-type COVID-19 is over 50%.Currently,the number of severe cases worldwide has increased rapidly, but the experience in the treatment of infected patients is still limited.Given the lack of specific antiviral drugs,multi-organ function support treatment is important for patients with COVID-19.To improve the cure rate and reduce the mortality of patients with severe-and critical-type COVID-19,this paper summarizes the experience of organ function support in patients with severe-and criticaltype COVID-19 in Optical Valley Branch of Tongji Hospital,Wuhan,China. This paper systematically summarizes the procedures of functional support therapies for multiple organs and systems, including respiratory, circulatory, renal, hepatic, and hematological systems, among patients with severe-and critical-type COVID-19.This paper provides a clinical reference and a new strategy for the optimal treatment of COVID-19 worldwide. 展开更多
