Yarn samples with a linear density of 50 Tex, 37 Tex, 30 Tex, 25 Tex, and 20 Tex were spun both on the aerodynamic compact and rotor spinning systems using the same finisher drawn sliver of medium staple cotton which were produced by a specific mixing. The quality parameters such as mass variation, imperfection index, hairiness, and tensile behavior (strength in count strength product, elongation percentage) of the yarn samples were assessed and analyzed. The results revealed that aerodynamic compact spun yarn had a lower unevenness and mass variation, a higher imperfection in case of a finer count, less hairiness, higher tensile strength, and lower elongation% compared to the open-end rotor spun yarn samples. Finally, paired- samples t-test and regression analysis were carried out by using IBM SPSS 25 to check the significance of yarn quality parameters and correlation among them.展开更多

These opinions can help organizations like tourism to improve their products and services for their consumers. Opinion mining refers to a process of identifying emotions by applying Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques to a pool of texts. This paper mainly focuses on mining public opinion from the hotel reviews domain. To do so, we proposed a novel technique called the Attention-Based Long Short Term Memory (Attention-LSTM) Network using a transfer learning approach. We empirically analyzed several machine learning and deep learning methods and observed our proposed technique provided an adequate performance for mining public opinion in the hotel reviews domain.展开更多

In making the health policy where millions of populations are at risk, it is necessary to understand the knowledge level about HIV/AIDS. So, this study aimed at to investigate the knowledge level about HIV/AIDS among the villagers. Data and necessary information were collected from one hundred villagers of Salmanpur from Comilla district, Bangladesh through a structured questionnaire. The collected data were used for univariate analysis, to carry out the description of the variables;and to justify the total score of knowledge about HIV/AIDS among the respondents, Cronbach’s alpha (α) was calculated. The results revealed that almost all the respondents (92.00%) were ever heard about HIV/AIDS and half of them (51.00%) were known it as a communicable disease. Majority of the respondents (62.00%) believed that it is caused by heterosexual relation as well as sex with HIV positive persons. However, a good number of respondents were found unaware about the major causes and preventive ways of AIDS. Less than half of the respondents (45.00%) had medium knowledge (α = 0.34 - 0.66) and only 36.00% had the enough knowledge about HIV/AIDS. The knowledge level is increasing with the increase of education level, and the respondents who involved in agricultural works are found the lowest knowledge level (47.00%) about HIV/AIDS. The villagers were known about HIV/AIDS but they do not have accurate information about the ways in which AIDS virus can or cannot be transmitted. Therefore, effective programs should be taken to increase the knowledge level about HIV/AIDS among the villagers in Bangladesh.展开更多

A plane strain model with nine experiments was presented here to examine the fault strength with two major rock phyical properties: cohesion and angle of internal friction. Mohr-Coulomb failure criterion with bulk rock properties were applied to analyse faults. The stress field at any point of the model was assumed to be comprised of gravitational and tectonic components. The analysis was focused to recognize the seismogenic shear strain concentrated in the internal-cristaline domain of the orogene shown by the modeling. Modeling results are presented in terms of four parameters, i. e., (i) distributions, orientations, and magnitudes of principal stresses (σ1 and σ3), (ii) displacement vector1 (iii) strain distribution, and (iv) maximum shear stress (τmax) contour line within the model. The simulation results show that the compressive stress is distributed in and around the fault systems. The overall orientation of of σ1 is in horizontal directions, although reorientations do occur within some stress weaker parts, especially subsequent to the faults. A large-scale shear stress is accumulating along the active faults of Tapias-Villicum Fault (TVF), Salinas-Berros Fault (SBF), Ampacama-Niquizanga Fault (ANF) and Las Charas Fault (CF), which could act as local stress and strain modulators to localize the earthquakesoccurrence.展开更多

The resulting pharmacokinetic data demonstrated that although no significant differences were observed between the time of peak concentration (Tmax), peak plasma concentration (Cmax), and the area under the curve (AUC0→∞) values of both administrated samples, NI tended to be absorbed to a much greater extent from the lyophilized NI-SLN-Tre suspensions because of the enhanced solvation of NI-SLN in gastrointestinal fluid, derived from formation of hydrogen bonds between the polar head groups of the lipids and the O-H groups of trehalose. Furthermore, the results of a hemolysis assay revealed that the NI-SLN and NI-SLN-Tre suspensions showed good hemocompatibility properties with hemolysis values of less than 5%. Taken together, the results of this study demonstrate that NI-SLN-Tre exhibits suitable pharmacokinetic properties and good biocompatibility.展开更多

Two times rotations are utilized in the model relating to crystallographic coordinates with Cartesian coordinates. The symmetry of photoelastic constants is found to have strong dependence with rotation angle. Using the model, one can determine photoelastic constants in any orientation by selecting appropriate rotation angle. The outcome of this study helps to characterize spatial variation of residual strain in crystalline as well as polycrystalline materials having cubic structure using the experimental technique known as scanning infrared polariscope.展开更多

The InGaN film with In contents up to 0.4 are successfully grown by controlling the fundamental growth parameters such as the precursor gas flow rates, temperature etc. The formation of metallic In originates from the higher value (0.74) of trimethylindium/ (trimethylindium + triethylgallium) (TMI/(TMI + TEG)) molar ratio with low (4100) V/lll weight molar ratio while the lower value (0.2) of TMI/(TMI + TEG) causes the phase separation. It is also necessary to control the growth rate and epitaxial film thickness to suppress the phase separation in the material. The crystalline quality of grown films is studied and it is found to be markedly deteriorated with increasing In content. The lattice parameters as well as the thermal expansion coefficient mismatch between GaN template and InGaN epi-layer are primarily considered as the reasons to deteriorate the film quality for higher In content. By using Ino.16Ga0.84N films, an n+-p homo-junction structure is fabricated on 0.65 μm GaN template. For such a device, the response to the light illumination (AM 1.5) is observed with an open circuit voltage of 1.4 V and the short circuit current density of 0.25 mA/cm2. To improve the performance as well as increase solar photon capturing, the device is further fabricated on thick GaN template with higher In content. The In0.25Ga0.75N n+-p junction solar cell is found better performance with an open circuit voltage of 1.5 V and the short circuit current density of 0.5 mA/cm2. This is the InGaN p-n homo-junction solar cell with the highest In content ever reported by MOVPE.展开更多

In lab condition, all the tested chemical fungicides (Rovral 50 WP, Dithane M-45, Ridomil Gold MZ-72 and Cupravit 50 WP) significantly reduced mycelial growth of both pathogens. Among the fungicides, Rovral 50 WP @ 0.2% reduced the highest radial mycelial growth followed by Dithane M-45 @ 0.45% and Ridomil Gold MZ-72 @ 0.2% compared to control. In field experiment, application of Rovral 50 WP @ 0.2% along with micronutrients showed significant effect in reducing disease incidence and severity which significantly increased bulb yield and yield contributing characters.
