Mellae dei suoi principali affluenti nel bacino idrografico della Val Trompia al fine di valutare la qualitàdelle acque. Sono state scelte venti stazioni (nove sull’asta principale e undici sugli affluenti) e in ognunasono stati effettuati due campionamenti, in corrispondenza dei regimi idrologici di piena e di magra.I dati sono stati elaborati tramite il metodo E.B.I. e sulla base dei risultati è stata stilata la mappadi qualità, delle acque del bacino. Le indagini hanno permesso di suddividere il corso del flume in tre parti con indici decrescenti diqualità; tra gli affluenti alcuni hanno acque di ottima quatità, altri invece presentano acque fortementeinquinate. The data wereelaborated according to the E.B.I. method and on the base of the results the map of waters qualityof the basin was drawn.
